About: I love dogs and have several years of experience caring for them whether overnight or on walks. I can administer medicines orally and have fundamental training skills to help your pet acclimate to me and my space. I work part-time with shifts never exceeding 7 hours. Working 4-5 days a week. I work near my place of residence and am able to respond quickly to any situation if needed. Dogs: I am able to board adult, small-medium dogs. Others I will gladly walk or sit for. I provide a structured environment to help them feel comfortable and safe while keeping toys and treats handy to engage their minds and bodies and to build a positive relationship. Cats: I will board any and all cats assuming they're healthy. I have a very cat-friendly home and provide consistent meals, cuddles, and play. Foremost, I let the cat decide what it wants, whether that's space and quiet, or pets and play.
“We were spending 1 night in Memphis and needed someone to care for our energetic English Springer Spaniel. Adaire was great, very responsive in communications, and had everything set up when we arrived. While there for less than a day, Adaire took her out for multiple adventures in the park along with sending pictures and videos. Violet found a new best friend and didn't want to leave. Highly recommend.”

“Wendy was awesome. Not only is she very knowledgeable about dogs in general, she is very patient and understanding with new pet parents like myself. Her insight and tips have been invaluable in helping us to help her adjust to our home. Wendy loves animals and it shows in the care she provides. I will always look for her first when I can't take my Essie Mae with me.”

About: There has been one to two dogs in my family my entire life, I'm very familiar with them and I've never met a dog that didn't warm up to me within minutes. I'm a graduate student getting my PhD in biomedical sciences so I can work long days but I also don't have defined hours so I can take breaks to take care of pups. Dogs typically have to be kenneled unless I've watched them before and know I can trust them to not go to the bathroom in the house.
“Arika took great care of our dog Jax! She took him on lots of walks and Jax got plenty of outside/play time. We really appreciated that she regularly updated us with photos while we were away. Would definitely book again!”

“Alicia took great care of Sammy while we were away! She sent us pictures of him daily with an update. Our Boxer seemed to have a great time with her! She was also flexible with the timing of dropping him off and picking him up. Thanks Alicia!!”

“Julie goes above and beyond to give the pups in her care the best experience possible. We just needed someone to watch Guini for the day, and Julie sent updates all day, including a ton of videos of her having a blast at a huge dog park. She extremely response; including considering I sent the initial request late in the evening.”

“Thank you for being a great sitter for uno and I’m glad he has other dogs to play with . Will definitely use you again while my other sitter is off rover for the next month . Also just make sure that uno food is wrapped back up with the aluminum foil but other than that , thank you .”

“Kaylen was very gracious to watch my pup Roxy for a few hours on short notice so that I could visit some sites in Memphis. I felt very relieved to have an experienced pet sitter care for my girl so that I could take my time at the Civil Rights Museum. If we lived in Memphis, Roxy would be a repeat customer.”

“Kissie was AMAZING with our dear sweet Bianca. She took her to an incredible dog park, gave her tons of TLC, and got her nice and pooped (tired) for long ride in car after her stay. Our only concern was that we didn’t think Bianca would want to come back with us 😂”

“Kelly was very communicative during the scheduling the meet and greet. Her other dogs were quite excited to meet my pup, and while they startled me, my pup didn’t seem to be too scared. Kelly made sure to keep the dogs separate with strong gates and an organized system for rotating backyard bathroom breaks. I highly recommend Kelly for boarding and sitting.”

