About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.

About: I love all kinds of animals! My first cat followed me home in kindergarten, and I got my first dog at 11. I nursed her through cancer during college and she died in my arms in 2022. I currently have 6 pets (5 rescues) — 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits! I spend my free time training them, loving them, and proving enrichment. “All I can say is WOW! This was my first time using Rover and it was absolutely incredible. I expect this was a rare Rover experience - because we seriously could not have asked for more. My girlfriend and I were in town for a weekend getaway and wanted to check out some non dog-friendly wineries during the afternoon/evening on a Saturday. We saw Amanda's listing and crossed our fingers with our last minute Friday night booking. Amanda responded within the hour letting us know she would be happy to watch over him for the day. Her communication was professional and her availability flexible. Let me tell you... Amanda's place is an absolute wonderland for an adventure dog. She has a ton of property for your dog to run around on ... and animals galore! Our husky (Myth) got to meet horses, donkeys, ostriches, cats, chickens ... and more! This was an amazing experience for him (as a city dog that only gets to play with other dogs at the dog park). I can't imagine another scenario where he would have got to interact and play with such a diverse array of animals. Amanda clearly knows how to handle animals as well. She briefed us on her background training and handling all sorts of different animals and then backed it up with hourly videos showing us a new trick she had taught Myth - or a fun picture/video of Myth playing with one of her other animals (shoutout to her new dog Anakin who is an absolute good boy and new best friend of Myth's). She even asked us if it was okay to take Myth to the dog park. Her communication during Myth's stay helped us relax while out and about. She is clearly an animal lover to the core. If I'm being honest I'm pretty sure Myth would have been happy to stay on Amanda's ranch forever. 10/10 experience ... and her rate is super reasonable for the amazing experience your dog is going to get under her care. About: Being an animal lover runs in my family. So, I’ve been caring for dogs and cats my whole life! I have bottle fed kittens, taken care of elderly pets, and very young puppies. Ranging anywhere from 5-75 pounds. I’m no stranger to pet medicine, scooping litter boxes, or even training. I look forward to working with you and meeting your fur-baby! I work entirely from home and already care for my own animals. Which I take my dogs for walks in my beautiful neighborhood and they play in my large fenced area as well. I also own a double pet stroller. Great for small, medium, and/or elderly pet walks. Lastly, I have one indoor/outdoor cat and three indoor cats that are also friendly. I have four fixed, friendly, trained dogs. They are very used to meeting new animals and living with cats. My only large animal is my golden retriever. Which he is very friendly and gentle. The others are a chihuahua, doxin, and mini schnauzer. So, my home is especially perfect if your pet would like some play mates! I also have a doggy kitty pool if he/she likes water. If needed, I also have a large cozy crate and separate fenced yard for separation.

About: I am a 33 yr old Army Vet and I currently work at a Veterinary Hospital when I'm not on active duty. I have 4 pets; 2 dogs & 2 reptiles. I have own all types of animals since I was a child and my passion continues to grow! I am off Saturday-Monday with minimal hours the remainder of the week of 8-245pm. Home nights and weekends so this allows a semi flexible availability. I live in a gated apartment complex that is pet friendly. There is a local dog park that I use for my own pets as well as trails near by.

I am no longer able to watch no more than one small dog or cat from my own home, but would still love to work with your pets in your home, while you are away at work or on vacation. I am however able to watch cats in my home! I'm able to check in on your living pets throughout the day and take your pup/pups on long walks. And spend quality time with her/him while you are away. Then of course there is belly scratching time or perhaps a game of catch. Your pup is sure to be spoiled by me! Also I am able to feed and water any other pets you may have while I am there. I would love to meet with you and your precious pup, for a walk around the block! I accept all types of doggies, kitties and such!! About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.

About: I have traveled a lot in the past and as a dog owner I understand the need for reliable and affordable dog care. As a teacher I have the summer off, so I am home most of the time right now and would love to offer that care to your furry friend. I have a house with a fenced in backyard and a wonderful 10-year-old husky mix who plays well with small-to-large sized dogs. I live with my husband who will be home in the evenings and on weekends, but I will be the only one providing care. If your dog(s) are friendly with other dogs, I look forward to hosting them! Meal times are usually 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. Walks in the am or pm depending on the heat. A fenced in backyard means your pup can let themselves out whenever they need relief. My husband and I have a house with an 8-foot fence and a friendly husky mix to keep your dog(s) company. Our dog is a lover of trash, so we are very careful to keep food out of reach and the trash can locked.
About: I have tons of animal experience, from chickens to horses and everything in between. Many of my high school years were spent in dog and cat rescue, and I have taken multiple animal science courses in college so I am very comfortable with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. I have always been the person who brings home every stray I see, and I currently have a mini dachshund puppy named Lady May!
