I know dogs sense that calm energy and with this being our Anniversary trip, it would have been so hard to enjoy it being worried about the pups ! “Barnabas is hands down the best I’ve found on Rover. He watched my three dogs (including two puppies that are still working on potty training) for 10 days and took excellent care of them. When I arrived to drop them off, one of the pups had gotten carsick all over himself and the other pup, and Barnabas was not phased by this, saying he’d just give them a bath. He sent regular photos and videos and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for my dogs. I have avoided men as dog sitters in the past because I have female who is leery of men, bus she warmed right up to Barnabas with no issues. And his dog Cerberus is a gentle giant who did wonderfully with my dogs as well. We will definitely contact Barnabas again!”

About: I've been around animals all my life. From volunteering at Petsmart during adoption weekends to rescuing/fostering animals. It has been my passion since I was a kid. I've worked with all ages from older dogs who need medication and newborn puppies (I've even delivered puppies). I have experience getting timid dogs to trust me. About: I'm a colon cancer survivor which fur babies have helped me through a lot I'm all about them and taking care of them because they have been all about me throughout my sickness.... Now that I'm a little better I want to give back to the unconditional creatures that gave to me in a time of need...I've had Weimaraners in my household for over 15 years and have had other fur babies and animals before that throughout my life, this chance that I could have to provide the love and care for the parents of those fur babies that need it. I’ve owned both cats and dogs over the years, and I currently have three sweet dogs of my own, two Golden Retrievers and a Great Pyrenees mix. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, but caring for pets is naturally part of my daily routine. My mornings start early, around 6 to 7am, with potty breaks followed by breakfast around 7am. Throughout the day, I provide additional potty breaks based on each pet’s needs, typically late morning from 10 to 11am, mid afternoon from 3 to 4pm, and again in the evening from 7 to 8pm, followed by dinner around 8pm. We always end the day with one last potty break before bedtime. On weekends, I am home more often, which allows for extra attention, walks, and playtime. I am very flexible and adapt to each pet’s individual needs, treating every visiting pet as if they were my own. I prioritize consistency, comfort, and making sure every pet feels cared for and at ease. In my home, pets are cared for just like my own three dogs, with lots of love, attention, and a consistent routine. About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

“This was our first time leaving our two miniature schnauzer puppies and after having a not so good experience with another dog sitter ( I had my sons dog for awhile ), I was very nervous about leaving these two, not to mention my girl had been anxious about some things and I didn’t want anyone to push her - Jocelyn emotionally met me right where I was at and assured me she would go at their pace ! I know dogs sense that calm energy and with this being our Anniversary trip, it would have been so hard to enjoy it being worried about the pups ! They had a great time and we got plenty of pics to assure us that they were both doing ok- I so appreciate all you did Jocelyn and I know we will be back again! Thanks for taking care of our two and I know they’ll be excited to see you again!!”

“Barnabas is hands down the best I’ve found on Rover. He watched my three dogs (including two puppies that are still working on potty training) for 10 days and took excellent care of them. When I arrived to drop them off, one of the pups had gotten carsick all over himself and the other pup, and Barnabas was not phased by this, saying he’d just give them a bath. He sent regular photos and videos and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for my dogs. I have avoided men as dog sitters in the past because I have female who is leery of men, bus she warmed right up to Barnabas with no issues. And his dog Cerberus is a gentle giant who did wonderfully with my dogs as well. We will definitely contact Barnabas again!”
