“Daysha is a lifesaver! I came into town from over eight hours away under very stressful circumstances and had never been to the area before. When my pet sitter canceled at the last minute, I decided to bring my almost two-year-old Chinese Crested with me. My mom suggested trying Rover for doggy daycare. It was 9 PM and less than 48 hours before my arrival, but Daysha responded immediately. She was communicative, professional, and instantly put my mind at ease. She happily agreed to care for my pup on short notice, asked thoughtful questions about his routine, diet, and personality, and was incredibly flexible with an early morning drop-off and pickup time. On our way there, we discovered that the nonrefundable hotel I had booked didn’t allow pets. I had been misinformed and immediately panicked. We reached out to Daysha to ask if she could accommodate an overnight stay instead—even though we were still seven hours away and wouldn’t arrive until around 11 PM. She didn’t hesitate for a second and said, “no problem!” My dog sleeps with me every night, and this was our first time apart. I hadn’t planned for him to stay elsewhere, but Daysha was completely prepared and even had a crate available since I hadn’t brought one. She and her adorable chihuahua mix, Harlow, met us outside, and we introduced the dogs on leash first in a neutral space—such a thoughtful and knowledgeable approach. Then we moved to the backyard so they could get more comfortable off-leash. She even invited us inside briefly before I said goodbye, which I really appreciated. I was worried my pup might have a hard time adjusting, especially since he’s used to sleeping with me, but Daysha handled everything with ease. She didn’t force him into the crate (which meant a lot to me), and he ended up sleeping comfortably in the bed I brought. Throughout his stay, I received regular photo and video updates, and Daysha remained consistently communicative. Honestly, I think it was harder on me than it was on my dog! I’m so grateful for this experience—Daysha truly went above and beyond, and I would absolutely trust her again.”

About: I grew up taking care of 3 cats and 1 dog. Unfortunately 2 of my cats passed away due to old age, but one is still hanging on 14 years strong! My dog is older, but a few years ago I got my boyfriend a puppy, who ended up having puppies of his own. 2 from the litter are now mine and they are currently 1 year old. I care for them daily and have trained them ever since. I have helped my aunts and uncles with pet sitting as well when I was younger. They have 2 dogs and a bearded dragon along with 3 turtles. I am also volunteering at my local Veterinarian Office to gain experience to become a Veterinarian someday. Like many college students most of my time is usually at home studying or the library so my schedule is very flexible, whether you need me to go to you’re home at at any time with enough time in advance. I have a fenced house so the animal can’t get out and then a small wooden fence that is if the dog wants to be separated from my other dogs but I’m much more comfortable making sure the pet is in their own home due to my dogs because they aren’t friendly with others pets
