About: Animals are my thing. I have dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and sheep, many who are rescues, and I love them all. I have been taking care of animals ever since I was a young child and thought about becoming a vet, but I became a teacher instead. I am off work for the summer and many of my weekends are free now that my children are all teens and above. I am located conveniently near the 145 and highway 41 in the Madera Ranchos. On your way to Yosemite? Going to have some family time in Fresno? I’ll take care of your pet for you. Your dog will join the pack for its stay and relax or play on the 2 acres of fenced in land. I’m a teacher so I have open availability in the summer and on most weekends. I can check in on your pets in the afternoons or evenings when I’m working. I have 2 acres of fenced in yard. I also offer the dogs time to cool off in the pool and a large house to hang out in. If you want me to drop in on your pets at your home in the afternoons and weekends, I can do that too.

“Everything we asked Mayra to do in order to care for our cat she did. Mayra's communication and work skills are impressive. Words cannot describe how happy we were with what Mayra did with our cat. My wife was worried before we met Mayra and my wife's concerns that we would find someone caring disappeared after we met with Myra to give her the key and go over where things were. About: Always had one or more dogs around in the family for as long as I can remember. I’ve always enjoyed being around them and while I currently don’t have a dog of my own, I figured offering my time to spend with others dogs would be a great way to spend my time. I’ve also had experience working at a local pet store for a few years where daily cleaning of puppy cages and feeding was required as well as administering parvo shots to customer’s dogs and advising them on proper food choices. Typically busy between 10am-12pm during the weekday but can make exceptions if needed to take care of your pets during that time.
