“First time Rover user had a most excellent experience with Jennifer. Jennifer is caring, calm, attentive, and very responsive. She provided my doodle a safe, comfortable environment for her stay. I highly recommend Jennifer.”

“Whitney took great care of my fur baby!! She accepted willow into her home with loving and caring arms. She sent me videos and pictures of her and made sure she was well taken care of. Will definitely keep using Whitney in the future!”

“Miss Jennifer was wonderful! I was glad she suggested a meet and greet before the stay. She was easy to communicate with and kept in touch during Gabby’s stay with pics and videos. Was understanding about medication. I felt like she spoiled my baby even more than me! I would highly recommend and will use her again for sure!”

“Ally was so amazing with my Goose! She absolutely loved playing with all her goldens! Ally was super responsive to any question or text I sent and also sent daily updates with pictures! Will definitely be rebooking with Ally, she’s a wonderful person to watch your babies!”

“Talhia and her husband were absolute life savers! Booked a last minute rover with her and she responded within minutes and was more than welcoming for our pup. She kept us updated throughout the whole stay with pictures and even sent her home with a new toy and bandana! My dog did not want to leave. Would 100% recommend and book again.”

“Very very please as 1st timer myself on Rover! Sarah was definitely a Godsend in the last minute booking of my fury family member. Thanks again for your pictures throughout the day and glad your little boy made a new friend w our Ellie! Good luck to you and your family in the future.”

“I gave a 5 star review, solely, based on how our baby hollered with his mouth wide open when it was time to go. We have never heard him wail like this ever before. He truly enjoyed himself. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby. He is still catching up on rest the following day. He was worn slap out! ❤️✅🎉”

“She was great. House was clean, doggie updates were adorable and pups came home happy and bathed. Be really specific on pick up and drop off times well in advance and this is a perfect sitter”

“Cassidy took wonderful care of our baby! We had boarded her before and she was miserable. From the pictures that Cassidy sent daily, Blue had a vacation too! I will absolutely be using Cassidy again! She was wonderful. Highly recommend”

About: I have three years of dog-sitting experience, caring for everything from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.
“Thank you for caring for Dante ! He came back home a happy baby ! Amber definitely took good care of him and I couldn’t of been more pleased 😃 definitely will book with her again in the future”

“Highly recommend!! Morgan sent me photos and videos throughout the entire weekend and my dog was always playing and having fun. Her dogs were playing with my lab all weekend. I felt very comfortable knowing he was in good hands and will absolutely book with Morgan again!”

We got daily updates and photos, and the pups were definitely loved on by her and her family while we were gone. About: Just an animal lover. I’ve had ducks, rabbits, dogs and cats all my life. Right now I have two dogs who love to play and eat treats. Can help with potty training and other common tricks. I work full time as an electrician Monday-Friday. I’m gone from 5am-2:30pm. I have a doggy door with a fenced in backyard so my two dogs roam the house/yard as they please. If you don’t want your pets to roam during the day I’ll take them out in the morning and when I get home. And at 3pm we can do whatever they want walk/hike/swim/relax. I have a fenced in backyard with a doggy door access. Multiple cameras to keep an eye on everyone and neighbors ready to help out if needed.
“Breanna was amazing - she sat my dogs last minute and was great about sending pictures with them, flexible with pick up and drop off, and helped me enjoy the weekend worry free knowing she had my pups. Will def be sitting with her again!”

About: I may not have a "boss," but I’ve spent my entire life reporting to cats! Growing up in a household with 10+ cats, I learned early on that every feline is a total individual—from the shy hiders and the "spicy" divas to the constant cuddlers. Since I don't currently have pets of my own, your cats will get 100% of my attention and affection. I’ve spent years living with roommates and family members who own cats, so I’m highly respectful of home boundaries and strict feeding routines

“Jake took such great care of my pets! He was able to handle my cat, senior dog and our puppies, was such a lifesaver while I was out of town. The pictures he took are so cute too, would definitely recommend Jake watching your pets, he treated them with a lot of care.”

“April is the best! I feel so fortunate to have found her. Her check in videos are my favorites! and she makes art with the treats as an extra touch. My cat loves her so.”

