About: Personal experience taking care of dogs for over 10 years. Including walking, feeding, and bathing family and neighbors’ pets. Managed care of newborn puppies as well as sick, special needs dogs. Took care feeding and administering medicine as well as caring for older dogs. I’m currently a student at LSU with a relaxed schedule so I can take care of your pets in my home for boarding or drop-ins! Afternoons work best for me for dog-walking. I live in an apartment with enough space for your pets to rest and relax. My apartment complex is big and walkable with a dog park to entertain your pets.
“Not sure where to start. I’ve been very nervous about leaving my 8 month old boxer with anyone. She’s a rescue, she’s skiddish at times, we aren’t sure of her history, whether she’s been hit, yelled at, punished, or abused in any way. We wanted her treated like we treat her; she’s one of our babies. I immediately felt at easy when we met Ally, Chole was at ease, it was so easy for us to leave her with Ally. We knew getting a puppy was going to keep us from our travel plans unless we took her with us because Chole freaks out in her crate if left alone. We now feel that if we want to travel we have found our person. Chole was entertained and got the attention she demands from you. Easy drop off and easy pickup. About: I’ve had pets ever since I was a baby. I also volunteer with local shelters off and on and deal with pets from all backgrounds. Don’t know if this is a plus but I’ve also taken care of bears at a sanctuary before! I work full time, so I can tend to your pets before work, and after work! I usually work from 7-330 5 days on and 2 days off. I prefer to stay at a clients home. I take tedious notes from pet owners before they leave and I usually try to schedule a visit beforehand with their pets to make sure they will like me.

I've house sat for locals and fed their pets and even met early to write down a schedule of what needed to be done. I did extra and gathered their papers and/or mail so they didn't get wet or lost. I have a fenced yard with about a quarter acre to run around in. Plenty of shade and a kiddie pool to splash around in. I have one very well trained and neutral/friendly dog in the house currently and one cat that is very dog savvy and knows to stay out of the way. I can easily crate if needed and live two minutes from the walking trails for easy exercise and care. I pride myself on leaving a home cleaner then I found it and having it appear that I was never there in the first place!

I keep a fairly tidy home where the biggest messes are merely the signs of children that enjoyed playing all day. If your pup has a hard time resisting small toys to chew, my home may not be the best choice for them. I do not smoke, however I do use incense and essential oils and a friend who visits often does vape. If your pet will be boarded here in my home, I will refrain from use in the open areas and limit diffusing to enclosed rooms away from your animal for their safety. We have a very laid back family and animals are welcome on the living room furniture while they stay. I will do my best to help them feel at home!

About: Hi My name is Tamie, I am married to the love of my life for 40 years. I have years of experience with my own pets. I have 4 dogs, 4 cats and 2 horses. Our furry kiddos are part of our family and they know it. I also have worked 8 years at a vet clinic. I have trained horses for years. I am a self employed, work from home. I have a flexible schedule to fit your pets needs. I am all about getting you pet out for walks, playing ball or frisbee. Or just giving some cuddle time. With my years of vet experience I have an eye for recognizing issues that might arise as well. I do offer feeding options, playing fetch, walking, of coarse lots of pets and belly rubs!! I do however believe in manners. I think rewards rather it be treats or pets and love are a great tool. I also believe that all energy should be applied positive , such as daily walks, playtime etc. If not energy can go to negative behaviors. I will not care for dogs that are aggressive. I am willing to come meet the dogs or cats prior to visits
About: I have always been around animals!! I have lived a farm life and a city life. I enjoy taking care of many different types of animals, especially cats , dogs, and recently had some hands on learning experiences with otters! I have skills working with special needs animals that have seizures to not having some of their limbs. I hold a special place in my heart for all fur babies. Pet care is my full time job :). Lots of flexibility and time for your pets. My availability will be 24/7. Whatever is convenient for you. I do live an in apartment. You can come to me or I can come to you. I have my little dog that will probably be coming with me for animals that might need a play partner. My home is kept clean and pet friendly. All chemicals are always put up high. I supply puppy pads, kitty litter, toys while at my home.
About: I like dogs and I'm good at caring for them. I'm responsible and nurturing. We have two dogs, Olive and Lady. I'd love to meet you and your babies. I would feed them and care for them before work and after. I would also be willing to stop by on my lunchbreak. We can work out the details together. I play with them on leashes outside or in fenced in areas. I will change water, feed, and give treats as needed. I can spend time there at the home with your pet as requested.
About: I have over ten years of experience in pet sitting/house sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and the neighboring community. I've taken care of a wide variety of animals, ranging from dogs and cats to some more infrequent ones like fish, birds, horses, hedgehogs, kangaroo mice, turtles, and even tarantulas. I would love to continue my work experience with future clients and friends through Rover. Even though I am a full-time student, pet care is a daily routine for me. My work schedule varies from week to week, but I will update my availabilities accordingly. My care for pets varies depending on the type of pet and the needs that are asked of me, but no matter what, I make sure every pet has the food, water, shelter, and love it needs. I will only board select pets in my home due to my current pet's needs, but I would be extremely happy to take care of your pet's needs in their own environment where they may feel more comfortable and at ease.

About: I have been blessed with fur babies my entire life, big and small, young and old love them all!! Yours will have the "run" of the house with Toby Im a retired stay at home dog mom. My big boy loves new fur friends and is a gentle giant even with small dogs too. I have a fenced yard or can leash walk if you prefer. I have outdoor cameras as well as in door to keep close eye on them.

“Not sure where to start. I’ve been very nervous about leaving my 8 month old boxer with anyone. She’s a rescue, she’s skiddish at times, we aren’t sure of her history, whether she’s been hit, yelled at, punished, or abused in any way. We wanted her treated like we treat her; she’s one of our babies. I immediately felt at easy when we met Ally, Chole was at ease, it was so easy for us to leave her with Ally. We knew getting a puppy was going to keep us from our travel plans unless we took her with us because Chole freaks out in her crate if left alone. We now feel that if we want to travel we have found our person. Chole was entertained and got the attention she demands from you. Easy drop off and easy pickup. I’ll definitely recommend and use Ally again!”
About: I have 5 years of dog handling experience, it’s not about just walking a dog or playing with a dog it’s knowing how to go about and do it properly. My life for the last 3 years has been this. I love it, I also understand that no 2 dogs are the same and every dog needs something different, I’m equipped to offer any care your fur baby may need. I also have tons of experience bathing and clipping nails. I’m very versatile in the dog world and I’ve worked with them all. I’d love to care for your pet(s). Thank you much for considering! I currently have a job in dog care but trying to give extra time to rover. Week days are good, things change from week to week but can make time for any pets, if this goes good I want this full time until it grows bigger! I have a fenced yard so I will play with your pups and give them attention! I have 4 dogs of my own whom are all pet friendly, if your pup is not that’s completely fine. I have areas so they will never have to meet. I will always give the attention to your pup if deciding to board in home!
