I also have fostered many dogs including a whole litter of puppies from the Arizona Small Dog Rescue in Phoenix as well as adopted a maltipoo named chopsticks from them. I am someone who works full time working from home. I am flexible throughout the day. During the meet and greet we can discuss schedules. I understand your needs for each animal is different. I want to understand your pets boundaries when I come into their space. I understand how important walks and exercise is for the mental and physical health of any pet. Let me know if walks are needed, playing fetch in the backyard or if going to a dog park is appropriate. Also if you just need some one to snuggle with your pet I can do that there is plenty of me. About: Experience caring for anxious and/or special needs animals (diapers, mobility issues, medication, senior dogs, puppies) both professionally and personally. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting on and off for family friends and neighbors since I was a teenager, but started doing so more professionally in the past 5 years. Most of my experience is with overnight care for dogs (ranging from a single night to a full month at a time) but I’m an animal lover with personal experience caring for every kind of pet imaginable (horses, ferrets, fish, cats, bunnies, reptiles/tortoises). Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness always come first—and I take pride in going the extra distance every time. Because I’m retired, pet care is not something I squeeze into a busy schedule—it is my daily routine and priority. My day naturally revolves around the pets I’m caring for. Morning visits typically include feeding, potty breaks, walks, litter box care, and a calm check-in to make sure everyone is comfortable. Throughout the day, I plan my time around each pet’s needs, whether that’s medication schedules, exercise, playtime, or simply companionship for pets who prefer not to be alone. In the evenings, I do another round of feeding, exercise, and settling pets into their nighttime routine so they feel safe and relaxed overnight. For overnight stays, I maintain a consistent presence in the home so pets can stay in their normal environment with minimal disruption. On a weekly basis, I also schedule meet-and-greets, take on new bookings, and make sure I’m fully prepared for each pet’s individual routine before their stay begins. Since this is my full focus, I’m able to provide consistent, attentive, and reliable care without rushing or dividing my attention between other work commitments. I have extensive experience as a pet owner, volunteer at a shelter for over five years, and as a foster parent of multiple dogs over the years, I bring a lot of experience and proven ability to care for your pet as they deserve. I fully understand the great responsibility that you are entrusting me with to care for your loved ones. Attitude matters!
