“Derek accepted my request to sit for my new 5mo pup while I had to travel for work for 3 weeks (which last minute became 4 weeks) and he was nothing short of fantastic the entire time. He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!). Derek was my first experience with Rover and I don't plan to seek out any other sitter unless Derek is unavailable, and he will my first recommendation to anyone else to need a sitter in Memphis. About: We live in a house with a fenced in yard and have 1 dog, our lovely German Shephard named Harper. She is very social and likes playing with other dogs and does not mind sharing toys. Would like to lay on your lap and cuddle all day. I have been taking care of dogs since I was a child. This includes my own dogs, but also dogs of friends and family while they were on vacations. I have experience administering medication, as one of my previous dogs suffered from epilepsy and had to get medicine every 12 hours. Dogs can roam around the house freely, are allowed to lay on the furniture and are taken on walks and to the dog park in Overton park every day. I work from home so I can arrange my schedule around any special needs for you pets. I work from home and can arrange my own hours, which provides me with the flexibility to make sure your pet gets any special needs they may require. I live in a big house where the dogs can freely roam around and are allowed to lay on the furniture. When the weather allows it I open the door to the fenced yard, where they can enjoy the sun or the shade from our tree. I have experience giving medicine to dogs and dogs with epilepsy.

About: I was a Manager at a dog lodge for 4 years. I took care of all sizes and breeds of dogs. I am CPR certified. I am pretty good at training dogs, but not professionally. I’m currently on a break from working a full time job. Currently I am enjoying my hobbies, and taking care of my own dogs. We go to the dog park every other day, and they get plenty of enrichment time. I live in an apartment. We have a dog park here. It is fully fenced in and open 24/7. I am also right next to the Shelby Farms dog park. We can do leash walks and off-leash walks if you want. I also have 3 dogs of my own- a whippet, a cavalier, and a cocker spaniel mix. They all are great with other dogs. I also have multiple crates in my house. If anyone doesn’t get along, I have ways to work around it.

About: I'm an early bird so morning walks are always in; Sir Connor (Rest In Dog Paradise ) he was a shih tzu mixed. He was not neutered, because I wanted grand fur babies at the time. I have fostered over a dozen dogs and a handful of cats. Daisy May was an extra addition to the family while I was fostering a puppy I called Maxwell; Maxwell has been adopted by a caring couple! Daisy May is currently the only dog I have so far. Sitting Schedule: Breakfast is at 10:30. I'm reading on how to train dogs and so treats would be ideal for play time! Dinner is severed at 7:30 I feed twice a day. If I have your dog on the weekend, they get to go on a field trip to Overton Park or Mud Island Dog Park. They also get enrichment time with pet toys and snacks! I also groom on the weekend. I mostly had dogs as pets; I rescued a cat and named him Jeffery and he was adopted by a loving family. We have pet-sat for a few NC and TN families for the past several years, and both of us had pet-sat before we met as well. Zachary works from home and so will be around the house much of the day if dogs need a mid-day walk or meal. Denny wakes up early and can feed and walk dogs in the early morning. Between us, we have experience with cats, dogs, fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, livestock, reptiles, and amphibians. We are willing to work with other animals as well. We prefer to sleep at the pet-owner's home when needed, as this means that we’re around and available for the pets at various times throughout the day. Denny also does drop-in care and dog-walking. Zachary has experience training dogs and volunteering with cats as well. Looking forward to meeting you! Zachary has a flexible work schedule and works from home. Denny is available to care for pets in the mornings, sometimes late afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We both enjoy walking and hiking and would love to take your dogs for walks. We don’t bring pets into our home but prefer overnight care in the pets’ home and are also open to drop-in care and walks. We are both very gentle with dogs and cats and enjoy lots of cuddles with pets, and we also make sure to take them for walks if desired.
About: I have had many animals over the years and still have many. I love dogs and cats, but all animals are worthy of great care. I have volunteered at the humane society and dealt with all types of needs for pets. I have had puppies in my house and have a knack for training. I am currently not working and would love to help people care for their pets. I have been driving for uber but am not able to anymore. I am available to work around your schedule and do what is needed for you and your pets In my home there are 4 dogs and 4.5 cats. .5 because my daughter adopted an outdoor stray that now sleeps in her room and has become part of our family. About: We live in a house with a fenced in yard and have 1 dog, our lovely German Shephard named Harper. She is very social and likes playing with other dogs and does not mind sharing toys. Would like to lay on your lap and cuddle all day. I have been taking care of dogs since I was a child. This includes my own dogs, but also dogs of friends and family while they were on vacations. I have experience administering medication, as one of my previous dogs suffered from epilepsy and had to get medicine every 12 hours. Dogs can roam around the house freely, are allowed to lay on the furniture and are taken on walks and to the dog park in Overton park every day. I work from home so I can arrange my schedule around any special needs for you pets. I work from home and can arrange my own hours, which provides me with the flexibility to make sure your pet gets any special needs they may require. I live in a big house where the dogs can freely roam around and are allowed to lay on the furniture. When the weather allows it I open the door to the fenced yard, where they can enjoy the sun or the shade from our tree. I have experience giving medicine to dogs and dogs with epilepsy.
About: I worked at the PetSmart Pets hotel for several years. I also worked at Camp Bow Wow. Ive taken care of lots of fur babies. I have a cat and a dog. I'm currently working part time as a receptionist. I work Monday-Thursday from 12PM-5PM. It leaves me with plenty of time to house sit and spend time caring for animals. I am respectful of other peoples spaces. I am loving towards all animals. When I am pet sitting I give the animals lots of attention. When i am house sitting I make sure to leave the space tidy. I am able to watch dogs overnight in my home. Again I have a dog who loves to play with other dogs. I kennel him when I leave the house for short periods of time. There are two dog parks in my area. We usually go on walks and hit up the dog park. I would bring your dog along with permission. I have open availability for pet sitting. I can pet sit at your house or mine. I am available for walks and drop ins too. My pets have breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. We go on a walk in the morning and then when I get off of work. We go to the dog park a lot. I make sure to keep the dogs on leashes whenever we leave the residence. <3
About: Took a few years break from Rover to give full focus to one of my old fur babies but now am back with more expertise to take care of your older babies. I've had dogs, cats and horses since before I could even walk. So taking care of your pup or cat will be no problem! Any special needs your dog/cat might need I can make sure to attend to! “Derek accepted my request to sit for my new 5mo pup while I had to travel for work for 3 weeks (which last minute became 4 weeks) and he was nothing short of fantastic the entire time. He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!).
