“If we can recommend anybody to watch over your pup we recommend Berenisse! We left our fur baby for 3 nights 4 days with Berenisse and during that time, Berenisse was in contact with us, showing us videos and pictures of our pup and keeping us up to date with our puppy’s activities. While on vacation, Berenisse made our trip worry free and gave us that peace of mind that our puppy was in great hands. Berenisse is very knowledgeable, and professional. Thank you Berenisse for everything. We will be coming back for sure 👍🏽”

“Brittany is an exceptional pet sitter! Milo had an amazing time and was pampered exceptionally well. We received regular updates, photos, and communications, which we greatly appreciated, especially from my kids.”

“We were so fortunate to find Ashley on Rover to take care of our 10-year-old dog. We had two days full of celebration and activities and dogs were not invited. We were able to drop Louie off a few miles from our event. Ashley was friendly, accommodating and reliable. She sent pictures of Louie during his stay. We love ❤️getting pictures of our pet when he is not with us. Thank you so much Ashley for being there for Louie.”

“Lady loves Natalia! Thank you so much for the amazing care and attention to details about Lady’s schedule to medications and how she was so loved in your care. We definitely will book with you again and anyone reading this, book with Natalia, she was wonderful!!!!”

“Lynn & Marty took great care of Lillie. When we arrived to pick her up, Lillie was happy & relaxed. L&M were communicative while we were away, took and sent excellent photos.”

“Monique is such a warm and friendly person. My dog was at ease immediately and that helped me feel calmer too I am so grateful I found someone who loves animals the way I do My future stays will be stress free because of her Thank you SO MUCH ☺️ 💖”

“Karrie was absolutely wonderful with our babies. One of our dogs is almost 17 and needs a little extra attention and Karrie was so patient and caring. We also received picture updates while we were gone and I dogs loved going to the dog park with her.”
“Like most of the other reviews....our dog Emna came home tired and smiling. Jeanine took her out to the dog park and to Maffitt Reservoir to run around and get plenty of exercise. Emma is our only dog so it was nice for her to have other dogs close to her size to run around with and socialize with. She has a doggy door that the dogs can come and go as they please into the back yard. She was very flexible and willing to work with our schedule for drop off and pick ups. She even sent us home with a few doogy treats and a new dog toy. When we need her in the future we will use her services. Thanks again Jeanine!!!!!!!!”

“We were really nervous about boarding our chihuahua, Paulie Walnuts, but Kyle and Sara are so patient and really relaxed. Turns out, our little "cute, but psycho" old man had a great time! We received many wonderful pictures and videos of him having a good time walking, playing, and most of all chilling. When we needed an extra day/night due to an out-of-town emergency, we were lucky enough that they were able to keep Paulie Walnuts a little longer. What a relief. They came through in a pinch for us and it's greatly appreciated. We knew we didn't have to worry one bit. This was a great experience overall, and we highly recommend Kyle and Sara for your pet boarding needs. We'd definitely use their services again. Thank you so much for giving our little man such great care ❤️”

“Danielle provided excellent care for our Lilly. We appreciated the pictures updating us on how Lilly was doing during her stay. Also, we appreciated Danielle's extra attention and care since Lilly did get a bit of an upset stomach during her stay. Lilly was in great spirits when we returned from our trip and no doubt it was because of Danielle's care for her.”

“Krystal took excellent care of my dog and was very accommodating with time and scheduling changes. She sent lots of pictures and videos for peace of mind and is very responsive with communicating. Krystal really cares for animals and I would be happy to book with her again!”

“Mallory was nothing short of incredible taking care of Gus. She is attentive, caring, responsible and communicative. Highly recommend her and looking forward to working with her again.”

“Ellen was amazing! my little dog needed medication administered and some special attention and Ellen handled it no problem. We highly recommend her and will have our little dog stay with her next time we leave!”

