About: I’m a current volunteer and foster with Out of the Woods Animal Rescue, a previous veterinary clinic assistant and I have had a variety of animals in my life since childhood. I have experience in breed research from my previous job with Cuddle Clones, LLC. Because of this, I understand the quirks and sensitivities of many different dog breeds. In my own home, I have four dogs and five cats, so I can handle most animals. However, they have to be cat and dog friendly. I have certification in; Cat and Kitten Care, Animal Care, and Pet Adoption Practices. Whether small animals or reptiles, kitties, or pooches I can handle any task you ask of me. Once upon a time, I was a Grooming Assistant and Sales Associate with Petco and I received animal handling training as a docent with the Little Rock Zoo. I'm acquainted with many different animal personalities. I hope that you will consider me for the care of your pet! Currently, I work in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays, then I am home the rest of the week. This may change from time to time, but this is usually the norm. About: I took care of animals ever since I was a kid and I have owned my own since I was 18. I've always had a big heart for animals. I believe they should be treated just as any other family member. My husband and I only work part-time so we will be able to love on them and spend time with your animals throughout the day and night. My Experience - From the time I was born I was raised with animals.Throughout the years, I've owned 6 different dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 7 ducks, 12 chickens, 1 beta fish and 1 hamster. My Dog - I rescued a Yorkie from a puppy mill in July of 2018. I named her Franky and we've been inseperable since! My Approach - I prefer to use positive reinforcement and treats when training a dog to obey commands. I can give your pet all of the pets and cuddles but can also respect their space if they’re more independent. I am flexible with pet care, but would prefer to have at least three days notice to work around my schedule. I am able to do local services as well as services within the same state. If I must travel for overnight services, I would like at least a week notice. I am unable to hold a traditional job now, so I decided to help others and their pets instead. I have one Pomsky who’s a little brat, but he’s the sweetest thing. My rescued German shepherd had to be put down recently due to MRSA. He had more medical issues than you can probably name. Because of this, I am pretty well versed in helping dogs with crazy medical conditions. If you have any questions, please don’t be shy to ask! 💕 Due to my military medical retirement, I have more time on my hands than most people. Unable to hold a regular job now, pet care is easily the most enjoyable thing for me. I just moved to an apartment downtown Little Rock, since homes are so expensive now days. Due to this move, there’s a high possibility I would have to bring my Pinsky with me. He is very playful and has never had any issues with other dogs or cats. He is also crate trained and potty trained. I added boarding and day-sitting for those special situations some people may have. Having a dog who had very special requirements for care and weird schedules required for care, I completely understand that there are some people who struggle to find the right sitter or just any help at all. So I’ll seldomly accept boarding/doggy day-care for those who are okay with their pup inside an apartment.

In case of a medical emergency I have multiple vet clinics in close proximity to my home.I understand the importance of taking care of your babies as that’s how I will treat them. I will love your dogs and your dogs will love me :) My schedule is flexible. I work from home and my wife and/or mother-in-law will be home with your baby if I need to attend a meeting or work call. We are available to boarding or daycare everyday unless the calendar is blocked out for those dates. Safety is number one priority in our house. No door will be open until a leash is put on.
