About: I have taken care of dogs small to big since i was around 10. I am a 3 sport athlete with a 3.8 gpa thats ready for energetic playful dogs and lazy couch potato dogs, as i have both kinds myself! My schedule is fairly open most days. I have college wrestling practice on weekdays from 4–6 PM, but aside from that, I'm generally available throughout the summer, with the exception of a few occasions when I need to care for my younger brother, who has special needs. I was raised to respect people houses and living space. I have never and will never drink or smoke. I let my own dogs out 3 times a day morning evening and night with walks at night so they and I dont overheat. I love playing fetch and tug of war with them and by the time their inside their big lazy couch potatoes i love to sit with.

“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. About: I have always had a dog but I can only attest to caring for those I’ve raised. I’ve raised two labs and a huskie pittie. I currently have a young 1 year old male lab who loves a great play session with another doggy friend. I’ve often dog cat overnight and it gives my pets great socialization opportunities. I currently work full time from home from 8am to 5pm. My dog is routinely walked 1 hours a day with several enticing activities through out my work day. On the weekend I like to take him to the park and hiking if there is no playdate scheduled. I have a fenced yard and the most social dog to keep them company. Plenty of toys and treats. About: I grew up on a farm and have always taken care of cats, dogs, turtles, and chickens. I live in an apartment with 3 girls and one cat (his name is pumpkin and he is a big kind boy!) I’m a very active person, walking and running whenever I get the chance. I’m used to having a household full of animals so I’d love to meet all your pets! I am a full time student but I have no classes Friday-Sunday. I am available early mornings and evenings most days for check-ins or walks! Also, not just to potty, but to explore the neighborhood, RUN for extended periods of time, and to constantly practice/improve use of commands, and healthy interactions with other people/pets/stimulation we may encounter along the way!
About: I’ve done animal care for family and friends. I had a 3-month internship at a veterinary hospital so I have gained experience. I am currently volunteering at CALM Zoo for animal care and veterinary care. I’ve taken care of cats since 9 yrs old and taken cared of dogs since 13 yrs old. I’ve fed, walked, played with, and administered oral medication to dogs. I am currently unemployed. I am a student who has online summer classes. There is no responsibility tying me down to one place. I have a great daytime flexibility. I double checked if doors are closed, how I handle a leash, watch animal behavior to see if they are in any way stressed and how I can help minimize it. I am open to more safety rules parents have to keep their babies safe.
About: This job taking care of dogs is by far my one of my favorite one as dogs are therapeutic and a joy to be around I've cared for about 20ish dogs now and some repeat clients since being on here in December of 2024 and don't regret a moment at all and learned alot. I love taking care of dogs and can also handle walking the giant dog breeds and love pitbulls/huskies also Huge rottweiler fan !