About: I have 2+ years of experience in veterinary medicine. I have taken care of many different breeds, temperaments, and ages of both cats and dogs. I have been trusted to watch many of my friends' pets, as well as family. I am available most days, all day right now. I have a crazy weekend schedule for the next three weeks, but after that, I will be available for weekends. I give lots of love and pets to fur babies. My animals have normally been allowed on furniture, so if they are not allowed on your furniture, please let me know in advance! If there is an accident in the home, I would be more than willing to clean up.
About: I’m a lifelong dog lover full of experience caring for pups of all sizes, ages, and quirks. From raising two family dogs as a kid to raising my own fur crew—Tobi (a laid-back Maltese-Shih Tzu), Maki (a playful Bernedoodle pup), and my late German Shepherd, Tokki—I’ve seen it all. I’ve volunteered at the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, walking rescued pups and giving them all the love. I also have experience providing extra TLC to dogs with special needs—my late dog Tokki required medication and round-the-clock care, which I handled like the proud dog mom I am. Every dog has their own personality, and I’m here to match their vibe—whether they’re a cuddle bug, a ball-chaser, or just in it for the snacks. My goal is to make your pup feel loved, safe, and right at home (or on an adventure!). As a fellow dog parent, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your fur baby. That’s why I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, and all the adorable moments in between. I can’t wait to spoil your pup while you’re away! DAY CARE & BOARDING: While I can only host small to medium dogs at my apartment, I’m happy to care for larger dogs in their own home. If your dog is more comfortable alone, I can arrange for Tobi to stay at his dad’s place to provide an stress-free environment. Maki usually stays with her dad, but if your dog enjoys young and playful company, she’d love to be a companion during their stay! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work part-time remotely, giving me a very flexible schedule. I’m home most of the time, which allows me to provide attentive and consistent care for pets. I can easily accommodate feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special needs throughout the day. My flexible work setup ensures that your pet will never feel alone or neglected while in my care. In my home, I create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for pets. I ensure they stick to their normal routines, including feeding, walking, and playtime. Since I live in an apartment, I only host small to medium dogs, and my own dog, Tobi, is friendly and independent, making it a welcoming space for your pup. We’re also close to the beach and dog parks for fun outdoor adventures. In a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining the pet’s routine and environment to help them feel at ease. I provide regular updates, follow any specific instructions, and ensure they receive plenty of love, care, and attention while keeping their space clean and organized.

About: Back in 2014, I attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, graduated early with my diploma in Assistance Animal Laboratory Technicians, also with a certification in Purina Mills Animal Care Course. I have done an internship with North Shelby Animal Shelter as well as Bartlett Animal Shelte, where I took stray dogs/ abandoned out for walks and to play. Most of the dogs I encountered with at the shelter were sweet and loving dogs that just need a friend and time to spend with a person. I treated those dogs as my own. I have also intern at University of Tennessee Health and Science Center taking care of rodents, pigs, and other animals. I am someone who is mature, candid and who has integrity. Everyday I work to improve myself and my skills which is part of maturing and becoming better at what I do, this is why I want clients to choose me. I will treat your pets as my own pets. I will love and care for them, as if they where my own.

I do live in a gated community, it would be very difficult for your pet to escape. I also live around many walking trails, so they will get plenty of exercise!
About: I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care. I’ve grown up with animals my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. My family has always had dogs and a cat, and now that I’m in college, I live with a roommate who has a dog as well — animals have always been a constant part of my everyday life. One thing I hear often is that pets tend to warm up to me quickly. I’m naturally calm, patient, and attentive, and I take the time to let animals approach me at their own pace. I pay close attention to body language and personality, which helps pets feel safe and understood, especially if they’re shy, anxious, or sensitive to new people or environments. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including overnight stays and extended care. Whether your pet needs structured routines, playful energy, or quiet companionship, I adjust to what makes them feel most comfortable. Animals have always been a grounding presence in my life, and caring for and forming bonds with them is something I truly enjoy — not just something I do. I’m currently on winter break with very open availability, flexible scheduling, and the ability to accommodate last-minute requests. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and extended care, and I prioritize being present and attentive rather than rushing through visits. I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort in every aspect of pet care. I follow instructions closely and am mindful of details like doors, leashes, feeding schedules, and any special needs or medications. I treat both pets and homes with respect and care, and I communicate clearly so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. My goal is always to create a calm, secure environment where pets feel genuinely comfortable.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities throughout my life. Growing up, I always had a dog in the house, which helped me develop a strong love and understanding of animals from an early age. Friends, family members, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and stay overnight with their pets while they’re away. I genuinely love animals and enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve been asked back multiple times by the families I’ve helped, which reflects the trust and reliability I bring to every pet I care for. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I currently work part-time cleaning homes and typically finish my workday and return home around 2:00 PM. This gives me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and overnight care. I am hoping to make pet sitting a larger priority in my schedule and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care for every pet I work with. I make sure pets receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I treat every fur baby with the same love, attention, and care that I would give my own. I have a friendly pet who can provide companionship if your pet enjoys being around other animals. I understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and preferences, and I am happy to accommodate specific requests to help them feel comfortable and safe. About: Growing up in Arkansas, it gave me that country life! I’ve had ducks, a goat, a rabbit, horses, cats, ponies, dogs, and chickens as my responsibilities to take care of. It was hard work, although I didn’t see it that way because I enjoy spending time with animals. This passion for animals has encouraged me to join 4-H( Marion/West Memphis Arkansas area), actively volunteer at animal shelters, join the Humane Society of Tennessee, and currently am working on my Vet Tech certifications. I’m here to show your pets it’s okay, their owner is leaving for the moment because we will have fun and I can give them the same attention and care that their awesome owners give them. I also have 3 years of experience dealing with domestic and farm animals! I have a very fexible schedule and I’m home almost all the time. I am committed to giving your pet an excellence experience with tons of attention. So if you need a pet sitter, I’m your girl! I’m also taking grooming and dog training courses, so I can get my certification. Currently, I don’t feel comfortable cutting or trimming pets yet because I’m still in training, although I do offer through Rover baths and brushing of teeth. 901 279 6895 I currently work at Shelby Center Hospital for Animals, although I am very flexible and accommodating! You tell me what you need, and I will definitely make sure I’m there for your pet! I care for your pet in my home by taking them out 2-3 times daily or as needed per the owner. I can provide bowls, blankets, pee pads, and a kennel for your pets if needed. I have a lot of toys to keep your pet engaged and I don’t have a pet so i have plenty of love to spread! We go on walks or the dog park on good sunny days. I send pics and sometimes videos during there stay. I care for pets in client’a home by abiding by the rules or task the client instructs me to do for there pet during the stay. I play with the pet while I’m there multiple times during the day and I make sure i leave the place how i came in or better. I usually clean before I leave and make sure everything is done as instructed by my clients!

