About: Welcome to my Rover! I’m 26 years old and a lifelong animal lover. Growing up, I had the most amazing boxer rescue named Duke, and through my teenage years and young adulthood another rescue Munson, who was a black lab/pit bull mix. Currently mom to two fur babies Dexter and Koda, a black cat and a tuxedo cat. Aside from my primary occupation, I’m a very active person and love being outside. I’m a lifelong animal shelter volunteer and have worked with animals from newborn to elderly, perfect health to less than, anxiety, etc. I understand the obligations of everyday pet parents and am more than happy to meet and provide top tier care and support for your fur babies! I am currently working out a full-time schedule as I work remotely and am offering short-term care for the time being. All drop-ins, walks, and sittings will be accepted case by case. I am alright to do some travel for small to mid/large dogs, if they need some park time, or even if you are looking to have them taken somewhere and can’t swing by home to grab them! Currently have no pets (they had to stay back home with parents 😢) and willing to take a small animal for a weekender stay in my apartment if they have a kennel. In the event that I do I can only take them for a weekend due to apartment style living not being as suitable for a dog. However while they are here, I am able to walk them quite a bit in this area; Heights has great walkability. Most of my care would be for you at your home, walking, sitting, pickup, etc. If they like to grab treats, interact with people, etc. I can find an arrangement either you that works best for your pet. I have friends nearby who have had rescues, elderly pets, and love animals, so they would love to meet and greet and give your animal some love and plenty of attention

My Experience - From the time I was born I was raised with animals.Throughout the years, I've owned 6 different dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 7 ducks, 12 chickens, 1 beta fish and 1 hamster. My Dog - I rescued a Yorkie from a puppy mill in July of 2018. I named her Franky and we've been inseperable since! My Approach - I prefer to use positive reinforcement and treats when training a dog to obey commands. I can give your pet all of the pets and cuddles but can also respect their space if they’re more independent. I am flexible with pet care, but would prefer to have at least three days notice to work around my schedule. I am able to do local services as well as services within the same state. If I must travel for overnight services, I would like at least a week notice. After she received a treat and everything was good. Kristen sent clips show she was petting her. I will use Kristen again for Mrs Allie. I got a chance to relax on my trip and not worry about Ms. Allie.”

“Once again, Pepper had a great time at Jackie’s house. She always looks healthy and well taken care of when I pick her up. She sees Jackie’s house as a second home and hides when I come to get her because she doesn’t want to leave. I truly believe any pet is lucky to stay here and any pet parent will appreciate the love and care Jackie gives their pet for your peace of mind while you’re away.”

I always used boarding facilities. I think this is better for him instead of sitting in a kennel all the time. I would definitely go to her again if we need.”

Rambo can be a bit much at first, but Asia went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and at home. She kept me updated with daily photos and messages, showing Rambo relaxing, playing, and getting lots of love. It was clear he wasn’t just being watched—he was being cared for like family. She even noticed his food was getting low and made sure he was still fed, and took the extra time to keep up with his routine. When I picked Rambo up, he was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. It honestly felt like he had been on a mini vacation of his own. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with him again with her family—they are reliable, and very kind. Highly recommend 10/10!”
