About: I’ve always loved cats and wanted one ever since I was young, and when I made it to college I was finally able to fulfill that dream and adopt my first cat, Walter, who was just barely a year old when I took him in. Raising Walter has been a truly wonderful experience- I’ve loved getting to learn what kind of food works for him, what toys he prefers, when and where he likes to sleep, everything about him. That’s the thing about cats; they can be a little skittish or scratch you, but oftentimes they just need patience, love, and the right attitude. About: I had my first dog when I was 8 and raised her from a puppy for 5 years. Also, I’ve been pet/dog (e.g. dogs, cat, reptiles, etc.) and house sitting for several years. I graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, and currently volunteer with the Fayetteville animal shelter. I’m currently working full-time M-F from 8am-5pm with a few breaks. More than willing to do whatever takes to ensure you and your pet are most comfortable. We have several parks nearby within a quaint neighborhood. I have a 2BR apartment, no pets, and tons of amenities available (dog park, walking trails, etc.).

I live in a 35ft RV that is pretty spacious. I have one dog who gets along well with all dogs. I take dogs on 3-4 walks daily. If sitting in your home, I'd ask for my dog to be allowed in your home, too, as long as your pet and my dog get along. My dog is very friendly and has never ruined anything in my home or anyone else's home. Everyone who meets him describes him as "chill." I would request a meet and greet with pets before house sitting/boarding to ensure there will be no issues. No fee charged for the meet and greet with my dog. For dog walking, I'd visit alone and am able to take your pet to neighborhood dog parks if they're closely accessible.

About: I’m a University of Arkansas graduate and a lifelong dog lover, and caring for dogs has become a big part of my life. I have my own dog, who I got after graduating, and for the past 8+ months I’ve been fostering dogs in need through Big Paws of the Ozarks. Fostering has given me extensive hands-on experience with dogs of many breeds, personalities, ages, and needs, including shelter dogs who may be nervous, stressed, or adjusting to a new environment. I’ve become very comfortable introducing new dogs into my home and helping them adjust to both me and my own dog, which is especially important when boarding. Fostering has also taught me to recognize canine body language and cues, so I’m able to tell when a dog is stressed, tired, overstimulated, or simply needs some space or a break. Above all, I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to meet each dog where they are—whether that means lots of playtime and walks or giving a nervous or senior pup a little extra time and care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m able to make pet care a consistent part of my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with dogs through walks, runs, playtime, and snuggles, and I’m happy to accommodate their individual routines and needs. I have two extra bedrooms, so I can give each dog their own comfortable space at night if they prefer to sleep in a crate or have some quiet time. I’m also happy to let dogs sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to. My priority is always making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and supervised, while also making sure their interactions with my dog are positive.
