About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. I had a diabetic cat who also had seizures. I nursed her basically back to health and she lived 5 more years after her first seizure. She was 19 years old when she finally passed. My whole family has had cats all my life. Every fur animal has a different personality that you just have to learn.

About: I am a German Shepherd breeder, and have raised, trained and cared for dogs my entire life. I am able to keep your pet with my friendly play groups, or provide independent time. I am home almost every day for 90% of the day, so I'm always here to tend to the dogs and provide round the clock care for my own and my clients dogs. I have a fenced yard for dogs who get along with my other dogs, they can join our pre existing play groups. Independent walks and play can also be provided for the dogs less keen on making friends. I can do drop ins for any pets, furry, feathered or otherwise, but I am only able to board dogs 20+lbs at my home.

About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, helping at church, and making greeting cards. My two dogs are with me the entire day. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.

About: Homeport - Indoor accommodation for your pet with large wooded lot on a private road in Harris County. A large deck to lay in the sunshine on pretty afternoons. Indoors we have an open floor plan that the pets are free to roam in. The pets are free or crated overnight based on your preference. We have a 7 pound Yorkie Poo who gets along with our houseguests, dogs or cats! We should have a meet and greet prior to them checking in at Homeport. We can schedule a meet and greet at my home for you and your pup to meet me and I y’all. I’ll be very flexible on the schedule of that. I walk them twice a day if your babies are accustomed to leash walking and have them out on the deck with other guests for playtime twice a day. You will receive at least one picture of their romping or napping everyday. I charge by the calendar day. The day you pick up (or I pick up) your pet and the day you drop off (or I drop them off) are both days that I have to accommodate you and your pet into my schedule and pet care is provided.I offer the service of taking your pet home the day of your arrival so that they will be there when you arrive home. Please let me know when you make your reservations what times you wish to schedule for pickup/drop-off and give me at least 24 hours notice if you need to make changes. If your dog is not fully house trained or has any accidents during their stay there is a $5 per day charge. All pets must be neutered and spayed. They must be dog friendly. For your protection, all pets are screened prior to acceptance. If pets are not picked up by closing they will board over night at owners expense. All pets will be checked for fleas and ticks. If any pet comes in with fleas or ticks, a bath might be required. All dogs must be up to date on shots Rabies, Dhlpp & Bordetella Pet care and boarding is my primary occupation. My entire day and night is focused on caring for your family member. We may go for a walk around my neighborhood or they may be in the yard with me while I work in my garden. On days that aren’t nice they will be comfortable napping wherever they are most comfortable. Guests are treated as at home and fed and exercised according to your instructions. Often I feed them white skinless chicken breast if no allergies.

