After my wife and I bought our first home together, we became a dog household and adopted Roxy from a local shelter, a shepherd husky mix. She stayed with us through her senior years. Since then, we've trained three doodle puppies and rescued Tiffany, a breeder mama. We cared for her all the way through her struggle with lymphoma. My schedule is rather flexible for Rover clients around gardening and practicing vocal music for my community choir. My background has equipped me with strong knowledge in pet illness prevention, senior care, physical therapy, and behavioral management. My home is very quiet and stress free. There are no children present or any people traffic. I take requests and make accommodations for pet owners, if a dog or cat is better suited as the only animal present during their stay, just let me know! I spend the duration of a booking and focus 100% of my effort entertaining and attending to pets. Your pet will never be unattended for the duration of a booking. We are kennel free, unless it’s part of your pets regular routine. I currently care for multiple rotating rescue animals and understand that every pet has their own story, needs, and comfort level. I approach each one with compassion, respect, and a calm, confident energy that helps them feel secure and loved. I’m also experienced with administering oral and topical medications, wound care, specialized diets, and gentle rehabilitation exercises to help pets heal and thrive.
About: Hi! My name is Kaya, and I’m a student at the University of Arizona studying Elementary Education. I’m currently spending my summer in Brentwood and am available for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. My education has strengthened my patience, responsibility, communication skills, and ability to provide attentive care. I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and caregiver. I have owned 3 family cats and fostered 2, along with volunteer work helping find kittens forever homes and currently care for my own three-legged cat. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to provide patient, attentive, and loving care to pets with a variety of personalities and needs. While babysitting for families, I’ve also helped care for their dogs by feeding them, taking them outside for bathroom breaks, supervising them around the house, keeping them off furniture when requested, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I enjoy building trust with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their families are away. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves attention and playtime or prefers a calm and quiet environment, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. As a pet owner myself, I know how reassuring updates can be while you’re away. I’m happy to send photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m currently working in a restaurant about three nights a week, but I have a very flexible schedule outside of that and can attend before and/or after work. I have a lot of experience with cuddles, cleaning cat box’s, dry /wet food, keeping the doors closed, toys, treat's, brushing hair, attending to pet waste removal, and cleaning any additional mess.

About: From a friend I adopted Spooky, a black Halloween cat, more than thirty years ago. He slept curled against me every night for the rest of his long life. After my wife and I bought our first home together, we became a dog household and adopted Roxy from a local shelter, a shepherd husky mix. She stayed with us through her senior years. Since then, we've trained three doodle puppies and rescued Tiffany, a breeder mama. We cared for her all the way through her struggle with lymphoma. My schedule is rather flexible for Rover clients around gardening and practicing vocal music for my community choir. You get a substitute Pet Papa for your best friend, and I get to spend time with dogs and cats, while I earn a little extra income for gardening supplies and paining classes. It’s a Win-Win. Drop in visits for dogs and cats to feed, water and exercise. I can also give oral medications. Only one dog at a time for boarding and day care. Our three friendly doodles welcome your best friend to enjoy pack hospitality in our large, dog safe yard and home. Located in a quiet gated community. “This is the 3rd time we have used Lauren & Mike to watch our 2 dogs and again it was great. We had a last minute trip come up and luckily they were able to watch the dogs for us. Our youngest, Kylo is more shy but this time he warmed up to the family right away and Talula had a happy whine as we drove up to the house so I know they are well taken care of and love spending time with the family. The doggy room and the outside area is very clean and definitely made Neji feel like she was at home!
