About: Currently i have two small dogs a cat and a gecko. Growing up my mother was always taking in strays and helping nurse them back to good health. So we could find them their forever home. We always had dogs and cats in the house. There were plenty of times I have had to administer medication and take special care of the pups. I’m currently working a Part-Time job, but am looking to make this more of my permanent job. I’m available after 2 pm as of now, but in the future will have more availability. Since our yard is not fenced we leash the pups before going out to ensure safety. Our dogs are very friendly and will be more than happy to keep your pups company. Your pup will have access to plenty of outdoor activities as I have a dog park very close, as well as several hiking trails super close by! I like to bring my dog to one big activity a day whether it is a hike or going to the dog park to get out some energy. We would love it if your pup would want to join us for those activities but if they prefer to stay home that’s totally fine too! And then we do TONS of enrichment activities afterwards to stimulate his super smart and mischievous brain! I do not have a yard because I am on the second story but I have a fenced in deck my dog loves to soak up the sun on! I take my puppy out every hour/hour and a half on a little walk around town (.5 miles). Depending on your pups specific needs we could make these walks longer or shorter! :) I am not working anymore, so I have ample time to play and love on your pup in whatever way they need! I also have a pup who loves to play or snuggle with whatever dog is with us for the day! I have a 2 year old puppy to keep your dog company if they are interested, but can also be separated as my pup is crate trained and we have 2 big bedrooms that they can have their own space in if need be! Taken out for potty breaks often! Please let me know your pups daily routine so that I can make this transition as easy as possible for them. I grew up rescuing and rehoming cats, and as an adult I’ve cared for both dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities and needs. For the past few years, I’ve shared life with Ozzy, my friendly 3-year-old Labradoodle, and my spunky Labradoodle puppy, Maple. We love long walks, playtime at the park, and a good game of tug! Before Ozzy and Maple, I cared for a Goldendoodle for four years, so I’m very familiar with high-energy, social breeds that need both exercise and attention. As a pet parent who has used Rover, I understand how important it is to find reliable, loving care for your furry family member. Whether you need drop-in visits, dog walking, or in-home pet sitting, I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved. Outside of pet care, I’m a freelance photographer and mixology enthusiast, so I bring creativity and calm focus to everything I do. About: I've owned and cared for dogs and other animals for the majority of my life, and I have over a decade of professional experience in the pet care industry. Most recently, I managed a pet resort and spa in the DMV area. I can provide oral and topical medications, as well as simple injections like insulin. While I am not a vet myself, I have a wide knowledge of health and behavioral issues, and can keep a close eye to alert you if any problems arise. I’ve worked with puppies and seniors, toy poodles and Great Danes. I also love cats! I’m confident I can take the best care of your baby. I currently work part-time in the mornings, so I’m available starting in the early afternoon through the evening. I could do weekend visits as well if needed. I prefer to only do daytime visits, but will do overnights for the right family! As I have a cat who must be an only child, I do not accept any boarding in my own home. In your home, I will always follow your instructions for caring for your pet, and never take a dog out off-leash.

About: I have cared for all kinds of animals since age 12. I am familiar with basic pet first aid, can administer medications and am an avid pet lover! I work from home Monday- Friday, mostly in the mornings. My hours will vary but I have ample free time throughout the day to check in on pets. Very caring and attentive, will love and play with your pets when you are not available to. I can follow any safety procedure you deem necessary for your fur baby! I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate most visit times and hours needed throughout any given day. I am willing to flex my work schedule as needed. “We booked a week stay with Alma over the Memorial Holiday to travel back to NYC for my daughter's graduation. We have two large 70+# Labs that are very friendly and playful and sometimes don't realize they are not lap dogs. I moved back to the area and so did not have a regular dog caretaker; Alma took the time so we could have a pre-visit to see where the dogs would be and get to know Alma and Alma to get to know the dogs. Everything worked out great, we received almost daily updates with pictures of the dogs having fun while in NYC. Great on communications and updates with follow through, definite recommendation and when the time comes for us to travel sans dogs, we will be looking her up again.”
