Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

About: We love dogs! But right now with 7 kids in the throws of school and all the extracurriculars, it’s just not the right time for us to have our own furry family member, so let us love on yours! My husband and I each had dogs growing up and we had a family dog until he passed away a few years ago. We have been boarding, walking, and doing drop-ins since that time. From puppies to senior dogs, we can take care of them all. I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools my 7 children, so we’re home the majority of the time and will be able to fit in your dog’s regular schedule into our every day routine. When pets stay at our house we do our best to keep the same schedule and expectations the dogs have come to know at their homes. I enjoy going for walks at the park and visiting the dog park with dogs who are accustomed to it. We do not have a fenced yard, so I make sure each pet gets adequate exercise each day on a leash. When I come to your home, I will follow your directions exactly as you desire and provide pictures and GPS “walking time cards” via Rover so you can be assured your pet is receiving the high quality care you paid for!

About: Ever since I was 6 years old I’ve had an unusual connection with dogs. They are my world. For some reason they always seem to find me. I’m the person you see on the highway going after a lost dog. I’ve had 6 dogs at once before. I can’t seem to say no to dogs needing a home. It’s my happiness. I have my own company and pick my own hours so I’m able to work around schedules to make sure I take care of the animals. About: I have always had dogs as pets since I was 3 years old! I had 4 growing up and have always had at least two at a time! I have a passion for caring for pets and believe all pets should be treated like our family! I do have some experience in dog first aid and will always care for your pup as my own! I work from home full time so I am able to play with the dogs and take them on walks/hike often! I have a 3 acre yard that is tucked away and an absolute oasis for dogs! I have two dogs of my own so I am already on a potty break schedule every two hours at least! I will always treat your pet like they are my family! “Flash had a great day in Doggie Daycare with Emily and her family! They played with him and took him for a walk. They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. You can tell they love dogs and it made me happy that Flash was comfortable with them. I recommend them as dog sitters and plan to book with them again!”
About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past,and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous,what treats they like,any meds needed,and so forth. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water,food,and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

I will make sure your fur baby has food and water, I go by the book when given instructions on how you want your fur baby taken care of, I don’t mind crating them but if you don’t crate them I am absolutely be okay with them cuddling up to me while we watch tv. I can do check ins so that way I can spend 30 minutes to an hour making sure your fur baby goes on a walk and has exercise.

About: I love dog. I’m a very out doors person. I play in college so with me I love taking them on walks the dog park. I’m currently a student-athlete playing volleyball at Birmingham, and I’m home all day after practice and have a flexible schedule. I’m very disciplined with my time, so I can reliably care for pets early mornings, evenings, or throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m doing this to help support my schooling, so I take it seriously. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet. I have a spacious apartment and a pet washing station so I can always give your pet a bath and a pet-friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel at ease. I also have experience being around other dogs, so I’m attentive to their behavior and make sure everyone is supervised and comfortable.

About: I’ve had dogs (&cats) for as long as I can remember. I adore animals and promise to provide the best care to them and your home! I have a very open schedule at the moment and I’m very “go with the flow”. I’m willing to make accommodations or changes as needed that will give us both the best experience. “If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”
