Before boarding: Alani and her families invited us to do meet-and-greet, asked questions about my dog’s usual routines, sent information about other two dogs mine will be staying with ahead of time. During the stay: Alani sent photos and updates daily. Informed me if anything was unusual. They took her to a dog park when the weather got cooler. Pick-up: They were very accommodating while my flight schedules changed. Alani gave me an update on how my dog stay went, anything she noticed, etc. My dog seemed well-played and happy. I felt like they understood how stressful and nervous it can be to part with a pup for extended period, and did everything to help. Alani and her family will always be my first choice to sit my pup going forward. Thank you.”

If needed, I can watch animals at my mom’s house which has a nice, fenced backyard to play in along with 3 others dogs and 2 cats. (Will mention, one cat is more fiesty with other animals, but i will be putting her in a separate space, and the most she could do is claw) I don’t think I would recommend my mom’s home for seniors or puppies due to an overstimulating environment and a 5 year old.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I have a PRN position at a children’s hospital, so I have plenty of time to check in on your baby/babies. I work a short Monday shift from 12-4PM. I have a hybrid pharmacy schedule, so I am able to attend classes from wherever I am. I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.

A noteworthy pet sitting involved caring for a household with one female dog, her six newly born puppies, two adolescent dogs, and a senior dog for a week and a half. About: Every since I was a kid I’ve taken care of my neighbors dogs. With the amount of love I have for animals, I will treat your pet as if it were my own. I do work full time, however most days I work from home so your dog(s) will get plenty of love and attention from me and my dog, Lola! I have a fenced back yard that is full of grass to run around in, and a shaded patio for your dog to lay under. My back door also has a dog door so your dog will be able to head outside at their leisure.
