I worked as a vet tech for just over 3 years and started vet school only to realize I liked the happy and healthy version of pets better. I have 2 dogs and a cat along with 2 little boys. I work full time from home and could easily love on your animals and let them out throughout the day. I also have availability to take your dogs for walks or make drop in visits to care for animals after 4:30pm throughout the week and all day on the weekend. We have a separate heated and cooled room in our garage that connects to our fenced in backyard, so no matter your pet’s needs, we can meet them. About: I have had dogs since I was 15 years old. I have taken care of them myself in house basically my whole life. I love cuddling with my dogs and don't mind them laying beside me on furniture. I have trained lots of puppies potty duties and crate training. I have had a bunch of senior dogs. I am a nurse by trade, so if your fur baby needs meds, I am definitely the one who can give it to them! I can't wait to meet your baby! I am currently retired nurse who stays home basically all the time. If I do have to leave, it is usually only for a couple of hours. I do not have a fully fenced yard, but I do have a fenced area behind the house that I can put the fur babies in to do their business and get some exercise. If they do not need to be contained, I have 5 acres that they can run and play.

About: I raised my dog Rocky from when he was a puppy, so I’m experienced in caring for pets of all ages. I’ve pet sit many times before learning about Rover. Every pet is different, and I’m prepared to do my best to meet your pet’s individual needs. I believe a routine is incredibly beneficial to pet care, which is why Rocky is part of my routine. If your pet is staying with me they will be feed and walked first thing in the morning. Potty breaks throughout the day for pets with more frequent needs. Then second feeding and walk at approximately 6:30 pm. If I’m sitting at your place, if your pet has its own routine we will follow it, if not I will adopt a routine based on the environment. Previously, my house was a 3 dog 3 cat house. After some relationship changes, it’s just me and Rocky. Rocky is completely submissive, although he’s a Goldmation he very much embodies golden retriever energy, and gets along with pets of all shapes and sizes (like I said, 3 cats) When sitting at your house you can be sure that both your home and pets will be cared for. Cleaning is one of my favorite activities, so you might find your house is even a bit more tidy than you left it. And Rocky is very low maintenance and stays home when I pet sit, meaning that if you want me to spend as much time at your place as possible, I can do that.

“Leah is an outstanding dog walker. She easily handled not one but two dogs that are XL. Cassie & D'Artangnan's combine weight is nearly 200lbs! I prefer that they are walked together as that is how I normally do with them, before I injured my knee. Leah was eager to try it the 1st day, and did an amazing walk handling then simultaneously, that is not easy because one walks quickly & the other has a slower pace. I am also well equipped at caring for elderly pets and distributing medicine. I currently work full time, however, I am only in the office three days a week.
