She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 10 plus years. You will not have to worry about your pet with me I will make sure to send you as many updates you want and by the end of the stay your fur baby will have a new best friend (: I’m currently helping clean houses during the week but I still have plenty of free time to help you with your fur baby, I will be able to rearrange my schedule as needed. I will make sure your fur baby has food and water, I go by the book when given instructions on how you want your fur baby taken care of, I don’t mind crating them but if you don’t crate them I am absolutely be okay with them cuddling up to me while we watch tv. I can do check ins so that way I can spend 30 minutes to an hour making sure your fur baby goes on a walk and has exercise.

About: I have had a love of animals for my entire life and have always owned at least one pet. My first pet fully on my own was a chinchilla named Chee who I got my sophomore year of college and since then, the pets have only grown. I currently have two large breed dogs. Bo is a 3-year-old belgian malinios mix and Bailey is a 1-year-old German Shepard. I am a licensed pharmacist who has recently cut back to part-time and I began looking for a non-healthcare way to spend my time. I mainly work on Wednesday and Thursday but am home by 7 pm on those days and available on other days of the week! I've owned many different breeds from large to small, my current dogs are all rescues from Hawaii giving them a beautiful life here in Alabama giving them loves hugs and kisses every day. Im retired so im available morning afternoons and nights plus overnight if needed. Always following schedules or routines food, water meds walks or playtime for sure. Keeping your fur babies are safe and plenty of rubs and love. At my home I always check my gates and fence line for safety. I always go out with them for safety, walks and playtime. Separate or rotate pets at feeding time if needed and treat time. I ask about your house rules and follow the instructions for any special needs for each pet, food mediation walks. I always double check gates locks making sure everything is secure before leaving.

About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past,and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous,what treats they like,any meds needed,and so forth. I'm currently staying at home to take care of and homeschool my two girls,as well as running a small kennel,so your dog will get plenty of care and attention. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water,food,and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

Lots of loves, plenty of cuddles. He is allowed on furniture. He doesn’t have a fenced in yard but he know his boundaries. In your home, I am more than willing to go by your rules.

When looking at my daily routine, I get up and let my own dog out before work, come let him out during lunch, and then play with him after work is over. I would love to also be caring for your pup at those same times. When caring for your pup, I always want to make sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for. I know new people can make some pups nervous and I always want to make your pup feel comfortable. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). “I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and grew up walking dogs in my neighborhood! I keep my friends dogs all the time while they are out of town or just busy. If you ask anyone they will tell you I am a huge lover of animals and treat my own dog as my child! I love to love on your fur babies and want them to not even wanna go back home they are so comfortable with me. I also know what it’s like to leave your dog so I want you to know that your fur baby is in the best hands! Like I said, I do have a dog so if you book with me your dog must get a long with other dogs🥰 I currently work 6-3 so can watch dogs in the afternoon /night. I usually take my dog to the park so if your dog needs the most exercise and likes to play with other dogs I can certainly take yours in the afternoon! I have a playful dog who I give all the attention to when I’m home! We love all dogs and get to play so much!
