My 14-month-old dog is very cautious and usually takes a long time to adjust to new environments, so I was very worried about how things would go. It was his first experience being cared for by someone outside of our family, which was a big challenge for him—and I’m sure it was also a bit difficult for Lisa. But she kindly accepted, and I was truly grateful. Before the sitting, she even made time for us so that my dog and I could get a little more comfortable with her. She really went above and beyond and made my cat feel safe and comfortable while I was away. This actually prevented my cat from having accidents while she was with him, which we were struggling with since Dec. of last year. Zeus didn’t have one poop accident during the 4 days of drop-in visits! I was absolutely blown away at this, Mellania is a true miracle worker and worked her magic with him! She was excellent at giving regular updates and providing pictures as well. My cat absolutely loved her and had the best time with her. 💛 Can’t recommend Mellania enough, she’s an amazing pet sitter and such a sweet and lovely person! When things slow down and I enjoy watching the dogs run around the yard while I work on projects around the house. In our home, dogs have the opportunity to venture between the house and the patio or back yard freely (so long as you are okay w that). The backyard is completely fenced in and double-gated. There is also fresh water dispersed around the property, along with plenty of toys and chews to play with. There is also a patio area so our furry friends can get some shade, if needed. When it comes to cats, I am more than happy to accommodate any size cat, I have a loft in my house that cats love to climb up into and laze about. They have toys and scratching posts up there as well for enrichment. I also have a beautiful beam that stretches above my kitchen that they tend to love to lay on and watch people walk around below. Every animal is different with its own unique temperament . What I enjoy doing is creating a comfy, secure, calm, and fun environment for each and every animal I get the opportunity to meet and care for.

About: Dog sat for a few coworkers a few years ago. Dog sat for my coworkers this year for a few weeks at a time. Had a few pet cats growing up as a child. I work dayshift during the week. About: Currently, an employee of a 24hr animal hospital, as well as, worked as lead staff in a dog daycare for six years I'm certain your dog will have a very safe and fun time! I've had 2 dogs for 18 years and still have my one mini-Aussie and we frequently go on hikes and road trips. I'm also versed in a little grooming having done it my own Aussie. I currently work full-time on the weekends so weekdays are my main free schedule. I typically go on hikes (short or long), walks for photography, and sometimes go for a run.
