“Truly the best dog sitter we’ve ever had! Cookie (our corgi) stayed with Katherine for two days and one night during a heat wave, and somehow he still came home relaxed, happy, and totally himself. She made sure he got the exercise he needs—even in the heat—and it really showed. Katherine’s home is beautiful—so warm, clean, and inviting—and her garden is just as lovely. It’s clear she puts care into everything she does, and that includes how she takes care of the dogs she watches. When I picked Cookie up, he was calm and content, like he’d had his own little vacation. It’s not easy to wear out a corgi, but Katherine managed it with total thoughtfulness. It’s such a relief to know Cookie was in good hands, and it honestly made my time away so much easier. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to her again. So grateful!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I first started fostering puppies and kitten at the age of 12. I am new to Rover but I have extensive hands on experience, including working for two years at small animal hospital and volunteering at local animal shelter. She gave me a little tour of where my dog would be spending his time and asked questions about his needs/personality when I dropped him off. The indoor area is very specious and has a gate to separate some dogs from others based on temperament. My dog was showing signs of possessiveness over his toy so she was proactive about giving him his own space away from the other dogs. She said when the dogs weren’t outside playing he chose to spend his time right next to her while she worked. Lupe sent pictures and gave a recap of how he played well outside with other dogs and was fed separately.”

Putting water down for them. Putting food bowl down for them at there specified times. Potty breaks are given every 1-2 hours. Nap times and rest times encouraged. Play time encouraged several times a day. Walking service is up to you but we do offer dog walking for little extra charge.

I also worked at a job with dogs for four years during this time. During college I did Rover for four years. After college I worked at two different small animal vets as a technician. I know work with animal shelter animals. I have 9 years of pet sitting and dog walking experience. I have enjoyed working with dogs, cats, horses, birds, and small animals. I would love to meet your pets! I am able to care for your pets before and after my work hours. My schedule is usually changing weekly, but I am available most mornings. I have house sit and cared for animals for over 9 years. I have many years of experience with all different types of animals with many different temperaments.
About: I have developed patience with animals as I have experience training my dog to be potty trained, as well as special tricks. My backyard is average sized, but my neighborhood is perfect for walking dogs! I have administered medications to dogs and rodents of my own. I have two dogs and a guinea pig, who I am all the primary caregiver for. I have a consistent walking routine as I have a high-energy dog who requires frequent walks. I have had guinea pigs for six years who I have been the sole caregiver for. I have adapted to their needs and it is now routine to cater towards them. I have a tall, sturdy wooden fence around my yard that has no potential for exit. I am attentive and careful, as well as knowledgeable about the body language and behaviors of cats and dogs.

She sent great pics and made sure he got out all of his puppy energy! I also think she maybe fell a little in love with our little guy. So that coupled with how happy and rested he came back to us gives us every confidence she will always care for our little monster. We will definitely use Tiffany every chance we get when we need someone to step in and love him the way we do!”

She communicated well, responded promptly to the initial request and all subsequent messages. She’s kind and clearly has a love of dogs that shows through her interactions. She is very understanding and accommodating. Our dogs were perfectly happy when we picked them up after a long week and I’m sure wouldn’t have protested to staying longer. Will definitely be using her again whenever we need help with our pups!”

“Siarra was BEYOND accommodating and welcoming to my big 85 lb pup. She was also very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors which provided me great comfort. This was his 1st stay away from home during the last year and we were gone for 4 days. Siarra made Hershey's first interactions with other dogs at the dog park fun and exciting. She treated him as her own and you can't ask for more than that.”
