About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”
“We have never used Rover before, but Miriam was wonderful. She took in our 2 dogs as if they were hers. She played with the guys and worked with them to get them to eat (which is no small chore with our guys). She has a wonderful house with a great back yard and our dogs made themselves at home. She sent us pictures and video's of the guys while we were on vacation and shared how they were progressing. It is obvious that she loves dogs and I would not hesitate to book her again if we went out of town. She went above and beyond in her caring for the dogs.”
“I was desperate, my booked boarding was closed down and I found out just days before my trip. I was told of Rover and after joining, Lesley was quick to respond. Our meet and greet went great. My 18 month old heeler is a bit of a rambunctious gal and my older dog can be grouchy. Both dogs got along great with her little mini. I had anxiety about leaving these two anywhere and hadn’t previously boarded them. Lesley assured me all would be well. She was very dog smart and took control of my pup with intent and kindness. The photos were welcome and the dogs had a great time. Thank you so much. When I have to board them in the future Lesley will go to.”

“I'm so grateful to Brandi for taking in my two rambunctious boys. She had some behavior issues she had to address while I was away but handled it like a professional with her veterinary background and gave me a thorough report on when I picked them up. She was kind and caring at all times while still being professional about her expectations and rules. She even sent me photos of my boys while I was gone which was so nice. I feel lucky we found her and plan on bringing the boys back to her again for doggie day care and boarding at her horse property. My doggies are super dusty but happy and well cared for. “Ashley was amazing; she was by far the best dog sitter we've ever had. She showed our dog a great time with several walks and fun outings, she worked on some training with her, and she sent pictures, videos, and updates throughout the time of our vacation. “I couldn’t be happier with the experience Cedar and I had with Christie and Daniel. From the moment I dropped Cedar off, I felt completely at ease. They took the time to ask thoughtful questions about his routine, personality, and preferences, and it was clear right away that they genuinely love and understand dogs. Throughout Cedar’s stay, I received regular updates, pictures, and even a few sweet videos that showed just how comfortable and happy he was. Seeing him playing, relaxing, and getting plenty of attention made it so much easier to be away from him. When I picked him up, they had given him a bath and he clearly had a great time. I could tell he felt safe and well cared for—he even gave a little tail wag goodbye, which says it all! I’m so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and kind boarder for Cedar. “Lara watched our 6 month old puppy Rocky for a night, and we couldn't be more pleased! Did a meet-and-greet and instantly felt comfortable with Lara as she was very friendly and showed me around her whole property. She has a wonderful home and a front and back yard that are both fenced in, allowing our pup plenty of space and freedom to roam and explore! She sent pictures and videos of him having a great time which was very much appreciated and put us at ease for our first time leaving him for a night! Rocky came home tired and happy, and we will certainly be using Lara again! Thank you!”
