Before I’d mostly sit for friends when they go on vacation or work trips, plenty experience with house sitting, walks and play time and feeding ect. I’m currently in school for a few hours during the day and the rest of the time is spent catering to your special pups needs! About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. As an adult I opted for the ease of a cat companion. So I have never lived in a house without at least a dog or a cat. About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I have a PRN position at a children’s hospital, so I have plenty of time to check in on your baby/babies. I work a short Monday shift from 12-4PM. I have a hybrid pharmacy schedule, so I am able to attend classes from wherever I am. I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.

“Really sweet family and just overall perfect experience for both me and my pup. Before boarding: Alani and her families invited us to do meet-and-greet, asked questions about my dog’s usual routines, sent information about other two dogs mine will be staying with ahead of time. During the stay: Alani sent photos and updates daily. Informed me if anything was unusual. They took her to a dog park when the weather got cooler. Pick-up: They were very accommodating while my flight schedules changed. Alani gave me an update on how my dog stay went, anything she noticed, etc. My dog seemed well-played and happy. I felt like they understood how stressful and nervous it can be to part with a pup for extended period, and did everything to help. Alani and her family will always be my first choice to sit my pup going forward. Thank you.”

“I was very nervous about leaving my very anxious 10 month old bernedoodle with anyone for the first time, but Daniel was incredible!! I went on a 5 day trip and got at LEAST 1 picture a day with an update. I knew my dog was in good hands and he had a friendly pup friend to play with too. On top of all of that, Daniel also taught my dog a new trick! I will definitely be using daniel for any future trips. Seriously took all the anxiety out of leaving my dog with a stranger.
