About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3, and caring for them has always come naturally to me! I’ve grown up with two Labs, a Lhasa Apso, and a Maltipoo, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve taken my own dogs on hour-long walks and runs, so I’m more than happy to keep up with high-energy pups who need to burn off some energy. I’ve also been trusted to care for dogs on my own for entire weekends while their owners were out of town, including keeping up with their routines, exercise, feeding, and giving them plenty of attention. About: Hi, it's nice to meet you! I have been raising dogs from puppyhood for the last 12 years, and I LOVE animals. My friends consider me the "dog whisperer" because I tend to be able to connect with even the most stubborn of dogs. I have raised all different sizes and activity levels including Australian Shepherds (I have one now!), Huskies, Dalmatians, German Shepherds, etc. I work from home and my job is flexible, so it is no problem for me to care for your dog and give them lots of love and attention all throughout the day. I have raised all of these from puppyhood, so I am well versed. We have dogs beds all throughout our house, so there are plenty of comfortable places for them to lay too. I work from home full-time, but my job is very flexible and I have essentially raised from puppyhood and had two dogs my whole career. I take lots of breaks to stretch my legs, and go for lots of walks and am very active. I currently have one miniature Australian Shepherd who is 10 years old and easy to get along with. She mostly keeps to herself and is not particularly social, but is very friendly. She typically sleeps/lives outside of a crate, but she was crate trained and I have crate trained all of my dogs. I recently lost a German Shepherd who loved his crate and slept there in the evenings, but I’ve also babysat/hosted many dogs who don't sleep in crates. I'm open to any situation, so long as they are well-behaved, but I'd ask that if they don't do well when you're away to stick to crates! I have baby gates and an easy layout to our house, so very easy to keep them in the living room and make sure they don't get into anything. My yard is fenced with real grass for them to play on in the back. The home is very peaceful and quiet during the day, so I've tended to find that all the dogs we babysit find it relaxing and nap throughout the day with plenty of breaks for potty and attention.

On Fridays, I’m available between 1:00–4:00 PM, and I’m also available Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8:00–11:00 AM. I love having the flexibility to get outside during the day, so dog walking is a perfect fit for my routine! Your dog’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority! I’m a very caring, attentive, and responsible person, and I’ll treat every pup like they’re my own. During walks, I’ll make sure your dog is secure, comfortable, and getting plenty of positive attention while we’re out. I’m mindful of traffic, other dogs, hot weather, and anything else that could affect their safety. I’ll also follow your instructions closely and make sure I understand your dog’s routine, personality, and any specific needs before heading out. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pup is in good hands and getting some fun, loving attention while you’re away!

About: I've been hosting dogs & cats through Rover.com for several years now, and it's been a tremendously rewarding experience. While I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I have only 2 cats right now. They both like dogs, especially my leash-trained therapy cat who likes everybody. The cats are never aggressive, but a very high-energy impolite dog could get a left-hook if they're not careful. Calmer dogs used to cats are a great fit. Take your next vacation with peace of mind; knowing your pooch is safe, happy, and getting plenty of attention and playtime! I have yet to have a guest that didn’t bond to me almost immediately…it’s like they can sense that I am an easy source of belly rubs and treats! Many of my guests drop off and pick up on the way to/from Sky Harbor Airport, which is about 15 minutes away (about 5.5 miles).