About: I have always loved cats, I have one of my own! Her name is Zelda and I love her like she’s my baby. I will change their water, feed them, love on them, play with them, and even change their litter! Whatever your cats needs are, I’m on it!

“Isabella is hands down the best pet sitter I’ve had the privilege of hiring. She was very flexible with my last minute needs, her communication is top tier, and If there was ever a problem (my fault) she was good at letting me know. My puppy is a big fan of her per the daily photos I received. She has won me over as a repeat client and I look forward to taking another trip without the stress of worrying about my puppy’s needs. Thank you again, Isabella! (:”

“Macie was absolutely amazing! I needed someone on very short notice after the person I originally had lined up let me down, and she was able to step in and be there for my babies when I really needed someone. She did such a great job with my dogs and sent me lots of pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I could tell they were well cared for and in good hands with her. I’m so thankful she was able to help us out, and I would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend! ❤️🐾”

About: I've been a cat person since I was a little girl. I believe cats are confident, but complicated creatures. Cats only provide a special type of love that feels like you have to earn it. I've worked with animals for 5 years I am no stranger for messy litter box or medication
“Sarina did an absolutely amazing job watching over my cat while I was away. Very warm person when I met her ahead of the days she’d be watching my cat, and she was great with communication and with making sure my cat was fed and happy. Highly recommend her for any of your sitting needs!”

“Leah was absolutely incredible, took such good care of our fur babies and made sure to keep me updated every single day with tons of pictures! We definitely recommend using Leah to take care of your babies as well, you won’t be disappointed in any way. Our cats all seemed so happy, Leah even brought our cats toys for a Christmas present which was so nice and shows how much Leah really cares about your animals. We will definitely be booking again when we need a sitter again! ☺️”

“First time using rover, and I didnt have to worry about my pups at all while I was gone. She took great care of my them! She sent updates and photos and let me know of anything concerning, which I appreciate. She even dripped my faucets while I was gone, and I didnt even ask or think about that! I try not to leave my pups home alone, but if I ever have to, I'd happily trust her again! Thanks Haven!”

About: Every dog is treated like family and cared for in a quiet, low-stress (300 acre) farm environment designed around their comfort and routine. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in small-scale, boutique boarding with only dogs from one family at a time, ensuring close attention, consistency, and a calm atmosphere. Dogs follow a steady, predictable routine that includes outdoor time in a large fenced play area with partial shade for running and play, daily leash walks around the property, enrichment activities, and rest tailored to each dog’s individual needs and energy level. Dogs are thoughtfully matched by temperament to support a safe, comfortable environment. I have two well-socialized dogs of my own who enjoy other dogs, but interaction is always based on each visiting dog’s comfort level. If a dog prefers space or does best without other dogs, they can have a calm, low-traffic stay with minimal or no interaction. For dogs who enjoy socializing, my dogs provide friendly companionship in a supervised, relaxed setting. For dogs who do best on their own, I also offer the option of exclusive care—meaning no other client dogs will be booked during their stay. This allows for a fully personalized experience with my full attention. Dogs stay in a clean, climate-controlled indoor suite with indoor rest areas and direct access to a private fenced outdoor space. The focus is on individualized, attentive care where each dog can relax, feel secure, and settle in quickly. Caring for your dog is part of my daily routine since I’m home full-time on the 300 acre farm with the dogs throughout the day. Dogs enjoy a consistent schedule that includes outdoor play, walks, enrichment, meals, and rest, all tailored to their individual needs and energy levels. I stay hands-on with their care and provide regular updates so you feel comfortable while you're away. I provide structured, attentive care in a calm farm setting designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dogs enjoy outdoor play, leash walks, enrichment activities, meals, and rest breaks tailored to their individual needs and energy levels. I provide regular up-dates with photos and videos, and you can check in any time to see how your pup is doing. Dogs have access to a clean, climate-controlled indoors, which is especially helpful for dogs who need their own space or do best with limited interaction. Since I also have two dogs of my own, I carefully manage introductions and can provide fully separate accommodations with no direct contact with other dogs if needed. There’s also a separate large fenced and partially shaded outdoor area where dogs can safely play, explore, and relax throughout the day.
“Jennifer and Erwin were AMAZING! She was lovely and communicated with me quickly and clearly. She took great care of my kitten. She even washed my kittens blanket!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.”

