“Can we give 100 stars? We went to Hawaii and are pretty sure our dog might have had more fun with Lara than we did on our trip. (Which is hard. The trip was awesome.) ?? Our dog is a dog's dog. He loves playing with others pups, and had the chance to do so all week. Every single video she sent showed him just having the best time with the other dogs-- and he even got to go out with the horses on the road! Our dog has A LOT of food issues and it was worrying that he would get into something (he is unable to eat anything except for his specialized food)-- not a problem. She kept him safe and made sure he didn't have anything he wasn't supposed to. Lara and her family are a true dog sitting gem. I need to plan another vacay just so our guy can stay with them again. “Gail is the most amazing pet sitter. My precious Miniature Schnauzer was cared for with such kindness and attention. We travel often and after our previous pet sitter needed to leave Tucson for personal reasons we were panicked. Finding Gail was a godsend. Gail offers a boutique pet vacation experience in her lovely home in a gated community. Gail’s home has a beautifully landscaped back yard with good strong concrete block fencing, sturdy gates and lots of shaded area. After completing a meet and greet with Gail I concluded that she is everything I could possibly ask for in a pet sitter. Her home in Saddlebroke is well worth the drive. It’s a beautiful area full of golf courses and magnificent mountain views. Gail works from home so she spends a lot of time with the pets in her care. She was always lightening-fast with messages on Rover. She is a well educated professional and it shows. The elite housing development where they live is so full of places for her to have adventures with her dogs. My dog got along very well with Gail’s two small senior dogs. Leaving my pup with Gail felt like dropping him off at a fancy desert resort for a vacation. I honestly think that my pups vacation was just as fun and relaxing as mine was. Gail could be a professional pet photographer. She sent such cute photos of my dog while we were on vacation. The photos are so adorable that I saved them all on my computer. I know my dog very well and I could tell from the photos that he was totally relaxed, safe and having fun. I could not be more pleased with Gail and the love and attention she showed my beloved little schnauzer while I was away. Gail’s location in Saddlebrooke is absolutely worth the drive. It’s very scenic and the slightly higher altitude means more outdoor fun time for your pup in the summer. My experience with Gail was flawless from start to beginning. She is a gem. About: I'm a first-year veterinary student at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine, here in Oro Valley, AZ. As a student, I work with all kinds of animals, from companion animals to reptiles and farm animals! I graduated with my bachelor's degree in the pre-veterinary track from Arizona State University in 2025 and hope to graduate with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2028. - I've been an animal lover since I was a child when I first started volunteering at the animal shelter! I've worked in veterinary clinics as a veterinary assistant throughout undergrad so I have a lot of experience with animals. I love pet-sitting through Rover as a de-stressor from school, as animals always make me happy :) - Meet and Greets are a must before our first booking to ensure I’m a good fit for you and your pet(s). - Lastly, pet safety is my priority at all times. I ensure that homes are left in the same original condition as upon arrival and lock up according to the owner’s instructions. I am currently a full time professional student doing Rover on the side to help pay off my student loans! - I still have school over the summer! My classes are from Monday-Friday. The times we have are variable for each day and are range from 8am-5pm. - Drop-ins/dog walking: We usually have a 1-hour break at 11am where I can stop by if you live close to my school, or I can come when classes are over for the day. - House-sitting: I am fully available to house-sit on weekends, but I have classes on weekdays. Though I am still able to house-sit on weekdays, keep in mind that I may be not be able to stay at your house for a good chunk of the day, depending on the day. If you need weekday house-sitting, please reach out to me with the days you need and for how much of those days you need me to be at your house! I can check my schedule and get back to you. Sometimes, we have whole mornings off or get done super early, so it just depends. Drop-ins/Walking: I will always message you the time I complete my visit and send you photos of your furry friend(s)! I can provide you any details of the visit you need such as if they went potty, how much they ate, etc. - House-sitting: I know it's nerve-racking to leave your loved one(s) and go off on a trip. However, I can send you photos as often as you'd like so you feel confident that they are in good hands. I'll keep an eye out on messages during my stay so I can respond with updates. I will reliably follow the directions you give me, making sure your loved one(s) feel safe & happy! Please provide specific instructions for pet and home care, including safety protocols in your home. Otherwise, I'm careful to not disturb anything inside your home and will ensure it is locked up properly and cleaned up upon my departure! - Boarding/Daycare: I can only accommodate small-medium dogs with more calm personalities for boarding at this time. I live with my parents who are also animal lovers. We live in a dog-proof house with a fenced yard available for potty breaks. We can only accommodate either boarding or daycare at one time. Before booking, you and your pup can visit my house to see if it is a good fit!

