About: I’ve been taking care of pets as a job since I was 10. However, I have grown up from birth around many different animals in my household. Ranging from dogs to turtles, I’ve had it all! We’d love to get to know you and your four-legged family member and make their stay with us feel like a home away from home! Brittany works from home and has a very flexible schedule so can spend all day with your dog. We are happy to modify our daily routines to accommodate your dogs's normal walking and feeding schedule so they feel right at home. We can also accommodate last minute bookings. Your pup’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a securely fenced yard where your dog can enjoy outdoor time, but we will always supervise them while they’re outside. Inside, they’re welcome to make themselves completely at home — including cuddling up on the couch or sleeping on the bed with us. We only host one family’s dogs at a time, so your pup gets our full attention without having to share our home with unfamiliar dogs. We also do not have children, creating a calm and comfortable environment where your dog can settle in and feel at ease. We’ll follow your pup’s routines, preferences, and house rules as closely as possible so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay.
About: I volunteered at Haven Humane Society in Redding for three years, where I gained a lot of experience caring for both cats and dogs. While I was there, I helped clean and sanitize their areas, walked dogs, and spent time socializing with the cats. In my personal life, I have a kitty who is my pride and joy! He does well with other animals and has definitely made my love for animals even stronger. I also had a dog who recently passed away. I had her since she was a puppy and helped train and care for her throughout her life, so I’m very familiar with the puppy world and all the patience and attention that comes with it! I’ve always loved animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your pets. About: I am a dog-lover and have grown up around dogs my whole life! Growing up, my family has had various dog breeds: a Great Pyrenees, a Bernese Mountain Dog, Dachshunds, a Golden Retriever, and even a Lab/Spaniel/Retriever mix. My husband and I have used to her a few times while we have been out of town to give our 16 year old kitty her daily blood pressure medicine. Not only is she friendly and responsive towards people as well as reliable. She’s patient and kind with pets. My 16 year old girl who’s normally shy around strangers was at first shy around Melissa but has since warmed up that when it isn’t med time, she will greet her and let Melissa pet her for a few seconds (as is her nature she isn’t a kitty that likes being touched in general unless it’s on her terms) Melissa has her own two pets which I think helps with knowing how to read animal body language but also helps animals eventually trust her. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter for the things I’ve asked of Melissa while we are away, if you ask politely and remember she to is a person. She delivers exceptionally!! Would definitely recommend her, but would also use her for future dates if applicable with her schedule.”

He’s usually such an anxious guy but as so soon as he met Lina and her dog Winnie, he seemed right at home. We were a little anxious leaving him since this was our very first Rover experience but we felt much better because she made sure to give us regular updates to let us know that he was doing great.
