Not only that, he had just had surgery for an abscess and was in a cone, very hard for him to be inside and in a stranger‘s house which all happened very quickly, because our 11th grandchild came two weeks early and we had four hours to get everything done and get on a flight to Texas! Christi and Michael made this seamless from the beginning of booking, to the end when they met my friend at the Veterinary to have his staples removed, and now he’s home. One happy cat for sure. About: I have always wanted to be able to be around animals and help others with their own pets, over the years I’ve learned different ways of caring for different animals, and different and new tricks to help animals learn new skills and live a happy and comfortable life! About: I've had pets (of many varieties) all of my life. My high school included classes in animal care, my first job was at a pet store, I spent several years fostering dogs and cats for a local shelter, and I've cared for friends and neighbors pets while they were on vacation. I'm currently a substitute teacher finishing up my my teaching degree. I don't teach every day and I substitute 5 minutes from home so I am able to return for lunch. I appreciated that their first message was asking about Cody’s vaccination records, which immediately showed they care about the safety of the pets they watch. Communication was excellent from the start, and the detailed arrival instructions they sent before drop-off made finding their property easy. Their home sits on a beautiful piece of land with farm animals and plenty of space. The last part of the drive is a dirt road and a little bumpy, but completely manageable and worth it. Christy was friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and Cody seemed comfortable and well cared for. Pickup was smooth, and he was relaxed in their home with the other dogs and kittens. Overall, a very positive experience and I would trust them with Cody again.”

About: Hi, I have grown up and taken care of dogs and many other animals , my entire life. My Mom and Dad had a lab who had 14 pups and I grew up with 2 of those puppies, Rowdy and TyTy. After Rowdy passed, at 14 years , we got the first of 2 Rottweilers, Cody Bear and then Brigadier, a 155 lb. teddy bear. Brig thought he was a lap dog, had to finally get him his own love seat! Now, I have my own family. Maya is our Rott. Mix and our first baby! She has been back and forth to Italy with us, on a road trip acoss the U.S. Everywhere we go she's with us. When we lived in Italy, we also had silkie chickens. I have owned rabbits , cats and one of my favorites was a ferret, D'artagnan. Our animals are our family.

I myself have used Rover for overnight stays for our pet Max and we know how difficult it can be to leave your fur baby in the care of someone you don't know. When I needed a pet sitter, I really appreciated the peace of mind that comes from knowing that my pet was being tended to as well as I would tend to him myself. Sadly, we recently said good-bye to our handsome boy Max of 14 years. Now I've decided to be part of the Rover community to be of service to families and their pets. We miss Max dearly, so here we are, ready to open our home to love and take care of your loyal furry friend...because...We truly believe that life is better with a dog! I grew up with dogs and as a young girl I worked at a ranch taking care of farm animals, and a few years back I fostered dogs in my home. My family and I are dog people and my daughter wants to be a veterinarian, she is naturally really good with dogs. Have had Max all her life has taught her proper responsibility and behavior with animals. We will fully incorporate your pet into our family. I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my daughter of 8, so your furry friend will never feel alone. I may need to run errands or take my daughter to and from practice. Please let me know how your dog does when left home alone for a short period of time. There will be constant supervision and interaction with your dog, especially cuddles. They will have as many potty breaks as they need, plenty of play, and will be part of our family while they are visiting. I have two parks nearby that we can walk over to, to get some of that playful energy out. All dogs that stay with us will have full access to our home. Photos and updates will be provided regularly. I am more than happy to schedule a one on one call or a meet and greet with you to provide that extra layer of comfort. We have a fenced yard. Not much traffic is coming in or out of our home so the front door is never left wide open. No pets in our home at this moment.

About: From photographer to sales coordinator, I recently left my job at a canine only training and boarding facility to work from home. I worked with dogs and their owner's every day for six months, monitoring, discussing medication and how it is to be administered, complicated feeding instructions, understanding good health and healthy dispositions in dog's and being able to make appropriate calls if an illness or injury or change in behavior were to arise. I have had my dog Kali for 13 years, I have a three year old cat named Brady, and the a newest addition to the family is female feline Luna . Kali is a 25 pound beagle mix that loves other dogs. Brady and Luna are dog lovers as well. Kali and I frequently enjoy hiking Runyon Canyon and taking trips to Huntington Beach dog beach. I'm open to watching all dogs, big and small, old and young. About: Currently not boarding or hosting day care. I live in a house with 2 acres of fenced in backyard. Have two cats and one 6 month old puppy. Large dogs will have ample space to run around. Will provide plenty of photos and keep in constant contact so you can rest assured your babies are being loved and cared for. I do have an XL crate and dog bed for those interested. Ideally, I ask you bring a familiar blanket or toy to help soothe the pets. Pet care is my main focus when they’re scheduled with me. My entire day is set to ensure I’m available for walks, potty breaks and playtime. I have 2 acres of grassy backyard that is fenced in. Perfect for big dogs to roam in. If you have high energy this is a good way to tire them out.

About: I've always been around dogs ever since I was little. The past couple years, I have house/dog sat for one of my good friends parents. They have 2 larger dogs and 2 smaller dogs, also a kitty! About: I've grown up with German Shepherds, and can lift up to 70 pounds. I often house sat for friends and family. One in which had me take care of four dogs and four cats. My jobs included feeding, walking, and playing with the dogs.