I am happy to crate your dog if your prefer. I do not have a yard but guarantee numerous walks of varying distance and length, depending on your dog”s needs.
About: I have experience with my 2 dogs and our friend dogs for about 8 years now. We used to take them to walk , hike and beach whenever we could. All my family love dogs and take cares of our furry friends like our owns. I am housemaker with cute 2 boys who are high school and college. And 3rd son Bruno who is always with me at home. I love dogs and always wanted to be with them to play and teach. I have a House with big back and front yard fully fenced. Also on the walk we always keep dogs on leash whenever we go.
“Robert was more than helpful with a short notice booking request. My dog can be a little standoff-ish with people; but, my dog had a great time with him and his family. There was definitely a lot of play time as my dog came home and zonked right out for the day. I definitely recommend Robert and his family and I will definitely be going back!”

“Shaundra was a terrific pet sitter for my cat. She visited daily to feed and interact with my cat. As a vet tech, Shaundra is the perfect person to keep an eye on your pet. Shaundra is super communicator and a lovely person. We absolutely would use her again.”

About: I've been around a variety of cats since a young age. Shy or timid cats tend to have an easier time with me than others since I have a very calm and gentle demeaner. My own cat was shy and she became the most loving cat I've ever known. I spent hours in quiet and patience to earn her trust and gave her a loving full life. After that, I took up training cats for fun!
“Meighan did a wonderful job watching my cat, Meepers. Meighan was careful to check on her and send me photos. She even confirmed I came back. I'd definitely book Meighan for my sitter needs in the future. I recommend her to others as well.”

About: Hi there! 👋 My name is Berenisse and I’m a Certified Basic Obedience Dog Trainer based in Buellton, CA. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and what started as a hobby has grown into my true passion. I bring a well-rounded background to pet care and training. I’ve worked as a vet tech and as a dog trainer’s assistant, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have some experience in dog agility training, which I love incorporating for fun and exercise when appropriate. My approach to training and care is rooted in positive reinforcement—building trust, respect, and clear communication with every dog. I believe all dogs deserve patience, love, and encouragement, and I enjoy tailoring my care to meet each pup’s unique needs. I’m also very active, so whether your dog needs structured training, a playful walk, or an energetic workout buddy, I’m happy to be there for them. More than anything, I truly understand how much dogs enrich our lives—and I treat every dog as if they were my own. 🐾 Loving care, respectful training, and lots of tail wags guaranteed! Most of the time I work from home, I do drive around some days and when I am caring for dogs I try to incorporate car rides, physical and mental activity to keep them happy, healthy and to provide a positive experience. They get constant walks, the dog park is a couple blocks away from my house and I do take advantage of that to make sure they get their daily physical and mental estimulation.

About: **MEET + GREET PRIOR REQUIRED** I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life and since we brought home our first cats when I was in third grade, I was hooked. From cats to wild creatures needed help to dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further!

“Ashley was great with our Calvin! She offered to pick him up each night and drop him off and he got to play with her fur babies on their nice property. She was very easy to communicate with and answered quickly. He definitely enjoyed his time there.”

“Brittany is an outstanding dig sitter for anyone. Along with being very responsible and professional, she has a great personality and is considerate of the needs of pet owners. Her dog Rio got along very well with my dog Kenzo and kept him entertained all day. 5 stars for sure; I hope to be rebooking with Brittany soon!”

“Thank you for taking excellent care of Winnie while I attended a wedding! She clearly enjoyed her time with you and your son. I love that you prioritized her comfort on a very hot day, let her hang out on your bed, and accepted my absurd amount of dog supplies that I handed you at drop-off. I appreciate that after it became clear your dog was a bit much for her (un-neutered and a little too boy-ish), you kept them separate. Would re-book if I came back to the area and needed help in the future!”

