“While I would like to gate-keep this wonderful family and not share them, I must! They have kept my Mabel for about 6 weeks over the course of the 6 months I’ve had her. She LOVES them. She loves their dog. They may honestly be the sweetest family on earth. They give immediate updates with pictures, but they also understand if you can’t check in with them constantly. The first time they kept her, I accidentally left them with an issue with her. I was already headed to the airport so I was stuck. They handled it like she was their dog. I know they treat her so well . I just can’t say enough about this sweet family. I also had a 15 hr flight delay. When I let them know, they acted like it wasn’t 2 days before Christmas and I could come whenever I got home. (Even suggested that I rest first). Your pets will be in safe,loving hands with this family. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. ( ( I drive about 40 minutes each way to get her to them and I would drive 3 hours each way without hesitation!”

They live on a dirt road surrounded by woods and have a small farm of chickens, bunnies, and goats. They took the dogs out several times for walks in the woods near there home. Growing up, my mom was a wildlife rehabilitator for Arkansas Game and Fish, so I learned early on how to nurse injured and sick animals back to health with patience and compassion. From bottle feeding baby animals to helping with their recovery, I developed a deep respect for all creatures. In 2020, I began working with my stepmom at a petting zoo, where I had the amazing opportunity to train under a veterinarian. There, I learned how to administer medication, care for injuries, and provide emergency treatments like fluids and splints. I also worked at a busy doggy daycare, caring for up to 40 dogs daily and providing overnight care for boarders. Ginny came over to meet them before we went, she sent us updates every visit and kept us informed of everything (with lots of pics). There was an issue with the coop water (an issue from a pipe freezing - nothing from her actions) and she disconnected it and made it safe, and did extra work due to the fact it broke. Our chickens and ducks had clean water everyday and a clean filled pond, and our cats were happy and well cared for the whole time. Most of our cats are very shy, and were clearly happy and comfortable when we returned. We didn't have a single worry with her looking after everyone, and we would definitely use her again!”

When your pet is staying with us you can trust they’ll be treated like one of our own. About: I am doing school online at the moment and work for the state. I am in a family of four I have my mom, dad, and my special needs brother I help out a lot with. I have five dogs that I call my fur babies, and one cat that I might as well call a dog. I call her a dog just because she eats dog food lol. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, we’ve always had 4 legged fluff balls included in my family. I currently have a boxer/catahoula mix whose name is Apollo but I call him derp, he’s the best thing since sliced bread. I’ve only been dog/house sitting for about 3ish years as my friends and even regulars at the bar I work at have asked me to sit for them. My parents also work at hounds hideaway that has a vet built in so if anything were to happen all it would take is a phone call and we’d be set! Rest assured, your baby is in good hands. My schedule is currently open to do drop ins anytime of the day and to house sit. I’m currently waiting on my new job to give me hours and I will keep this updated. My Apollo is 8 years old so he’s a lil bit of an old man and is typically pretty lazy, but I take him for lots of walks and spoil him with treats and luvins. The first time they kept her, I accidentally left them with an issue with her. I was already headed to the airport so I was stuck. They handled it like she was their dog. I know they treat her so well . I just can’t say enough about this sweet family. I also had a 15 hr flight delay. When I let them know, they acted like it wasn’t 2 days before Christmas and I could come whenever I got home. (Even suggested that I rest first). About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom was a wildlife rehabilitator for Arkansas Game and Fish, so I learned early on how to nurse injured and sick animals back to health with patience and compassion. From bottle feeding baby animals to helping with their recovery, I developed a deep respect for all creatures. In 2020, I began working with my stepmom at a petting zoo, where I had the amazing opportunity to train under a veterinarian. There, I learned how to administer medication, care for injuries, and provide emergency treatments like fluids and splints. About: I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends since I was 14 years old. I was relied on me to keep their dogs over night, feed, bathe, play with and take them walks. I am currently a grad student at UCA. I have class from 8-11 and get to come home for an hour for lunch. I then go to work in the clinic from 1:30-4 or 5 I then come back home and get to spend the rest of.l the evening with dogs.
