Sometimes this is with a bribe of freeze-dried chicken (with owner's permission, of course) or just ignoring them as they get used to my presence. If I take dogs on walks, I will need to know their reactivity levels to keep them safe.

My dream is to own an animal sanctuary, and rescue allll the animals. :D I’ve had pets all my life. I frequently take care of friends and neighbors’ pets and livestock. Oftentimes, it's so hard to trust someone you've never met, but please know that your loved one's well-being and your peace of mind is my number one priority. Having 3 dogs and two cats myself (along with rabbits, chickens, and ducks), I understand how scary it can be leaving your fur babies in someone else's care, especially if you haven't met them yet. Please know that I have a huge heart for animals, and they will be babied and pampered and well taken care of. Your home will be treated with respect. If there are any accidents, they will be cleaned promptly. I don't want you to worry while you are away; I will always do my best to give you the best peace of mind possible.

What made it especially challenging there was a thunderstorm overhead when I was gone. She was awesome and sending me pictures and keeping me updated.
