Another important thing for me is making the environment inviting through presence of toys, bones, blankets, beds, and cat trees (we have one at our apartment). I try to leave the windows or blinds open during the day so the cats can spend time looking outside (they are indoor cats, but I have had outdoor cats). I will also sometimes play those pet TV videos on YouTube.
About: I have been dog sitting for friends and family for about 5 years. I have worked with a variety of different breeds in different situations. I have experience with dogs that have behavioral problems and am very patient and willing to work with them. About: I've been pet sitting for many different types of dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, guinea pigs, ferrets, house birds, and chickens since I was 10 years old. Before that, I worked at Petco for a year and a half as "Animal Manager" (Performing hourly rounds to check on the well being of every animal in store). So believe me, I can clean up a mess if your pet makes one! I'm currently only working a couple days a week, and have a very flexible schedule. I can be very patient with your pets assuming they have some kind of trauma they rely on their human to help with. For example, my corgi can't eat without permission so I'll sit with her and give her a pat and a "good girl!" after each bite. I've got no problem putting pets in cages/kennels so long as it is properly sized for the pet. If you have no fencing I can take your pets out for a potty break with the leash no problem. Also I'm great with house training puppies!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in 3rd grade. It wasn’t until 2024 that I started looking after Mom's dog Sally, and I have looked after her very well then and on many other occasions. I’ve also looked after Melon, my brother's greyhound whenever he and his wife had to go away. I have lots of free time, with a couple exceptions: on Monday, I have therapy every two weeks. On Tuesday, I go to quality connections. On Wednesday, I work at APS. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday’s, and Sundays would be best, but any day will do, so long as your dog doesn’t mind being alone for long periods of time. I can take your dog out for a walk when he or she needs to go. I make sure to feed them and give them their medicine at the proper time. I can also provide a dog with a friend and companionship.