About: Hello Families! I love all animals and ready to help care for yours while you're away! I grew up on a farm with my parents, and ever since I can remember, we've always had animals around. They ran a non-profit animal rescue for many years, and this taught me much about the responsibilities of caring for an animal. I was also able to learn about different breeds and their temperaments. Although they are nice to play with, we were also taught that with the pleasurable part, also comes the dirty work. I've cleaned much animal poop in my life! My sister and I have ridden horses since we were young, we've volunteered at different animal shelters, and we have brought injured animals into our home to take care of them. I recently graduated and received my Bachelor's degree. I'm continuing my education, which makes me available to go to your home during weekday evenings or weekends (all day). I also offer boarding at my home (24/7), which is safe and secure. I have several yards for your pet(s) to play and exercise. I can feed, administer medication if needed, exercise, clean litter-boxes, and give your pet(s) the love and attention they deserve! I understand your pet(s) have become part of your family, and I will take care of them as if they were my own! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I hope to hear from you soon! Thank you, Mia
“Alejandra & Rodrigo did a wonderful job caring for Dobby. We received regular care summaries with pictures each day which put us at ease that each day went well. We could see that Dobby was in the loving care of warm and friendly caregivers. We would definitely work with Alejandro & Rodrigo again!”

“Robert is reliable, caring and will be there for your pup to help take care of them when you schedule with him. Working two jobs right now and grateful I found him to help with all the juggling. Definitely recommend 👍🏽 👍🏽”

About: I've always loved animals. I have two dogs of my own. As a dog walker, I am careful and put safety first, as I do with my own dogs. I am detailed oriented so if you give me specific directions, I'm going to execute accordingly. I am patient and flexible and respond well to the unexpected. I am reliable and hold my word with the utmost integrity. I practice positive reinforcement when working with dogs. I believe in the importance of dog socialization and regular exercise and think that long walks are so important. While we all have jobs, I'm excited to help you relieve any anxiety and give your doggy the care and attention she/he needs. I look forward to sharing my love with your doggy companion! <3 I have two dogs (a large and a medium size dog) but am in Santa Barbara working toward a PhD so my doggies are at home in San Francisco with my partner. On the upside, I have very flexible schedule, lots of love and care to give to dogs, and lots of experience with working with dogs! My home is dog friendly. My first dog used to live in Santa Barbara with me but once we got our second dog, we decided to keep them in San Francisco, where they have more space. I am a PhD student, therefore my apartment's size is proportionate with my meager PhD income. But, I live right next to beach and trail access. I also have a car with dog friendly seatbelt to take dogs to farther parks and hikes. I have a love for all animals, and treat all animals with care and attention. This is the same attention I will give to your pet. I'm used to active dogs, dogs needing medical care or strict schedule, anxious dogs, and am always willing to learn on the job!
“Sholeh is very calm, attentive, and knows about dogs. My 10 month old golden retriever is timid at new places and still gets overstimulated on walks sometimes. Sholeh handled him patiently and positively. She also asked before offering the treats she prepared. She offered meet and greet before the sitting and really tried to know my dog. She read my dog’s profile and care instructions beforehand and remembered it. She always responded within a few minutes. She communicated well, she noticed any smallest discomfort in my dog, communicated with me and took great care of my dog. Overall, highly recommended.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have experience caring for dogs with different energy levels, routines, and needs. Weather it’s daily walks or overnight visits, i’m confident handling all of your pets needs I am currently unemployed and am home from college for the summer so can devote as much of my time possible to walking, watching, feeding, and living your pets! I pride myself on great communication while you are aware to ensure both you and your pets are satisfied! I can send you photos through the day if that is something you are interested in, and can take into account any special needs your furry friends have.
“Monique was awesome, super nice home in gated community, next to a park, constant communication, with pics sent. Highly recommend and would definitely take my Ben to her again! Thank you Monique :-)”

“I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am to have met Marty and Lynn. They were so accommodating and even flexible with some last-minute changes. My boy, Todd, was in absolute paradise in their lush backyard. They are so generous to open it up for daycare. I love seeing photos throughout the day of Todd’s relaxing day in their special care. We booked 2 dog sitting days, back to back and the second day when I dropped Todd off he was PULLING so excited to be back! I wish I lived closer and could have Todd see them all the time! They are fabulous dog people and I can’t wait for the next time we are in Santa Barbara.”

