About: I took care of animals ever since I was a kid and I have owned my own since I was 18. I've always had a big heart for animals. I believe they should be treated just as any other family member. My husband and I only work part-time so we will be able to love on them and spend time with your animals throughout the day and night. About: I've cared for animals since I was a preteen, having my own dog since 2013—well versed in all things dog, and I live less than five minutes from the nearest 24-hour emergency vet clinic. My pets are my life! I have a cat (10 lbs, female) and a dog (small terrier, 15 lbs, female) who are both spayed and socialized with other animals. The dog, Chanel, is especially fond of other dogs who are friendly, regardless of size. My cat's name is Ellie, a domestic shorthair, and she mostly stays away when there's another dog over. I have fostered dogs and kittens with local rescue groups as well as Little Rock Animal Village (LRAV). I am also a registered volunteer with LRAV. I'm currently working from home for the most part, other than going to a client meeting sometimes. I have cameras throughout the downstairs, where the animals will stay if I am gone. However, I spend quite a lot of time at home, which places me in a great position to be available to care for my pets and any guests I'm caring for, be it a foster, overnight or a board. I have a fenced-in yard, can go outside with the dogs, and I have a neighborhood that's walkable if that's a needed service. If I'm caring in a client's home, I go by their instructions and do not mind being flexible and keeping lines of communication open. I am familiar with puppy energy, older dog needs, and the social interaction that your furry fam requires and their individual personalities that require a unique individual approach. In the event that I do I can only take them for a weekend due to apartment style living not being as suitable for a dog. However while they are here, I am able to walk them quite a bit in this area; Heights has great walkability. Most of my care would be for you at your home, walking, sitting, pickup, etc. If they like to grab treats, interact with people, etc. I can find an arrangement either you that works best for your pet. About: I’ve been pet sitting for my friends and family for about 2 years! I also have two dogs and have always been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve been working at a doggy daycare for almost 2 years now, so I have plenty experience in pet care! I currently just work as a part time employee and part time student. I do get about a 1 to 2 hour break in-between shifts. I also am able to get up early in the mornings before heading to school and work. I don’t work Saturdays or Tuesdays, so those days I’m very flexible! I’m normally able to move my schedule around to try and be flexible, I just normally need 2 weeks in advance to fix that flexibility! I currently live in an apartment, but I walk my two dogs on my off days about every 2 hours. When I’m working I just take my dogs with me to work so they have plenty of run around room! I also use treat puzzles or squeaky toys to keep them entertained and going! I always enjoy taking pets out for rides in the car, I always ask first before taking any dog anywhere that isn’t mine. My older dog can be a little snappy, so I don’t bring him around any of the dogs I dog sit. My younger dog is very playful however and loves everyone! Shes always looking for another playmate. My Experience - From the time I was born I was raised with animals.Throughout the years, I've owned 6 different dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 7 ducks, 12 chickens, 1 beta fish and 1 hamster. My Dog - I rescued a Yorkie from a puppy mill in July of 2018. I named her Franky and we've been inseperable since! My Approach - I prefer to use positive reinforcement and treats when training a dog to obey commands. I can give your pet all of the pets and cuddles but can also respect their space if they’re more independent. I am flexible with pet care, but would prefer to have at least three days notice to work around my schedule. I am able to do local services as well as services within the same state. If I must travel for overnight services, I would like at least a week notice. I do not currently offer daycare or sitting within my home, but I am available to come to you in the event that you book with me!
About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. Growing up with a dog by my side taught me how to understand, care for, and connect with them in a way that feels completely natural. Being around dogs isn't just something I do—it's something I've known my whole life. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, learning their unique personalities, and making sure they feel loved, safe, and happy while you're away. Every dog deserves care that feels like home, and that's exactly what I strive to provide. I currently work Monday-Friday (8am-5pm). I can take care of pets after 5pm and on the weekends. We can arrange timing if needed. Thank you! I have a very spacious loft downtown I can have them in. Also have space for kennels if needed. Lots of parks near by and sidewalks to walk them.