About: My husband and I have retired and live in Saddlebrooke. We both watched dogs before when we lived in Columbus and now in Arizona and we LOVE it! Between the two of us we are home alot to spoil our (and your!) dogs, but do note that we do take bike rides etc in the 2-3 hour range several times a week. We watch ONLY ONE family’s dog(s) at one time so that we can give YOUR pet the special attention that he or she deserves. I have found each dog that we've watched to be a special gift in his or her own way and consider it a real blessing to be given the honor of watching your pet. I've been watching dogs for decades for family, neighbors and friends and loving it! I have always had dogs, helped my uncle raising schnauzer's, and done obedience work with several of my dogs - who were amazing! We have one dog, Emmie, a 15 yr old Havanese who while initially wary of new dogs and people becomes friends. She is pretty low key ( and toothless) and so dogs that have very high energy would not be a good fit. She accepts other dogs but doesn't usually care to play with them (but we do!!) We also require all dogs that we watch to be up to date on all immunizations, and are fully house broken and non aggressive. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and on our bed. We have a secure five foot fence in our back yard. My husband and I are retired and so are around home a lot, yet we are active and love to take walks and snuggle and play with the dogs! I have a five foot fenced in back yard. Dogs are welcome anywhere in our house including our bed. Our Havenese sleeps with us and yours is welcome too!

About: I've cared for animals my whole life. 18 y/o I bought my first Rottweiler. then found a puppy in the trash at a circle k. Bear and Cisco were the first puppies i trained. Next i bred rotties for 6 years. 7 litters later i was a pro,lol. I am now retired at 49 y/o and love animals more than ever. I'd love to meet your pet! my schedule is very flexible. willing to accommodate all needs with proper communication and scheduling. I have reliable transportation for our pets and drive very cautiously. my 3 y/o black labrador, Chase, is an outside only dog now. He is happy and healthy. Walked daily, cleaned up after and has fresh water all day long.

Pet care isn’t just a task for me it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day. I follow each pet’s routine closely whether I’m in my home or yours. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs like meds or crate training. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved in a clean and calm environment.

I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work during the week, but I’m generally available in the evenings and have a flexible schedule on weekends. I’m happy to accommodate different needs whenever possible… it’s usually just a matter of coordinating schedules in advance 😊 I live in an apartment with access to a dog park right in the complex, so there is plenty of space for walks, playtime, and fresh air. I also love spending time outdoors and often visit parks, lakes, and hiking trails whenever I can. If a dog enjoys adventures, I would be happy to bring them along with me :)

“Can we give 100 stars? We went to Hawaii and are pretty sure our dog might have had more fun with Lara than we did on our trip. (Which is hard. The trip was awesome.) ?? Our dog is a dog's dog. He loves playing with others pups, and had the chance to do so all week. Every single video she sent showed him just having the best time with the other dogs-- and he even got to go out with the horses on the road! Our dog has A LOT of food issues and it was worrying that he would get into something (he is unable to eat anything except for his specialized food)-- not a problem. She kept him safe and made sure he didn't have anything he wasn't supposed to. Lara and her family are a true dog sitting gem. I need to plan another vacay just so our guy can stay with them again. “I absolutely had no worries leaving my dog with Alex! She has a big clean partly shaded backyard for him to run around in which was a plus for us because we live in a loft with no backyard. Alex kept me updated on my dog and sent the cutest pics of him. She also let him get on the beds so he definitely felt at home. I was very pleased and will be using her services again!”

He took on the giant task of caring for my 3- month old puppy. His daily updates were a nice touch to quell any concerns I had. My puppy had the most incredible time playing with other dogs. He came back home exhausted but more importantly, he came back less a puppy- no biting, lots of kisses and snuggles! I’m not sure what magic Ryan has but needless to say I HIGHLY recommend him.
