I am a student in the teaching zoo in Moorpark college, where I learn hands-on care experience on exotic animals and training them I have worked with ranchers before on farm animal work like a daily horse, cattle, sheep, and chicken care. I have also been in a veterinary class for two years. Currently I am a student in the teaching zoo in Moorpark college where I come in everyday to care for a selection number of exotic species such as hawks, serval, tigers, alligator, and monkeys. I will watch over the pets and play with them to make sure that they are entertained. And i will also make sure on special request that the owner leaves like medication, potty breaks, etc.

Depending on the and amount of pets during their stay, if low population we will go for a walk, play outside or play inside. If higher population pets will be allowed to play with other pets unless instructed not to. “This was my first time ever needing a dog sitter who wasn't a family member or friend and having my current 6 month old timid velcro puppy means that I had to be extra wary of where I leave her. When Anya and I met Audra during the meet and greet we were able to chat for a while and I felt totally comfortable explaining my own concerns and Anyas needs of patience and time. Audra was able to address them all and the answers she gave made me feel she would be a great fit. Dropping off my puppy was hard but it was easier knowing that someone who seems to really love dogs and was capable of accomodating a more timid dog had her. I was able to get updates throughout her daycare stay and when I picked her up she seemed perfectly fine and elated to see me. Driving home she was plum tuckered out and napped but when she got back home Anya was back to her regularly scheduled trouble. I gave her a look over and saw no issues and behavioral wise Anya acts as if she had never been gone at all. Afterwards I asked Audra some questions about Anya and how she did to follow up with her dog training and received prompt responses that will help me make sure that this timid pup continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If I have to find someone to watch her again or need an overnight boarding I will definitely see if Audra is available first.”

I myself have used Rover for overnight stays for our pet Max and we know how difficult it can be to leave your fur baby in the care of someone you don't know. When I needed a pet sitter, I really appreciated the peace of mind that comes from knowing that my pet was being tended to as well as I would tend to him myself. Sadly, we recently said good-bye to our handsome boy Max of 14 years. Now I've decided to be part of the Rover community to be of service to families and their pets. We miss Max dearly, so here we are, ready to open our home to love and take care of your loyal furry friend...because...We truly believe that life is better with a dog! I grew up with dogs and as a young girl I worked at a ranch taking care of farm animals, and a few years back I fostered dogs in my home. My family and I are dog people and my daughter wants to be a veterinarian, she is naturally really good with dogs. Have had Max all her life has taught her proper responsibility and behavior with animals. We will fully incorporate your pet into our family. I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my daughter of 8, so your furry friend will never feel alone. I may need to run errands or take my daughter to and from practice. Please let me know how your dog does when left home alone for a short period of time. There will be constant supervision and interaction with your dog, especially cuddles. They will have as many potty breaks as they need, plenty of play, and will be part of our family while they are visiting. I have two parks nearby that we can walk over to, to get some of that playful energy out. All dogs that stay with us will have full access to our home. Photos and updates will be provided regularly. I am more than happy to schedule a one on one call or a meet and greet with you to provide that extra layer of comfort. We have a fenced yard. Not much traffic is coming in or out of our home so the front door is never left wide open. No pets in our home at this moment.

About: Always had one or more dogs around in the family for as long as I can remember. I’ve always enjoyed being around them and while I currently don’t have a dog of my own, I figured offering my time to spend with others dogs would be a great way to spend my time. I’ve also had experience working at a local pet store for a few years where daily cleaning of puppy cages and feeding was required as well as administering parvo shots to customer’s dogs and advising them on proper food choices. Typically busy between 10am-12pm during the weekday but can make exceptions if needed to take care of your pets during that time. Other than that, pretty much have time to check in or provide playtime and walks between 8am-8pm Doing a meet and greet with pets before spending extended amounts of time with them to not only get to know the animal but also address any concerns that you may have as well.
