My family and I were away for 6 days, and unfortunately, KoKo started exhibiting signs of illness on day 2 into day 3! Kelly alerted me immediately but had already made calls and received pet Med advice and comforted me as well as informed me of diagnosis! She never pressured me to return and even prepared special meals for my KoKo to ease his discomfort!!!! Turns out that he had a horrible case of separation anxiety that was literally making him sick. But Kelly and her family acted quickly and within 36 hours, helped KoKo settle and return to his normal playful healthy state! She kept us updated on her behaviors and also very kindly updated us on any concerns around our house (there appeared to be a water leak in our home while we were away - she looked after the issue during her visits and even cleaned up the water). About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and in the last five years, have raised three puppies into well-behaved, mature dogs, and cared for my two senior dogs until they passed. I personally trained my youngest dog and she is the best-behaved pup in public! I have experience with administering medication, grooming, training, feeding routines, and overall handling, especially dogs that are skittish or fearful. All of these skills helped me excel in both of my kennel assistant positions. I am patient and fully willing to provide care for senior or injured pets, as they hold a special place in my heart. I'm currently a full-time student at MSU, and will share my schedule when a booking request is made. I have gaps between my classes, and am generally done with school around 12 pm on T/TH and around 2-3pm on M/W/F. Again, I have gaps between classes so I am available at different times of day. I am fully free on the weekends! I have three dogs and two cats currently living at home, while I have my third car with me at college. My college car is also blind and one of my home dogs has a torn CCL, but they both are adored all the same. I wouldn't change it for the world! My dogs are on radio collars on occasion (generally when strays begin to appear), but more often than not, they are inside-outside dogs and are let out on average 4-6x a day. My own dog, Felix, has the torn CCL and gets leashwalked 4-6x a day as well. All of my cats are free-fed dry food, and my blind kitty gets fed a special dry food. My oldest cat (13 yrs) is also fed wet food as an additional food, 1-2x a day. Their litter box is cleaned weekly, as we do not scoop, but I do scoop my blind cat's litter box daily, as she is the only cat in the dorm and the box is suited specifically for her. In my clients home, I will follow any and all rules and regulations laid out of me. I love "excessive details" as they give me a better idea of how to properly care for the pets. I follow feeding times and amounts to a T, and double, triple, sometimes quadruple-checking amounts of everything, whether it be food, medications, or the amount of excrement I find. If anything looks off (behavior, excrement, appetite, etc.) the owner is immediately notified with a mentality of "what do you want me to do next?" My goal is to treat the pet as good as the owner does, in the time I am around them. On walks, I encourage proper walking skills (heeling, low reactivity), and try to help teach dogs as I do so. If allowed by the owner, I'd use low-calorie, high-reward treats with a clicker tool to help refine walking skills. This way the pet gets mental and physical stimulation, while being able to still be themself.

About: I am a CMA, and have worked in 4 vets offices over the years. I can give medication (oral, topicals or shots). I have been a groomer for 9ish years (traveling to homes and in grooming shops). I also come packing a huge heart ready to love whatever babies you have. I have cared for them all and really to care for yours!💜 I recently had surgery in March but have been cleared for work. I am a mobile groomer for myself so my schedule is very flexible. Working with vets/in hospitals, I have learned the best way to keep your animals safe and happy is to stay in their own home. Cars and new environments can cause a lot of stress or anxiety. Drop in visits and house sitting keeps your pet in a safe and comfortable place without the exposure to others or their pets.

About: We have raised and take care of all three of our dogs! We also pet sit my sister’s Golden Retriever sometimes! This includes feeding, walking, playing, exercising, bathing, etc. We have crate and potty trained all three of our personal pets. Our dogs sleep with us at night and are allowed on our furniture. Any dog we keep is treated like our own! My husband and I both work full time jobs, but my husband Brandon is a school teacher so he is home all summer. Your dogs are rarely ever crated… only if we have an errand to run. Our typical weekend is spent at the dog park, in the drive thru at Dunkin’ for pup cups, and lounging on the couch! My husband is home during the summer, and we have a fenced in backyard, so the dogs are let out to play and potty multiple times during the day. We feed our dogs twice a day- once in the morning & once at night, but let us know if you have a different schedule and we will keep your dog on it! We have three dogs of our own that sleep with us at night and are allowed on our furniture. Blu is three and loves to play with new friends! Ellie is four and would prefer to lay on her bed and chew her bone! Any dog we keep is treated like our own!
