Highly-rated overnight sitters - Wright Crossroads
“Loved Kaia and Desean! My little guy had sooo much fun! He was pretty much worthless for 3 days after picking him up because he was so tired! (And he can go for hours, so this made me extra happy lol) Will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them if you have a friendly and hyper dog. :)”

“Katie is an amazing pet sitter. She was so attentive, kind and interactive with my dog. My dog had great walks and fun playing with her dog. I will use her services in the future.”

“We feel like Laura and Spirit have become pals. Laura treats her like her furry roommate. We plan to leave Spirit with her anytime that it works out. She has a true love for and knowledge of dogs, that is very obvious in talking to her. We would highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

“Our dog LOVED her time with Sandra and Mark. She normally takes a little time to warm up to new people and things, but she was instantly at home with them. She loved running around their yard and sitting in a little pool and sun tent that they offered her. They had excellent communication and sent us so many pictures. It’s so reassuring knowing your pup is in good hands when you’re away from them. We’d recommend them to anyone and would love to use them again in the future!”

“Booking with Ryan was great. He sent loads of pictures of my dog Murray enjoying his stay. Murray is tuckered out from all the fun and walks, which really puts me at ease that he was comfortable staying with Ryan. Cannot recommend him enough.”

“Leaving Cooper for a full week over the Fourth of July was a big deal for me, but from the very beginning I knew he was in great hands. Kristen welcomed him into her home like he was part of the family and kept me updated every day with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The best part was seeing how happy and relaxed Cooper was when I picked him up. It was obvious he had been well cared for, loved, and made to feel at home. I never had to worry while I was away, and that is priceless. I would absolutely trust her with Cooper again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of him!”

“We had a friend cancel on us the very last minute before a week trip to Michigan. Andrea not only took Mikey for the week. We got pictures and updates every day. This is the second time we have used her. I would never trust another person with my dog. Excellent care.”

“Tori was so good with my 13 year old Yorkie. She gave him lots of attention and engagement and didn’t mind if she needed to take him out more often. He came back calm and sleeping through the night again! Her communication with us was always clear and she kept the pictures coming. She even had a little place in her home specifically for a pet. It was like he was staying at a good friends house who had known him all his life. We are so grateful! Finding a good boarding sitter is hard but we struck gold with Tori!”

“Our 3 dogs were in the best hands ever with Autumn. She was so kind, conscientious and knowledgeable about pet care. She also sent photos and updates which were so nice to receive. I would 100% recommend Autumn as an excellent, reliable pet sitter!”

“I had a great experience with Dominik boarding my two dogs. What stood out the most was that he was willing to take them in at the last minute, which helped me out tremendously and truly meant a lot. From the beginning, Dominik was professional, responsive, and made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs in his care. You can tell he genuinely cares about animals and wants to make sure they feel comfortable. My dogs were well taken care of, and I appreciated knowing they were in good hands while I was away. Finding someone dependable to trust with your pets is not always easy, but I would absolutely recommend Dominik to anyone looking for reliable and caring boarding services.”

“Allison just brought our baby back home after hosting her for a week. Our dog Amelie had the best time there! We received daily picks and she was always having fun. We could not be happier knowing that she was well taken care of :)”

“Jennifer took care of my baby for 8 days straight when I was out of country. She made sure to feed him at prescribed times, give medicines and ample play time. She communicated well and did everything that made me feel very comfortable. I recommend her for pet sitting needs.”

“Great experience! Our dogs were well cared for, and we appreciated the photos, updates, and the wonderful interaction with them. Thank you for taking such good care of our pets!”

“Kayla is the best. She showed patience and understanding for my furbaby whom never stayed with anyone before. He received lots of love and got a chance to have a play date.”

“Kimmey is absolutely amazing! I was nervous with this being my first time away from my dog, but Kimmey made it easy to enjoy my time away with family knowing that my dog was receiving the best care. She frequently sent updates on how my dog was doing and took care to pay attention to my dog's individual enrichment interests and needs. My dog had a blast and she misses Kimmey and her wonderful family already! I highly recommend booking with her!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life as well as dog and cat sitting since I was 16 years old. I have helped potty train dogs as well as bird dog training. I own my own company and create my own hours so pet sitting fits perfectly with my schedule. I am able to sit whenever I want to and keep up with my own work. I live in an apartment where we have balconies that have locks and railings to keep animals safe as well as a fenced in dog park for any playtime activities. We also have a safe complex where we can do long walks. For safety purposes cats are not allowed on the balcony while with me. We also have doors with special codes so animals can not escape and doors at either of the hall where pets can not make it down the stairs on their own.
“Brian, his wife, and his home are the perfect place to board your dog. My dog Cali has felt right at home and couldn't be any more spoiled. The attention, energy, and love she recieved while staying with them couldn't have been more perfect. Their house was immaculate, the yard, and location is perfect. Brian is easy to communicate with and responsive and very flexible. I was going out of town for work and needed a place for my dog and wasn't sure how long I'd be gone. They were helpful and extending was easy. If you're looking for a loving home away from home you don't need to look any farther.”

