As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.

I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. About: I got my first family dog at the age of 12 and he was a 100 pound chocolate Labrador named Max. When I moved to Germany, I was not allowed to take him so he currently lives with my brother. After moving back to the US, I got my own toy poodle at the age of 16 named Eymber and was completely responsible for her. Once I moved to college, I got her a puppy named Koko and they absolutely love eachother. Eymber is now 5 years old and koko is 1. Since I have owned many cats over the years I also consider myself experienced in cat care. I don’t mind cleaning up after pets and I can give medicine to unwilling pets. About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!

I have some weekly meetings that vary in times as well, but usually fall in-between 1 and 3pm. That leaves me with plenty of free time in the mornings, afternoons before 4pm, and evenings after 7pm. I’m also more available on weekends (aside from church on Sundays). This allows me to give your pets consistent care and attention throughout the day and night when needed! I provide pet care in your home so your dog feels comfortable in their own space and routine. I’m attentive and caring, making sure pets get regular walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of love. I also offer overnight stays, giving your pets companionship and consistency throughout the day and night. I keep things clean, follow your instructions closely, and make sure your home and pets are safe while you’re away. My goal is to give your dog the security and affection they need until you return.
About: I have always loved being around and taking care of animals. I currently have two dogs of my own and am responsible for feeding, grooming, and playing with them. Both of my babies come with their own special needs (one is deaf and the other has seizures) so I am well equipped to deal with any disabilities that may require special attention. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need.