“Abby is great! She took very good care of our dog, Aslan. She sent us pictures every day, which made us very happy. Abby really loves animals, and we could see it. We are very happy with how she cared for Aslan. Highly recommended!”

“Maddie is truly a gem! She was kind, attentive, and gave us total peace of mind from day one. Our sweet boy was visibly happy in every photo update she sent, and that says it all!! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful sitter!!!”

“Laini is THE BEST!!! She and her hubby made Phoenix feel at home immediately!!! And after daily walks and playtime, it seemed he didn’t want to leave when I arrived to pick him up. I highly recommend and can’t wait to book again! 💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Olivia is so wonderful to work with. She’s very kind, easy to communicate with and treats Sterling as if he’s her own pup. She makes Sterling feel right at home and we’re so thankful to have such a great second home for him when we need to travel.”

“Kissie was great! I could tell my pup was in good hands from the meet and greet. She’s very timely and kept me up to date with his daily walks and meals. I’m definitely going to book with her in the near future and would recommend you do the same!”

“Alexandria is everything you want in a dog sitter. Kind. Patient. Communicative. Flexible. And a true dog lover at heart. I know when my little buddy is with her, he is being showered with love, closely observed, and treated like the sweet fur baby he is. :)”

About: I am a resident at UTHSC and love caring for pets in my free time. I grew up with three dogs, but currently do not have one of my own so I would love to take care of yours to get my fix of doggo cuddles and walks. I take a daily walk and would love to bring your pet along! I also do a fair share of lounging so I get along great with lazy pups as well! I live about one block from a dog park, so if given permission I can easily take your pup for a fun play date to the park! I currently work from 9am-12pm, so I have plenty of free time to spend with your pet. I take daily walks and have a dog park down the street. I live in an apartment, but I have a closed/fenced patio for your pet to lounge on outside if they enjoy the great outdoors (temperature permitting).
About: I am a big proponent of fulfilling a dogs exercise needs and how doing so can help manage or prevent many behavioral issues. A lot of thought goes into ways I can exercise and entertain my dogs each day. My dogs receive roughly 2 hours of high intensity exercise daily. Usually 2 outings, one in the morning and one in the evening, or one long run/hike per day! I have Ruffland crates for the house to give my dogs a quiet place to chill. My home is clean and kept clear of any objects or food that could injure a dog. I am knowledgeable on canine body language and communication and can identify signs of discomfort before a problem arises.
“Lucy loved her time with Victoria. I got photo updates and Lucy was in great spirits when I picked her up. I could tell that there was trust from Lucy and it meant a lot to know she was safe and happy with Victoria while I was away. Definitely would book again”