“Rebecca was awesome!! First time using rover and was fortunate to find the best sitter in our area. Rebecca has great communication and I can tell Bruno had a great time and was well cared for.”

About: Growing up, our neighbors on our street all had animals that they would trust my family with taking care of while they were gone. Being older now, I still have the same love of taking care of animals whether it is my own dog and cat or other people’s! I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy look after such an important part of your family and would love to be that person!! I’m a teacher so I get off work fairly early and have weekends off to help others who need it! Whether that is letting them out, taking them for a walk or feedings! I know animals prefer their own environment and would love to create a safe and trusting experience for them right inside your home to make them as comfortable as possible!

About: Cats have been a part of my life for over 12 years, and I've cared for kittens, adult cats, and seniors with different personalities and needs. I previously worked as a veterinary assistant/kennel technician, where I safely handled cats, administered medications and vaccines under veterinary supervision, monitored their health, and helped keep them comfortable and stress-free. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or needs extra patience, I'll provide loving, reliable care, keep litter boxes clean, follow feeding routines, and send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

“Abigail did a wonderful job with my pup, Maple, and my two cats! She catered to their every need. Would definitely recommend Abigail! Cannot thank her enough for covering over the 4th of July weekend!”

“This is the second time I’ve used Kailyn to watch Coco. This time she was also house sitting instead of just doing drop ins. She did such a great job! She left literally zero remnants of being here! It was so sweet for her to clean up. Would highly recommend.”

About: *exotics welcome (please message so we can work out details)* I have had a variety of pets throughout my life and have watched many neighbors pets through High school and college. For the last 3 years I have been an Emergency and critical Care Veterinary assistant overnight in a veterinary emergency hospital. I am directly responsible for patient care of critically sick or injured or post-op pets. I am very comfortable caring for chronic conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, congestive heart failure, etc and will seek care if needed. I am comfortable with cats, dogs and a variety of other pets such as reptiles or birds, I have had them all as patients in the CCW. If your pets are under my care they are treated the same as my pets, whether I am dropping in for visits or they are staying at my house! I currently am in school during the week, I am able to go home for lunch if needed so most pets would not be left alone for longer than 4-5 hours, if not less. Weeknights and weekends I am generally home or in the area so they would not be left alone long on those days either In my home, I have a separate room for pets to stay so that they can be separated from my other pets if needed . I have a fenced in yard and my neighborhood is entirely walkable. If I am doing drop in visits, I will ensure your pets are happy and safe on each visit and give them some attention (if they want it ! )

“Brooke was an excellent caretaker to my cats while I was away at the beach. She sent pics and videos and really made being away completely worry free. My cats warmed up to her quickly, which is something they don't normally do, which is a testament to her kind nature and natural instincs when watching someone's pets. She is as good as it gets. Cat Sitter Extraordinaire!! Highly recommend.”

About: I have over 12 years of experience caring for cats and currently care for two cats of my own. I have experience with multi-cat households, senior cats, and cats with different personalities. I understand that every cat is unique and I always try to make them feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. During each visit, I can provide feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and photo updates for pet parents. I am also comfortable giving oral medications, including pills and liquid medications. I have experience caring for senior cats and understand the importance of making sure medications are taken safely and successfully. I pay close attention to each cat’s behavior, appetite, and overall well-being during every visit.
“Bailey was amazing! Communication was fast and easy, she went above and beyond to ensure our babies stayed fed, and checked in even on days family popped in to town unexpectedly. We defy look forward to booking her again!”

“Abby was fantastic! She took great care of our kitty and sent pictures everyday. Our cat loved her and it was evident that she was well cared for while we were gone. Can't wait to use her again!”
“Emma did a great job taking care of our 2 old kitties! She came when she said she would, stayed 30 minutes, cleaned up messes (ugh) and even washed up all the cat bowls before she left. We are so pleased with Emma, and will absolutely call on her again!”