“Thank you so much for taking care of our Pikey!! You showed up last minute when we didn’t know what we were going to do with her when we were both at work. She has come a long way in her puppy development thanks to you. We highly recommend you to anyone who is thinking of booking you as a sitter!”

“I really appreciate Morgan. My schedule unfortunately almost caused a conflict with hers and she still went above and beyond to make sure Max enjoyed himself. Even as I picked Max up he continued to attempt to leave the car to go back with her, I could tell he enjoyed himself with her dog as well. Very appreciative! Definitely reach out to her about your fur baby.”

“Samantha did an amazing job! She was very accommodating as our drop off time was very last minute. She sent updates and we felt like our pup was in great hands the whole time. We will definitely reach out again when we are back in the area.”

“Zoe has a level of care for pets and for people that makes her stand out from the rest. She puts in so much time and love into making sure you AND your pet is comfortable. By far one of the best communicators I’ve encountered on Rover. Cannot say enough great things. 100/10”

I’ve also provided traditional pet sitting services, checking in on dogs, feeding them, and taking them for walks. I am extremely detail-oriented and committed to following all instructions exactly as given to ensure pets remain comfortable, safe, and happy whether they are in their home environment or mine. I am a college student home for the summer and I am working a part time job 20 hours per week at Lake Forest Racquet Club. Therefore, I have a very flexible schedule as I usually only work from 7 A.M. to 12 P.M. four days a week. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, structure, and stimulation. In a client’s home, I strictly follow all instructions and respect their space while maintaining a calm and clean environment for the pet. In my own home, I ensure pets receive plenty of attention, mental stimulation, and physical activity through regular walks and playtime. “Sarah was so great!!! Needed a very last minute dog sitter and she came through for me! She could not have been any sweeter or more accommodating! Will definitely be calling her again!”

About: Hello! I'm looking forward to spending some of my time caring for your pets while you're away! I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. I am just offering the quality of care I want given to my animals when I am away. Any questions? Let's talk! My schedule during the day is pretty flexible as I work from home full time. I am also free during the weekend. What kind of care are you looking for and what days do you have in mind? I do offer a fenced yard and calm, child-free day care and pet sitting for those with proof of vaccination. I live in a house with plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable. I am also able to take your dogs on leashed walks on the river trail or around town. My schedule is pretty flexible, I work from home so I have lots of autonomy. I’m home most of the time so there’s constant supervision. I have a fenced yard and extra bedrooms to offer a quiet space if your pet prefers to be away from the pack. Otherwise, I allow the animals in the house to nap, roam, and play wherever they'd like. My dogs are pretty social, they get along well with others and enjoy the dog park. My cats are also used to being around dogs and are pretty relaxed about it.

I have a lot of experience working with animals with separation anxiety. I am offering drop in visits, because I have two cats that live in my home right now! If your dog or cat loves cats, we could definitely discuss an overnight stay in which I would keep them mostly separate! (or not if they all get along) I am flexible and can clean up messes if your pet makes them while you are gone as well. I will make sure your pet's water is always CLEAN and fresh, and make sure they get lots of love while you are gone. I specialize in watching cats, but I also love dogs and I will be willing to discuss in-home stays.

She kept us updated throughout the whole stay with pictures and even sent her home with a new toy and bandana! My dog did not want to leave. Would 100% recommend and book again.”

“Leanna was perfect! I am most definitely a crazy dog mom and she made me feel super comfortable about leaving my pup. She also sent me pictures randomly to show me what a good time thor was having and send a video when I was missing him and asked how he was. She was super sweet and worked with me for pick up and drop off times. I will definitely use Leanna again for any future bookings!”

“Gina is wonderful! We had tried a few places to bring our dog when we left town and Gina's place has been the best place for our fur baby :) she is very punctual, responsive, available, and always provides a detailed update that we appreciate. We like to use her regularly knowing Rooney is in good hands and has two other nice dogs to play with in a fenced back yard! Thanks Gina!”
