About: I'm a colon cancer survivor which fur babies have helped me through a lot I'm all about them and taking care of them because they have been all about me throughout my sickness.... Now that I'm a little better I want to give back to the unconditional creatures that gave to me in a time of need...I've had Weimaraners in my household for over 15 years and have had other fur babies and animals before that throughout my life, this chance that I could have to provide the love and care for the parents of those fur babies that need it. Normally have cared for my neighbors dog Lucy across the street. They appreciate the fact that I can stay there with her all night and for extended periods as she is recovering from surgery. I joined Rover because I miss having my dog in my everyday life. He is currently staying with my parents back home in north-central Kansas. My dad’s health isn’t the best, and my dog brings him a great deal of comfort, so I know he is where he needs to be for now. I return home about once a month to visit them. I can often accommodate short-notice requests and easily work around your pet’s regular feeding, playtime, and care routine. I prefer caring for pets in their own homes, where they can feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in familiar surroundings. I will follow each pet’s normal routine, carefully secure doors and gates, respect the client’s home, and provide regular updates and photos. I have a friendly cat at home who gets along well with dogs but prefers not to be around other cats. Because of that, I would care for cats in their own homes but may welcome dogs into mine after a meet-and-greet. I’m flexible and always willing to discuss the safest arrangement for each pet.

About: I got a puppy when I was 3 and I’ve been caring for dogs ever since! Friends and neighbors have always trusted their pets in my care and the pets all love me too! I’m a homemaker who is home with my dog all the time. We would love some more furry friends to have fun with us. I have open availability and flexibility with my schedule. They really got to know “Tink” and it was very evident through the multiple pictures, videos, and daily communications. “Tink” enjoyed time with their “Briar Rose” 🐶 she taught “Tink” to use the doggie door and shared her bones!
