About: I’ve had many cats and dogs over the years. My Chocolate Lab, Holly, was 16 years old when she passed away a few years ago. I raised her from a puppy all the way through her senior years. I’ve recently retired so my schedule is fully open to for pet sitting. I am looking forward to having some cats and dogs in the house again. I have a fenced in backyard. Half of the yard is concrete pad with a covered pool, and the other half is grass. I also have a gazebo that gives a good amount of shade for animals to relax under.

About: I have worked with animals most of my life. I have experience administering medication of all types. When I pet sit I will run, walk, and/or continue training with dogs and puppies. During unsupervised times such as when we are sleeping dogs are either in a kennel or allowed to roam the household if they are not destructive and owners are comfortable. Generally, dogs eat twice daily unless otherwise discussed. Medications are given at the times they are needed and each dose is logged in the app for peace of mind. I usually send one or two pictures a each day with a brief update. On occasion I send videos if we are doing something fun. I do work with dogs that are not dog or people friendly. We have 3 dogs who all get along with other dogs and are used to friends visiting. All vaccinated and healthy. Definitely would prefer no shedding or minimal shedding if you want the dog inside, but up for discussion :) will always have water bowls inside and outside and can feed as needed. I do have two crates I could use if needed.

About: I’ve had a dog or cat in my life since I was five years old, and I’ve truly adored every pet I’ve had. Now that I’m in a new chapter of my life and unable to have a pet of my own at the moment, I’d love the opportunity to care for yours. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I promise to treat them with the same love, attention, and care I would give my own. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and routines, and I genuinely enjoy building connections with animals. “Carissa was absolutely amazing with our dog! We were pretty nervous at first since Roux has never stayed at someone else’s house, but she made us feel comfortable right away. She kept great communication the entire time, sending updates and making sure we knew he was doing well. It meant so much to us. When we picked him up, she even surprised us with the sweetest gift — a framed picture of Roux and some treats for him. That really went above and beyond.
