“Derek accepted my request to sit for my new 5mo pup while I had to travel for work for 3 weeks (which last minute became 4 weeks) and he was nothing short of fantastic the entire time. He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!). About: I’ve taken care of all my family pets and my coaches pets when they were out of town. Your pet will be well taken care of. No worries they are in great hands. I’m working part time so I have all the time to pay attention to the specific caring and handling of your prize possessions. I’m available for night calls as well if you want to get away for a while I’m available. I have a lot of things that dogs would love in my home. From various snacks to toys and anything your pet may need I will provide. I keep my training sessions short. Although training classes are often one hour long, that's not the goal for at-home sessions. I also have to Spread training throughout the day, use rewards other than food and I won’t let walks go to waste. My family used to rescue dogs and rehome them, so I have experience with a wide range of breeds from Great Danes to Yorkies to all kinds of kitties as well as a range of ages from newborns to seniors. About: When I was a child, I used to bring home all kind of animals. I used to find injured animals and bring them home so I can take care of them. Even as an adult, I used to find puppies. or they found me and find good homes for them. I found a dog once they had a massive collar embedded in their neck. I healed the dog and found her a good home. I enjoy all animals. I’ve wanted a dog for a while, but in the midst of planning for moving. So it’s not in the cards right now. About: I have had many animals over the years and still have many. I love dogs and cats, but all animals are worthy of great care. I have volunteered at the humane society and dealt with all types of needs for pets. I have had puppies in my house and have a knack for training. I am currently not working and would love to help people care for their pets. I have been driving for uber but am not able to anymore. I am available to work around your schedule and do what is needed for you and your pets In my home there are 4 dogs and 4.5 cats. .5 because my daughter adopted an outdoor stray that now sleeps in her room and has become part of our family. We also have fish and a gecko now, but in the past we have had almost every domestic pet you can think of. 😃

About: Ever since I was a little girl I was called “Dr. Do-little!” So once I was able to I started working in the veterinary field! I started working in the kennel, walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding, play times and extra snuggles with the cats. About: I'm an early bird so morning walks are always in; Sir Connor (Rest In Dog Paradise ) he was a shih tzu mixed. He was not neutered, because I wanted grand fur babies at the time. I have fostered over a dozen dogs and a handful of cats. Daisy May was an extra addition to the family while I was fostering a puppy I called Maxwell; Maxwell has been adopted by a caring couple! Daisy May is currently the only dog I have so far. Sitting Schedule: Breakfast is at 10:30. I'm reading on how to train dogs and so treats would be ideal for play time! Dinner is severed at 7:30 I feed twice a day. If I have your dog on the weekend, they get to go on a field trip to Overton Park or Mud Island Dog Park. They also get enrichment time with pet toys and snacks! I also groom on the weekend. I mostly had dogs as pets; I rescued a cat and named him Jeffery and he was adopted by a loving family. Animals have always been part of my family, and I truly love caring for fur babies of all ages and personalities. I treat every pet like my own, with patience, affection, attention, cuddles, and lots of love. I understand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m known in my community for taking care of friends’ pets when they’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, supervision, walks, and companionship throughout the day. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood and love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved. My home is very pet-friendly, I have a large, fenced in backyard, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my daily life. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets are treated like family. I have a secure fenced-in backyard with plenty of green space for dogs to safely play, explore, and get exercise. Pets will receive lots of attention, supervision, affection, walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m happy to follow each pet owner’s routines, feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special preferences to help pets feel comfortable and secure. If needed, I can also crate pets according to the owner’s instructions and comfort level.
About: Hi, i’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve had dogs or cats for as long as i can remember and always been very involved. I enjoy talking my dogs on long walks and teaching them new tricks. I have experience with both puppies and animals with medical issues. specifically cats, so i have experience administering medication both injected and orally as well as working with disabilities. I’d love to help take care do your furry loved one and make you feel at ease that your best friend is in good hands! Im currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to take your pet on walks, to go out for potty breaks and simply give them lots of love! I always go by the pet parents wants, so if that’s crate training i’m with you or if you prefer I would love to have your pet just hang out with me and play with toys or snuggle!
About: I believe that every dog just wants to be loved. Dogs can teach you a lot about yourself. Patience, love and care are a few lessons and traits dogs will instantly make a part of your everyday life. My most recent baby was adopted and I have enjoyed the absolute joy of him appreciating his every day life. You can Find more love in yourself just from the wag of a tail. I will eventually start a foundation that helps rescue dogs and place them in a more lovable home. After all, no dog deserves to be left alone. About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life. I love animals. I've taken care of elderly, special needs and hyper active animals. I love meeting different and fun personalities. Everyone is welcomed. I'm employed full-time. I normally don't leave home before 7 and I return home for lunch. I'm usually home for the evening by 4pm. Weekends, I am available 24/7. Your pet will be leashed for daily walks and potty breaks. I normally take a stroll around the block so they can smell around and see new sights. Inside the home they will be free to roam, as long as they are friendly with any other furry friends.
About: I've always taken care of pets since I was at least 12 I've pet sitted, I've walked dogs for elderly owners,I've ran errands such as taking the dog to the groomers for people who cannot take them themselves. I've pet sat for a family over 2 years and I also have done overnight sitting wether It be my home or the pet owners home, if the furry one needs meds I also administer it if the furry parent is fine with it. I have an apartment so it's pretty small but I always take the furry one's to a dog park and walk them and play with them they seem to enjoy a more open concept ( if pet parents are fine with it) than a fenced yard and they have more fun. I run with them in the mornings and evenings(if staying overnight). I also have kids and will not sit or stay with a pet who is not welcoming of kids I'm a hardworking mother so of my kids aren't welcomed I cant provide a service. I currently am free for all services that are needed should I start a different schedule I will let pet parents know if changes arise. I live in an apartment with no fenced yards but I only walk furry ones on leashes I take some pets to parks if comfortable.

“Derek accepted my request to sit for my new 5mo pup while I had to travel for work for 3 weeks (which last minute became 4 weeks) and he was nothing short of fantastic the entire time. He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!). Derek was my first experience with Rover and I don't plan to seek out any other sitter unless Derek is unavailable, and he will my first recommendation to anyone else to need a sitter in Memphis.
