My family and I were away for 6 days, and unfortunately, KoKo started exhibiting signs of illness on day 2 into day 3! Kelly alerted me immediately but had already made calls and received pet Med advice and comforted me as well as informed me of diagnosis! She never pressured me to return and even prepared special meals for my KoKo to ease his discomfort!!!! Turns out that he had a horrible case of separation anxiety that was literally making him sick. About: Since I was a child, I've been raising and taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes. I've nursed plenty of bottle babies- kittens, puppies and even rodents and farm animals. I've worked at the Chattanooga Zoo and volunteered at shelters across the country, so there's nothing you can throw at me that I haven't seen before! About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and in the last five years, have raised three puppies into well-behaved, mature dogs, and cared for my two senior dogs until they passed. I personally trained my youngest dog and she is the best-behaved pup in public! I have experience with administering medication, grooming, training, feeding routines, and overall handling, especially dogs that are skittish or fearful. All of these skills helped me excel in both of my kennel assistant positions. I am patient and fully willing to provide care for senior or injured pets, as they hold a special place in my heart. I'm currently a full-time student at MSU, and will share my schedule when a booking request is made. I have gaps between my classes, and am generally done with school around 12 pm on T/TH and around 2-3pm on M/W/F. Again, I have gaps between classes so I am available at different times of day. I am fully free on the weekends! I have three dogs and two cats currently living at home, while I have my third car with me at college. My college car is also blind and one of my home dogs has a torn CCL, but they both are adored all the same. I wouldn't change it for the world! My dogs are on radio collars on occasion (generally when strays begin to appear), but more often than not, they are inside-outside dogs and are let out on average 4-6x a day. My own dog, Felix, has the torn CCL and gets leashwalked 4-6x a day as well. All of my cats are free-fed dry food, and my blind kitty gets fed a special dry food. My oldest cat (13 yrs) is also fed wet food as an additional food, 1-2x a day. Their litter box is cleaned weekly, as we do not scoop, but I do scoop my blind cat's litter box daily, as she is the only cat in the dorm and the box is suited specifically for her. In my clients home, I will follow any and all rules and regulations laid out of me. I love "excessive details" as they give me a better idea of how to properly care for the pets. I follow feeding times and amounts to a T, and double, triple, sometimes quadruple-checking amounts of everything, whether it be food, medications, or the amount of excrement I find. If anything looks off (behavior, excrement, appetite, etc.) the owner is immediately notified with a mentality of "what do you want me to do next?" My goal is to treat the pet as good as the owner does, in the time I am around them. On walks, I encourage proper walking skills (heeling, low reactivity), and try to help teach dogs as I do so. If allowed by the owner, I'd use low-calorie, high-reward treats with a clicker tool to help refine walking skills. This way the pet gets mental and physical stimulation, while being able to still be themself.

When walking your animal I will make sure the animal is only walked in its neighborhood and/or places that the owner is okay with.
About: I have cared for and have had both cats and dogs my entire life! I do not work therefore I have nothing but time to make sure your babies are cared for in the best way possible! I love all pets! I look forward to helping you while you are not with your pets I do not work so your pets will have my full attention! I can walk them, feed them, play with them, or just cuddle. Love cuddles with fur babies! I also bathe them too if needed I have a fenced in yard and a pet door so they may come and go as they need to!! Will treat them as if they are my own I stay at home so I have all the time in the world to give your babies as much as they need to feel safe and happy I will treat your babies as if they were my own! About: I absolutely love fur babies. I’ve had dogs all my life. My fur babies are my world and companions, and I will treat yours the same. I work full-time, but only work four days a week. The three days I have off I would be more than happy to take care of your fur babies wants and needs. I would definitely make sure your fur babies are on a leash when walking and walk in a safe environment. I will make sure they have plenty of food, water, and love.
About: I worked at a vet for two years and have had experience with boarding pets there, I’ve pet sat for many friends and family in their homes, and I worked with dogs on a daily basis at my former job as a dog bather. I have three dogs and a cat of my own and have many years of experience with cats since we owned several kitties back home. I’ve worked with dogs of all age, breed, and size so I am familiar with many different situations and quirks of the different breeds. My schedule is flexible! While I work full-time Monday through Friday, I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend care, and I can often adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. About: I have been taking care of all types of pets my entire life. I have experience working with senior cats and dogs that may need extra attention. During the school year I take care of pets on weekends and some holidays. During the summer I am available any time! (I’m a teacher) I have a German shepherd and 2 cats. They typically freely roam but the dog is crated when I am not home or at night.

Our dog has some memory problems at his old age, and Barbara met with us beforehand to allow him to meet her, and also her sweet dog and to allow our dog to visit the house beforehand. About: I love others pets like I love my own. I’ve had my own dog since I was 17 and took care of her in any way needed. I’m knowledgeable on a lot of things dealing with dogs as well as cats. I would sit with my friends cat when she would be gone to make sure she didn’t get into anything she wasn’t supposed to. I trained both of my dogs myself to sit, shake, and listen to basic commands. I currently am not employed. So I have all the time to take care of your pets throughout the week (Monday-Friday). Early mornings for when you need to drop off before work/ school and late evenings to give you some time to get home and ready for your fur baby! I have a fenced in back yard where my dog stays. So if you would like your dog to have some doggie playtime she would enjoy that! If not that is completely fine and if you have a crate that you would like your pet to stay in I will use that! Whatever works for you!

Unfortunately he had a few incidents of peeing indoors . Stephanie was very patient with our Grizz.
