About: I’m a University of Arkansas graduate and a lifelong dog lover, and caring for dogs has become a big part of my life. I have my own dog, who I got after graduating, and for the past 8+ months I’ve been fostering dogs in need through Big Paws of the Ozarks. Fostering has given me extensive hands-on experience with dogs of many breeds, personalities, ages, and needs, including shelter dogs who may be nervous, stressed, or adjusting to a new environment. I’ve become very comfortable introducing new dogs into my home and helping them adjust to both me and my own dog, which is especially important when boarding. Fostering has also taught me to recognize canine body language and cues, so I’m able to tell when a dog is stressed, tired, overstimulated, or simply needs some space or a break. Above all, I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to meet each dog where they are—whether that means lots of playtime and walks or giving a nervous or senior pup a little extra time and care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m able to make pet care a consistent part of my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with dogs through walks, runs, playtime, and snuggles, and I’m happy to accommodate their individual routines and needs. I have two extra bedrooms, so I can give each dog their own comfortable space at night if they prefer to sleep in a crate or have some quiet time. I’m also happy to let dogs sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to. My priority is always making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and supervised, while also making sure their interactions with my dog are positive.

About: I’ve always loved cats and wanted one ever since I was young, and when I made it to college I was finally able to fulfill that dream and adopt my first cat, Walter, who was just barely a year old when I took him in. Raising Walter has been a truly wonderful experience- I’ve loved getting to learn what kind of food works for him, what toys he prefers, when and where he likes to sleep, everything about him. That’s the thing about cats; they can be a little skittish or scratch you, but oftentimes they just need patience, love, and the right attitude. About: I have taken care of and owned dogs my entire life, I grew up with 15 dogs on 3 acres. I have never not owned a dog with my senior pit coming up on 17 years with me. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. About: I am a responsible care taker and have enjoyed taking care of many pets, most especially dogs. Big or small. Lazy or hyper... I love animals! My name is Sharon. I am a mom and grandma. I currently work remotely from home as my primary employment. I enjoy reading literature and walking in the park. If you need someone loving and responsible to care for your pet, it could be me! I work remotely from home (on my pc) during certain scheduled hours through out the week for my primary job. Since my work is flexible it leaves plenty of time for quality pet care. I plan to drive to my client's home and take care of their pets as per their wishes. I also have a fenced in yard and a sidewalk where I live so pet sitting at my home is also an option.
About: I’ve had big dogs my whole life and I’m an animal science major on the pre-veterinary track. I have experience in vet clinics, grooming, shelters, and dog sitting. I’m currently a student so I have plenty of free time to take care of pups! I am available during the weekdays depending on my classes and weekends are usually free. “Kindell is a badass with bigger dogs. She came early in the morning and took care of my pittie-boxer with ease. She responded so quickly when I had a question about his behavior half way through the week! She even did a free meet and greet a few days before her contracted days to make sure my boy was comfortable and she knew where and how my normal walks went. She always sent pictures and fed him! I loved being able to get the reports each day and watch their bond grow too! Would hire her services for any vacation coming up!”
About: I have always been a dog lover. My husband and I have have dogs for our entire marriage. 22yrs!! They are such a part of the family!!! I'm a stay at home Mom. I'm at the house most all of the day. Always available for potty breaks, walks, and snuggles ❤️ 💕 I am always diligent on making sure leashes and harness are on and secure. All doors and gates are always double checked to make sure they're locked.

About: Growing up, I’ve never went without a pet in my house. I currently have 4 dogs at home, ranging from 2 years old, to seniors so I have a knowledge of a wide range of ages! I’ve also owned rodents consistently throughout my whole life (hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, etc) so I have vast experience with those as well if needed! I also have experience with bird and cat care. Whatever pet you have, I can take care of it! I’m a current college student with a passion for pets looking to provide excellence service to any and all pets you have! I’m available nearly 24/7 for drop-in petsitting and in-house stays! I also do same day booking, though I would especially prefer at least a days notice for in-house stays. In my home, safety is one of our main priorities. With puppies at home, I always make sure anything that is toxic or hazardous is picked up off the floor to prevent choking. Same with our elderly dog, to prevent tripping. I do several bathroom breaks a day, making sure to play with them hands on, and pet them to let them know they’re loved too. Im constantly checking food and water, and I would apply these same things in my clients’ homes. I’m used to the crazy with all of mine, so bring on the chaos!
About: I have had four dogs for most of my life, and I am away at college right now and missing them, so I am taking up dog sitting. I am willing to hang out with pets literally anytime. I am always down to take them on walks or pet sit them. I will always make time for animals. I have a big backyard with a fence, so my pets do not get out. I feed pets on time every time and make sure they never have to wait to go potty.

About: I’m a University of Arkansas graduate and a lifelong dog lover, and caring for dogs has become a big part of my life. I have my own dog, who I got after graduating, and for the past 8+ months I’ve been fostering dogs in need through Big Paws of the Ozarks. Fostering has given me extensive hands-on experience with dogs of many breeds, personalities, ages, and needs, including shelter dogs who may be nervous, stressed, or adjusting to a new environment. I’ve become very comfortable introducing new dogs into my home and helping them adjust to both me and my own dog, which is especially important when boarding. Fostering has also taught me to recognize canine body language and cues, so I’m able to tell when a dog is stressed, tired, overstimulated, or simply needs some space or a break. Above all, I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to meet each dog where they are—whether that means lots of playtime and walks or giving a nervous or senior pup a little extra time and care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m able to make pet care a consistent part of my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with dogs through walks, runs, playtime, and snuggles, and I’m happy to accommodate their individual routines and needs. I have two extra bedrooms, so I can give each dog their own comfortable space at night if they prefer to sleep in a crate or have some quiet time. I’m also happy to let dogs sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to. My priority is always making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and supervised, while also making sure their interactions with my dog are positive.

He was tired but so so happy when we went to pick him up, which means max gave him plenty of exercise and love. Max talked us through cowboy’s behavior and sent updates throughout the weekend. Max is a very knowledgeable dog trainer and took the time to get to know cowboy and help with some of his reactivity in just a weekend. We will only be using Max for future rovering.