About: WARNING- I send soooooo many pic and video updates to pet parents. If you don’t like for constant updates I may not be the sitter for you. I am a huge dog person, my aunt is a veterinary technician, and since I was a child, I went to work with her every weekend to assist her with cleaning the kennels, sitting with the dogs the veterinary clinic owned. If they need medication I have no problem giving it to your baby. About: Im doing this full time. Im also doing this because I love and care for animals and their wellbeing. I believe finding someone good and kind for your fur babies matters. I make sure they get plenty of pets and attention. I don’t let their water run out and refill as much as possible especially during summer. I am understanding and patient with animals especially if they have high energy and need to be outside a bit more than others to get some exercise/ energy out. I care about animals period. I have a pretty big range of experience with different dogs. I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at a time different sizes and ages. I’ve taken care of a diabetic cat (my baby she lived a very long life 19 years) I have taken care of a diabetic dog also. I got a puppy 8-weeks who is now 5 years old which he is a husky so very energetic and talkative. Taken care of giving elderly dogs medicine. I communicate pretty well. I also make taking care of your fur babies a priority. Thank you for choosing me! I can house sit and stay overnights if needed. I will make taking care of your fur babies a priority and treat them as if their were mine. (I have a husky) If you do a drop in visit I will be there longer than just 30 minutes. I don’t like to leave my baby for more than 4-5 hours max. That’s why I offer going to drop in 3 times. I can always adjust the price accordingly. I don’t mind traveling to make sure your fur baby is taken care of throughout the day. I can take your fur baby walking giving them water and some love. If you have a fenced in yard I will still go and watch them outside you never know what could happen. I will update you as much as you would like.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens while traveling throughout the South East. I graduated from Auburn in August of 2021 and since then I have been driving everywhere I can to take care of animals in new places. I have loved sitting in the Columbus/Phenix City/Smiths Station area and look forward to taking care of more fur-babies in my area! I would be happy to sit in Auburn or Fort Mitchell as well, anywhere within an hour and I’m sure we can work it out! I have provided care for all kinds of critters, big, little, elderly, sick, grumpy, and silly, (most of them are silly). I strive to be the best provider for your pet-loved ones! About: Even though I joined the military my passion for dogs never faded.I am the odd one out in my family that loovveeesss dogs and of course I have my own pack of dogs. I volunteer at the PAWS Humane Society animal shelter to help walk dogs at least once a week. I have a pack of 3 dogs. They are all well trained pitbull class dogs well socialized some a little more than the other lol.
About: I’ve had cats and dogs growing up and I now have two dogs of my own. I have a german shepherd/husky and an Aussiedor. I’ve cared for other pets like birds, lizards, chinchillas, etc. I am currently not working so I have plenty of pet time. My dogs are taken out very often, and we go on long walk/runs at least once a day. We play a lot of fetch and tug-o-war! I have two friendly dogs that love to make new friends and my 5-year-old son is obsessed with loving on all animals so there is plenty of fun and love to go around for your fur babies in this home.
About: I’ve had many animals throughout my life and know that caring for them is my passion. I recently lost my Australian shepherd so this will be filling the void! I’m currently going out for maternity leave at work so my schedule is very open to all the fur babies. Size and breed are not an issue I have a fenced in back yard if that’s what your baby is needing. If they are inside then they are welcome to be a furry couch potato!
About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was around 9 years old, starting with my own pets and helping out with the pets of friends and family. While I haven’t done it professionally until now, I’ve always been the go-to person when someone needed a trustworthy and loving caregiver for their furry friend. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and love giving them the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or in-home visits, I treat every pet like my own, with patience, playfulness, and lots of love! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I recently graduated, so I currently have a very open and flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for! When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and relaxed in their familiar space. During visits, I make sure they get plenty of attention, whether that means playtime, cuddles, a walk, or just some calm companionship. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely, from feeding routines to favorite toys and potty breaks. I know how important it is to maintain your pet’s usual routine, so I do everything I can to make each visit feel safe, fun, and stress-free for both you and your furry friend!
About: I have spent my life around cats and dogs, and currently have a 5 year old dog of my own. My family also fosters and homes dogs to this day so the love for animals runs deep! I am familiar with training of animals, walking them, caring for medical needs, and providing all the pets they want and need! I have a lot of free time outside of my full time job and would love to spend it around animals. My schedule is flexible and always changing so I can accept a wide range of pet sitting/walking/feeding. New to Rover, but would treat your four legged best friend like it was my own pet! I am new to the Opelika area and between jobs. Currently, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and can make any day of the week work. About: I’ve been asked to pet sit for a variety of pets over the years. Anywhere from cats and dogs to bearded dragons and horses! I’m a quick learner and can adapt just as fast to match whatever needs are required. I also own two mixed dogs and an orange tabby cat myself. I am a newly wed who recently moved into town and am still getting settled. Until I get connected with my work, I have a TON of free time! I’d love to get to be surrounded by fur babies as much as possible! I love to let the critters set the pace when getting to know me. I believe there needs to be an established bond of trust before anything else. And I LOVE to love on them once they let me! I can never get enough pets and snuggles! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was literally 2. I love them all. I go to animal ark also and sometimes volunteer there. Never really had any issues Currently I’m only working part time so whenever I have extra time I would love to dedicate it to helping people with their animals when they are busy.
