About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, structure, and attention I bring to every animal I look after. I take a lot of pride in providing excellent care for my own pets, and I treat every animal in my care with that same level of love and responsibility. I’ve had dogs of my own for over 4 years, and even before that, I was trusted to care for multiple dogs belonging to friends and family. Through that experience, I’ve learned how important consistency, safety, and intentional care are for keeping pets happy and stress-free. I provide a structured, safe environment while still making sure each pet feels comfortable, loved, and understood. I also have experience caring for cats, so I’m comfortable working with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority, and I’m committed to making sure they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a huge part of my daily life. My routine truly revolves around my animals. I already structure my days around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure my pets are happy, healthy, and well cared for. Because of that, adding pet care for others fits very naturally into my weekly routine. I have plenty of time, flexibility, and attention to give, so I’m able to be very present and intentional with every pet I care for. Whether it’s sticking to a specific schedule, providing exercise, or just giving them extra love and attention, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I live in a house with two dogs of my own and about 2 cleared acres, giving plenty of space for safe, supervised outdoor time. While my property isn’t fenced, I’m very mindful about safety and always use leashes, harnesses, or close supervision. My neighborhood is also great for walks, and I have a park nearby that I love taking dogs to for extra exercise and enrichment. I’m fully equipped with supplies like leashes, harnesses, crates, and bowls, so I can easily meet each pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize respect, consistency, and attention to detail. I follow all instructions closely to maintain your pet’s normal routine and comfort. I’m very mindful of your space and always aim to leave your home even better than I found it. Most importantly, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Jean is honestly the best! I work 12 hour shifts and my normal dog walker canceled at the last minute. I contacted Jean one day, and the next afternoon she came over to let my baby out for me. In addition to taking him for a walk, she sent me pictures and gave me much-needed updates about him an accident he had. I will definitely be using her services again!

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for cats and currently share my home with three of my own. Two are happy indoor companions, while my third is harness-trained and enjoys going on walks and even joining me on outings in a carrier backpack — so I’m very comfortable working with cats who have unique personalities, enrichment needs, or established routines. I understand that cats thrive on consistency and a calm environment. I take time to learn each cat’s individual preferences, whether that means interactive play, quiet companionship, maintaining litter box routines, or simply respecting a more independent personality. I’m experienced with kittens as well as adult and senior cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications when needed. My goal is always to reduce stress while you’re away by keeping your cat’s routine familiar and providing attentive, gentle care tailored specifically to them. I prioritize a calm, low-stress environment and let each cat set the pace for interaction and care.

About: **About me** My name is Jamie and I grew up on a farm with a multitude of animals, and in my early twenties worked as a property manager for a horse farm and a veterinary technician for almost five years. Currently I work in research for National Geographic, have a very flexible schedule, and would love to watch your pets! I'm comfortable with "difficult" pets (working with animals while they're at the vet is no easy feat!) and can give any type of medication. **About my home/services** Happy to provide home and farm sitting - I am comfortable with all types of livestock (horses, sheep, chickens, cows, goats, etc) as well as pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles). I can also board your pet on my own property on a case by case basis. I currently work part time, remotely, so have plenty of time to spend with your animals - I love getting to know them and their unique personalities. Growing up caring for a variety of animals, as well as working in veterinary medicine, has given me a unique skillset in keeping your pets safe and well cared for.

Lori always keeps Macy for us but this time she also kept our Aussie Doodle puppy as well. Fortunately for her it was only for the day because Elvis is a handful. But Lori loves all dogs and really took care of both the dogs. She sent me regular updates and pictures and that made me feel at ease.

I will treat your pet as if they were my own! Also have experience with fostering! I update my availability on the calendar as I go. I work a full time job that has a rotating shift. More often than not, I have 3 consecutive days off I have two friendly dogs that can keep your fur baby company, and have the means to crate as needed. They will receive lots of love and attention, and treated just as if they were one of my own! I also do volunteer work for a rescue, so more often than not, I do have a foster dog in my home.

About: I grew up with plenty of cats and dogs in and outside the home. At 12, I started a "business" dog walking and learning how to give shots to a diabetic cat. For a few years I also worked with 4Pawed Redemption, a veteran-run non-profit designed to help rehome military family pets. I also successfully trained my own pup to qualify as a service animal to help a friend in need, but care doesn't stop with dogs! I've also helped with ferrets, snakes, tortoises and parakeets before-just please no tarantulas! Hope you find the help you're looking for :) Currently working part-time before going to college in August, but I have plenty of time to work around nearly any schedule within my range, and with most addresses in Batesville I can even visit the local dog park! I always ask up front about any allergies or sensitivities your pet might have, in addition to what training they have gone through and their everyday personality. By knowing how they usually act, I'm better able to help them with any signs of nervousness or anxiety and adjust their care accordingly, so it's not just about food and water with me :)

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and currently share my home with three dogs and three cats of my own. Animals have always been central to my life, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. In addition to lifelong pet ownership, I have extensive experience in dog rescue. At one point I was actively caring for and rehabilitating 14 dogs at once, working with animals from a variety of backgrounds, temperaments, and medical needs. That experience taught me patience, strong observation skills, and how to quickly recognize changes in behavior or health. I’m comfortable caring for pets at every life stage — energetic puppies and kittens, adult animals with established routines, and seniors who need extra time and compassion. I also have hands-on experience with special needs pets, including administering medications, maintaining detailed care schedules, and assisting animals with mobility challenges. Most recently, I cared for a senior pit bull with hind-end weakness who required lifting assistance to stand and walk, along with consistent medication management. Providing calm, steady support for pets who need extra help is something I truly enjoy. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine familiar and low-stress while providing dependable care, lots of affection, and clear communication so you always know how things are going at home. I treat every pet as if they were my own and provide regular photo and message updates so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I currently work part-time as a work-from-home contractor, which allows me a very flexible schedule and makes it easy to adapt my day around pet care needs. Because I’m home much of the time, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular check-ins, and reliable care throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for to ensure feeding times, walks, medication schedules, and companionship needs are met without disruption. Whether it’s short visits, overnight stays, or extended care, I’m able to adjust my routine to prioritize your pet’s comfort and consistency. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine and environment as closely as possible to reduce stress. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any specific behavioral or medical guidelines. I approach each home with respect and responsibility, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. I understand the importance of trust when someone is caring for both your pets and your space, and I communicate regularly so you always know how things are going. With experience caring for animals of all ages—including rescues, seniors, and pets with special medical needs—I’m comfortable adapting to whatever level of care is required. My goal is always to provide calm, attentive care so your pets feel safe, understood, and well cared for in your absence.