About: I’m a biology Ph.D. student with a strong background in animal behavior, so pet care is something I take seriously beyond just “I like animals.” I’ve worked with and studied animal behavior across different species, including birds, fish, reptiles, ferrets, cats, dogs, and other small animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable reading body language, stress signals, fear responses, curiosity, overexcitement, and the difference between an animal needing attention versus needing space. What sets me apart is that I do not treat every pet the same. A nervous cat, an energetic dog, a shy lizard, a curious ferret, and a bird that is easily startled all need different handling. I pay close attention to each animal’s normal routine, personality, and comfort level. I move calmly, avoid forcing interaction, and try to earn trust instead of assuming it. I’ve had my own pets and grew up around family pets, especially cats, and I’m also comfortable with less “typical” animals like ferrets, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. I know that some pets are easy right away, while others take time, patience, and consistency. I actually enjoy working with the ones that need a little extra understanding. I’m careful with the basics: food, fresh water, litter boxes, walks, enclosures, doors, gates, leashes, temperature needs, and owner instructions. I’m also very comfortable giving updates, noticing behavior changes, and communicating if something seems off. My goal is to keep your pet safe, calm, and cared for in a way that matches their normal life as much as possible. My schedule is flexible, especially with advance notice. As a student, I’m used to balancing responsibilities and planning ahead, so pet care fits well into my routine. For drop-in visits, walks, or sitting, I like to know the pet’s normal schedule so I can keep things as familiar as possible. I’m happy to work around feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication instructions if clearly explained, and any specific routine your pet is used to. Safety is the main thing I focus on. I’m careful with doors, gates, crates, leashes, food instructions, and anything a pet could get into while their owner is away. I do not assume every animal wants the same type of attention, so I move calmly and let them warm up at their own pace. In a client’s home, I follow instructions closely and try to leave things exactly how I found them. I’m respectful of the home, the pet’s routine, and any boundaries the owner sets. If something seems off, like a pet not eating, acting unusually stressed, or having an accident, I would rather communicate than ignore it.
“Ryan is wonderful and patient with my young and energetic dog Finn! Finn gets so excited when Ryan arrives for their early evening 30 minute walk adventure. Ryan is very dependable and communicates, if needed, in a timely manner. After 3 weeks of walks, I fully trust Ryan with my dog. Finn comes home very happy with his walk!”

“Thank you, Laura for taking such great care of Coco our 13 year old Shi Tzu and for keeping us in touch by sending pictures of her during your stay. Knowing she was well cared for, made our Anniversary trip all that more special. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!”
About: I bring hands-on experience from working in both kennels and animal shelters, where I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and temperaments. My time in these settings has taught me the importance of routine, trust, and compassion. I also have a unique skill set in caring for exotic animals, making me versatile and prepared for any type of pet. Whether it's a playful puppy, a senior dog needing extra attention, or any other kind of pet that requires specialized care, I’m ready to provide the best care for your furry (or scaly) friend! As a college student on a pre-vet track, I’m used to balancing a busy schedule while still making time for animals. I have multiple availability blocks throughout the week, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my routine. I’m organized and plan ahead, so I can make sure pets get consistent care whether that’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or check-ins. Caring for animals is already a big part of my life and future career goals, so I naturally prioritize it in my day-to-day routine. I care for pets by treating them like family and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine for meals, walks, and playtime so they stay comfortable in their own environment. I’ve had many pets of my own over the years, so I understand how important it is to give them not just the basics like food and water, but also attention, patience, and affection. Every pet has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them feel most at ease.
About: It's fun side work for me! I'm an Ol' guy that is reliable and good with animals. I tend to take a lot of pictures and video to send to my clients. My availability, depending on location and time, is usually only in the evening due to work during the week. I try to keep my calendar up to date as possible to reflect immediate availability. My schedule adjusts each Auburn semester, so feel free to reach out for the latest availability to discuss your pet dog or cat care needs and wants. I follow the routine of pet owners. I'll administer medications when necessary. The more information I have about your pet needs and routine. The better I can accommodate your pet.

“Heather was amazing with our pup! She was very communicative, sent photos, and frequently kept us updated. We could tell our dog was so happy, even through photos. She was a life saver when our flight got delayed and she was able to keep him an extra night. I would recommend Heather 1000x over! Thank you!”

“Wow, I would highly recommend Carter J for boarding your beloved pups! For a first time boarder, Carter went above and beyond to send pictures and give me updates. He allowed my homemade food for daily feedings, even though I know this took extra steps. My two pup had plenty of exercise and love. They are home now resting after their adventures! Thank you again, and if ever need a place at Lake Martin for your pets to stay and play please use Carter J.”

“Korol was an amazing sitter for our senior dog. She walked and played with our dog every day and it was clear that she gave our girl lots of love. It was the first time our dog seemed to really enjoy staying with a sitter. 5 stars!”
