When provided I will feed your pet and give them water when needed; and I will even give your pet treats or rewards for good behavior or fun tricks they may know. About: Growing up, I always loved on my neighbors’ cats. My dad and sister were allergic, so we couldn’t have any in the house. I would sit on the driveway for hours playing with the neighborhood kitties. Now I have a cat of my own and she is 4 years old. I adopted her when she was very sick, from a friend who did not have the time to nurse her back to health. She was on 6 different medications and had to be syringe-fed and given subcutaneous fluids! She recovered after a few months of close care, and is now healthy, happy, and playful, and my whole world. What inspired me to begin my journey on this app is from when I volunteered at my local shelter to foster huskies, ranging from a day trip to week long care. I like to plan fun activities in advance with the pets to do throughout the day/weeks, which can be a fun stroll to the beach to collect seashells, going to downtown, and meeting new people at events (such as the farmers markets, makers markets, and more)! I make sure they are under the best possible care while still having fun :) I’m a current student, so I would appreciate if services are scheduled in advance. At the same time, I’m overall pretty flexible and tailors to clients needs. This can be scheduling, pricing, and instructions! I’m pretty flexible! About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Please note, if you foresee last-minute requests for daycare, check-ins, and/or dog walking being necessary in the future, please reach out to schedule a formal meet and greet anytime in advance so we may know that the pups are a good match prior to any late bookings becoming necessary. For my safety and the safety of my dogs and yours, I will not accept last-minute check-ins or dog walking requests without this meet and greet completed. Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.
About: Since a very young age (about 5+), I have been taking care of a myriad of animals and learned animal body language from them. It was incredible and I learned a lot of valuable skills from them. After that, I took up teaching myself how to train dogs (plus puppies and cats) with positive training methods. About: Since I was a just a kid I have loved all kinds of dogs, I know all the great dog parks in the area to play fetch or just let them run free (in the gated park of coarse) and even enjoy taking them on hikes threw out the city or to the beach on a sunny day! We can play fetch or tug o war, lay inside and hangout or go outside and enjoy the sun. When provided I will feed your pet and give them water when needed; and I will even give your pet treats or rewards for good behavior or fun tricks they may know. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs.
