Our Shepsky hasnt been with us an entire year yet so while she is a good girl, we were reserved wondering if she would feel comfortable and how she'd settle in around strangers. Rachael seems to know dogs well but is incredibly humble which I believe is SUPER important when it comes to keeping dogs safe and not making assumptions. About: I grew up always having and taking care of our dogs in our home. Now as a mother of three, I've also had the privilege of caring for our Boston Terrier Coco of 8 years (who crossed the rainbow bridge last year) and Charlie, our Goldendoodle of almost two years. Our pets are truly a part of our family and any dog that comes to our home gets treated as an extended family member. My ten-year-old son inherited my love for animals. We have a large fenced yard with lots of fluffy grass for dogs to run around and play in. We love to go on family walks along the lake in the evenings.

There's a futon in my office that the dogs are welcome to nap on while I'm working and I take frequent breaks for play time. I live in a ground floor townhouse with a private patio that has a dog door. I'm located in a quiet neighborhood that's perfect for walks but if your dog has extra energy to burn I'm always happy to go to the dog park. I believe that our pets are our family and I'd treat your fur baby like a member of the family. I currently have one medium energy medium size dog that's always happy to make new friends. I also have some reptiles in enclosures around my living room.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life! I have professional experience with dogs, cats, horses, fish, rodents, and birds. I fostered for the Big Fluffy Dog Rescue based out of Tennessee when I lived in Chicago including long term foster care and transport! I have taken care of puppies, seniors, and all the in between. I believe that animals have this unique energy and pure understanding of the world that can make a persons life so much better. I can do basic training, learned animal safety skills, and oral medicine administration. I am happy to match your pets unique energy whether that’s laying down and relaxing for a chill afternoon or running around outdoors for some fun high energy playtime! I’ll always take to time to get to know your fur baby and tailor their care to them :) I currently work mornings, typically 4am-10am. I live with my partner so when I’m out at work in the morning your pet will still have a companion and someone to take them outside or just hang out around! When I get home from work it’s playtime, I love to interact with animals and find their energy fun and exciting and so sweet! We will absolutely tailor your experience to your pet, and we know they all come with their own special and unique personalities and quirks. We’d love to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible, so if there are any requests you may have we are happy to here them and adhere to what makes the tails happy! I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks and typically take walks throughout the day around a pond by my house! Walks can last as long as you or your pet prefer, but typically I aim for 30-45 minutes. I typically walk during the cooler parts of the day, and will bring water if it’s over 100°out. If the service takes place out of your home I will walk within the neighborhood if possible and stick to shady areas to keep your pet cool and happy! I want you to feel assured that your pet is safe and happy with me and love to snap pics along my route! I apologize if you hear me talking in my squeaky pet voice to your baby in any videos I send, haha!

About: I’ve fostered and rescued cats and dogs for a few years now , every since I was a kid I would bring in strays and help them . I’ve also pet sat for friends and family for a few years as well :) I currently have a job were I make my own schedule so my availability is very open !
