“I am so glad I found Shane! I had never left Sadie with a stranger before and knew I wouldn’t be comfortable boarding her in a more institutional setting. Shane offers the dogs in his care a loving, home setting. They pretty much have run of his house (at least his living room and kitchen)! He has large, comfortable beds for them on the floor and a fenced backyard with both sun and shade. He sent me photos of the hikes he took with Sadie in the early evening (when it had cooled down), and of Sadie snuggling with him on the couch. I found Shane to be a good communicator, prompt and clear. He is a dog lover, which is what you want when leaving your dog with someone!”

About: No matter who I'm with or where I am, I stop and say hello to every dog I meet (after confirming with their owner it's ok to pet them). I I love cats too. I'm recently retired. I have two rescue dogs (Woody and Ricky Rooney). Helping someone else with their pet will make me happy since I can't adopt any more dogs right now. I have a completely walled in backyard that my dogs are out in frequently. If I'm taking care of your dog or cat at your home, I will be respectful and make sure they have plenty of water and food and go out to do their business regularly.

About: I've cared for and have raised many types and sizes of pets. I've witnessed both cat and dog deliveries, raised and pet-sat for neighbors, friends and family. I am able to give medications and eye drops. I currently do not have any pets and would enjoy caring for yours. I am dependable, responsible, and will follow your instructions for care. Thank you. I'm currently working part-time in Prescott Valley. However, I live in Prescott. I can walk animals early mornings before 8:00, at lunch, and after work on those days. I am available for sleepovers Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Your home, or mine. 😊 Meals and medications will be provided by you, and given as you request. Pets who sleep over will need to be indoor, as I do not have a fenced yard. If crate, and/or leash animals, pls provide items, including toys.

Not only do animals encourage me to spend more time outdoors, they also lift my spirits. I have yet to meet one whose company or quirks did not bring me enjoyment; from my best friend’s sixty-four slithering snakes, to the most docile (and most dastardly) of llamas. As a child, my favourite playmates were fickle felines, slobber-faced dogs, flopsy rabbits, furry scurriers, flittering birds, flashy fish, and even the occasional amphibian, reptilian, or arthropod to cross my path. Not much has changed since then. Ever-optimistic in my venture to learn more about and care for our beloved companions, I aspire to take courses for animal massage therapy, nutrition, acupressure, and aromatherapy. For now, I am enrolled in basic lessons for the efficient use of essential oils for health benefits. Hopefully this proves to bolster the vitality of our loved ones, and to also honor my endless admiration of plants and animals. I am more than happy to discuss any questions, comments, or concerns regarding your dearest critter’s care, and hope to get to know them a bit better. About: My first dog I got when I was in the 4th grade. She changed my life. Now I’ve never been able to connect with a dog on that level since her but I still love them. & hope some day I will be able to give my kids that. I am a single mom with 3 kids under the age of 6. Adding a fur baby to the mix just isn’t in the cards for me right now. & after this year I’m looking to get back on my feet. So I thought this could be a good way to make some extra money to help us. We are a very active bunch. Love hiking, walking, and pretty much anything outdoors. Like I said before we are always outside. I like to take walks in the morningsevenings. Love hiking. I work from home so I can make my own schedule. Depends on the dog. Just like my kids each one is different. What works for one might not work for the other.
