About: I have had all size dogs since I was 12. I love that they love you unconditionally. I enjoy walking my dogs, and I can't help but laugh when they get the zoomies. I always try to be patient when they are unsure or need to take medicine. I work full time, but I am available in the evenings and weekends. I am available to come to your house to take of your animals needs. Your animal can also come my house for the weekend if needed. Please schedule in advance. I prefer to do a meet and greet, since I also have two rambunctious kids. I have two small sociable dogs that are both fixed. They stay in the kennel when I am at work, but when my husband has a break he will let them out. I have a large backyard that that is fenced in, and my neighborhood has sidewalks to walk dogs. My household is also high energy, but also love snuggle time and belly rubs.

She is our go to regular sitter for our cat, and we always are extremely pleased with her and how well she cares for our baby, but this most recent time she truly went above and beyond for us. We got stranded in our travels because of the snow storm and she not only was able to stay with her for extra days, but the hvac unit also went out and our house lost heat! The temps dropped dangerously low and she helped us to troubleshoot the system for HOURS! Unfortunately the problem had to do with something outside our control and we needed to find an HVAC technician who could solve it. She stayed with our cat despite the cold and helped the hvac technician gain access to the house, answering questions as they arose, and worked with him until everything was fixed! She also made sure to drop the faucets and do everything she could to keep the house warm. She not only cared for our cat but she also saved our house from freezing pipes! Maintaining my dogs hydration and heat temperament is priority number one now that the weather is getting warmer. People forget that when animals exercise, they do it with a fur coat on. I spray my dogs down with cool water if we are going to be doing any strenuous exercise in the summer. I hope to complete schooling to be a certified trainer soon. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years. My first baby was Kramer (cockapoo) and now I have a big boy named Koda (Golden Retriever). I love all pets, but specifically dogs. They are so loving, loyal, and kind, and I love to give that to them in return. I work as a professor at an university and usually done around 1pm each day, so I can let the babies out for their afternoon/evening potty breaks. I am also free for the summer due to school letting out, so I will have way more free time from May until the middle of August to give your baby attention any time of day. Everyone goes out again, then we rest. Dinner is served in the evenings and after we go out to potty again. (I am able to accommodate to younger pups or dogs with medical issues) I do have three friendly dogs and one kitty. All new pets are slowly introduced to my three dogs. One at a time. after everyone if aware of each other, then its time to play!

My Experience - From the time I was born I was raised with animals.Throughout the years, I've owned 6 different dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 7 ducks, 12 chickens, 1 beta fish and 1 hamster. My Dog - I rescued a Yorkie from a puppy mill in July of 2018. I named her Franky and we've been inseperable since! My Approach - I prefer to use positive reinforcement and treats when training a dog to obey commands. I can give your pet all of the pets and cuddles but can also respect their space if they’re more independent. I am flexible with pet care, but would prefer to have at least three days notice to work around my schedule. I am able to do local services as well as services within the same state. If I must travel for overnight services, I would like at least a week notice. I've had several Chow Chows and a Great Dane and they all lived happy full lives until they unfortunately passed away from old age. I also use to house sit for my aunt since she traveled a lot and she had a special needs dog and several cats so I do have experience in that field. My family's ranch out in Weatherford, Texas is home to over 25 dogs that I normally take care of when I'm out there every once in awhile!