About: Mature and experienced. I love animals and will take care of your pet as if they are my own. I will support whatever you and your pet need to make our time together comfortable and safe. Great communication. I will update you as often as you like. I work from home and can make my schedule fit your pet's needs. I enjoy frequent breaks and walks, both short and long. Your pet will not be alone for more than four hours in one day. Your pet can enjoy the great outdoors in my fenced in yard (approximately 15x15 feet, as well as all of the spaces of my 3 bedroom townhome.
“Amber was great! In the 12 hours my golden retriever was with her, they went on multiple walks and she was exhausted by the time we got home (that’s a good thing). They were even walking when I arrived to pick her up! Super sweet, lots of photos that we loved seeing. I highly recommend!”

About: I believe that all pets should experience living life and doing fun activities that we all do! I grew up with pets my whole life, having 2 dogs and 2 cats. What inspired me to begin my journey on this app is from when I volunteered at my local shelter to foster huskies, ranging from a day trip to week long care. I like to plan fun activities in advance with the pets to do throughout the day/weeks, which can be a fun stroll to the beach to collect seashells, going to downtown, and meeting new people at events (such as the farmers markets, makers markets, and more)! I make sure they are under the best possible care while still having fun :) I’m a current student, so I would appreciate if services are scheduled in advance. At the same time, I’m overall pretty flexible and tailors to clients needs. This can be scheduling, pricing, and instructions! I’m pretty flexible! Something as easy as dog walking or drop-ins I can basically do any time, but dog/ cat sitting needs a bit more preparation. Being a student, sometimes things can come up last minute. When given instructions, I am pretty on top of it. Any requests I would be more than happy to accommodate. No need to be afraid to ask questions! I listen to instructions well.
“This was our second day, and I was so happy to see how comfortable my dog became. She has separation anxiety, but today she wagged her tail and walked in calmly, which felt like a huge step forward. I really appreciate the patient, reassuring environment—it made a big difference for her sense of safety. Thank you for taking such good care of her.”

“Booked Ashlyn on short notice and she came through for us in a pinch! She was awesome and took great care of my boys! Would recommend and will definetly use her in the future!”

About: Since a very young age (about 5+), I have been taking care of a myriad of animals and learned animal body language from them. It was incredible and I learned a lot of valuable skills from them. After that, I took up teaching myself how to train dogs (plus puppies and cats) with positive training methods. It was a lot of fun and very rewarding to see how they engage, come together with themselves, and gaining a more fulfilling life. And now I am offering pet sitting! I have a lot of time and availability to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. *Note: Puppies must have had all 3 of their puppy shots in order for me to accept. I work from home so my schedule is very free and available from short to long stays. Perfect for people who love to travel or need consistent daily routines for their pets. I care for my client's home with respect and great care. I like to keep things clean and feeling good for everyone. The pets I will be a good friend to, treating them with kindness, play time, exercise if needed, and being consistent with their desired routine.
“Sholeh was wonderful with our Nori! She’s warm and easy to communicate with, and was flexible. Nori can be a nervous pup around new people, but Sholeh’s experience really showed — she was patient and gave her space to warm up at her own pace. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely book again!”

Please note, if you foresee last-minute requests for daycare, check-ins, and/or dog walking being necessary in the future, please reach out to schedule a formal meet and greet anytime in advance so we may know that the pups are a good match prior to any late bookings becoming necessary. For my safety and the safety of my dogs and yours, I will not accept last-minute check-ins or dog walking requests without this meet and greet completed. Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.

“Dayna was fantastic! I contacted her fairly last minute to see if she could walk my dog and she responded quickly and was incredibly helpful! My senior pup seemed to really like her as well.”

“Lynn & Marty took great care of Lillie. When we arrived to pick her up, Lillie was happy & relaxed. L&M were communicative while we were away, took and sent excellent photos.”

“Sandy and her husband were so sweet with our dog who had an injury right before our vacation. Sandy could tell we didn’t want to leave her, and provided lots of reassurance that our dog would be in good hands. Because of the injury she had a lot of extra meds, which Sandy administered easily! Thank you, Sandy and Tony for loving on Sadey! She even got a beach day!”

About: I’ve spent over 30 years caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and grounded in a lifetime of hands-on experience. I run a local Montecito dog walking business, working with dogs of all breeds and specializing in big, athletic, and high-energy dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.
