Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). “I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

About: Our family has years of experience from adopting and caring for animals. My husband and I have raised a house full of pets and children that have been taught to love and respect each other. Our daughter Josie is our biggest help when it comes to the care we provide for our clients and has several years of experience as well. About: I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes from my experience in a vet clinic. I know what to look for when a dog is feeling un well or anxious. I have my own dog that is a cocker spaniel and he lives to play! I currently work at a job where I handle multiple dogs at once and I love it! I go on lots of walks and have a big yard to play! I work a part time job and am in college in town. I Am home most of the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Saturdays are my busy days but am still available to board. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are a little more unpredictable w my schedule but I am home by 5 maybe before. I have a large fenced yard and live across from a large dog friendly park/walking trail. I have a friendly dog to keep your baby company! If your dog is not crate trained it is no problem. And if they are, I have large crates.

I work from home (wfh) on Wednesdays and Fridays definitely, but sometimes there are additional days that I wfh. On those days, I have every opportunity to take your baby outside, go for a walk, or just play. If I’m in town on the weekends, I don’t mind taking your baby with me to run errands if you approve. I don’t have a fenced in yard yet, but I’m fully capable of keeping your fur baby safe and happy (and on a leash outside if necessary). We have plenty of room so there’s space to run around. Depending on the personality of your pet, I don’t mind allowing him or her on the furniture.

About: I've had pets since I was 7 years old. I've had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, a turtle, and rats! I've taken care of neighbors, friends, and family's pets as well several times. I trained my corgi from puppy hood how to do several tricks as well as potty-trained her. I work full time, but I always feed my dog twice a day, take her outside to potty 3-4 times a day, and make sure my cats litter box is clean several times a week, as well as her food/water being supplied and clean. Of course, in my free time, I also love to play with my pets and cuddle with them. Sometimes, on the weekends, I take my dog to a dog park. I am available during my lunch hour, 1-2pm, and after 5pm Monday through Friday. I am fully available on Saturdays and Sundays. I love love love animals. I will treat your fur baby as if he/she were my own. I like to make sure your fur baby feels safe with me. I'll get on their level, move slowly, talk in low volume, etc. I will do my very best to make an anxious/nervous dog feel at ease with me. I will leash your dog 100% of the time when we go outside, unless in a backyard. I'm always very aware of my surroundings when I go on a walk. Your pet is my #1 priority when I am with him/her.

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). “I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”
