“We needed someone to watch a very active 1.5yr old Brittany, and we are really picky about who watches our animals. Sandra was recommended and boarding with her and Mark was the best experience ever. Missy’s stay with them was literally a doggy vacation with a Giant yard to play in, long walks, huge professional kennel for her to lounge in, and, picture/video updates every day! They even have a TV in the temperature controlled kennel space so our girl could listen to tv like she is used to at our house. I look forward to using them again. They are a bit of a drive for me but I will use them every time over trying any of the 15 closer results rover showed me. It is well worth the peace of mind knowing that your dogs are being pampered not just boarded.”

About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. I had a diabetic cat who also had seizures. I nursed her basically back to health and she lived 5 more years after her first seizure. She was 19 years old when she finally passed. My whole family has had cats all my life. Every fur animal has a different personality that you just have to learn.

About: I am a German Shepherd breeder, and have raised, trained and cared for dogs my entire life. I am able to keep your pet with my friendly play groups, or provide independent time. I am home almost every day for 90% of the day, so I'm always here to tend to the dogs and provide round the clock care for my own and my clients dogs. I have a fenced yard for dogs who get along with my other dogs, they can join our pre existing play groups. Independent walks and play can also be provided for the dogs less keen on making friends. I can do drop ins for any pets, furry, feathered or otherwise, but I am only able to board dogs 20+lbs at my home.

About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. About: Homeport - Indoor accommodation for your pet with large wooded lot on a private road in Harris County. A large deck to lay in the sunshine on pretty afternoons. Indoors we have an open floor plan that the pets are free to roam in. The pets are free or crated overnight based on your preference. We have a 7 pound Yorkie Poo who gets along with our houseguests, dogs or cats! We should have a meet and greet prior to them checking in at Homeport. We can schedule a meet and greet at my home for you and your pup to meet me and I y’all. I’ll be very flexible on the schedule of that. I walk them twice a day if your babies are accustomed to leash walking and have them out on the deck with other guests for playtime twice a day. You will receive at least one picture of their romping or napping everyday. I charge by the calendar day. The day you pick up (or I pick up) your pet and the day you drop off (or I drop them off) are both days that I have to accommodate you and your pet into my schedule and pet care is provided.I offer the service of taking your pet home the day of your arrival so that they will be there when you arrive home. Please let me know when you make your reservations what times you wish to schedule for pickup/drop-off and give me at least 24 hours notice if you need to make changes. If your dog is not fully house trained or has any accidents during their stay there is a $5 per day charge. All pets must be neutered and spayed. They must be dog friendly. For your protection, all pets are screened prior to acceptance. If pets are not picked up by closing they will board over night at owners expense. All pets will be checked for fleas and ticks. If any pet comes in with fleas or ticks, a bath might be required. All dogs must be up to date on shots Rabies, Dhlpp & Bordetella Pet care and boarding is my primary occupation. My entire day and night is focused on caring for your family member. We may go for a walk around my neighborhood or they may be in the yard with me while I work in my garden. On days that aren’t nice they will be comfortable napping wherever they are most comfortable. Guests are treated as at home and fed and exercised according to your instructions. Often I feed them white skinless chicken breast if no allergies.

About: This is my job. I know how hard it can be to leave your fur babies when you go outta town and I want to be able to provide comfort and care for your animals while you are gone. I love and care for animals and their wellbeing. I believe finding someone good and kind for your fur babies matters. I make sure they get plenty of pets and attention. I don’t let their water run out and refill as much as possible especially during summer. I am understanding and patient with animals especially if they have high energy and need to be outside a bit more than others to get some exercise/ energy out. I care about animals period. I have a pretty big range of experience with different dogs. I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at a time different sizes and ages. I’ve taken care of a diabetic cat (my baby she lived a very long life 19 years) I have taken care of a diabetic dog also. I got a puppy 8-weeks who is now 5 years old which he is a husky so very energetic and talkative. Taken care of giving elderly dogs medicine. I communicate pretty well. I also make taking care of your fur babies a priority. Thank you for choosing me! I can house sit and stay overnights if needed. I will make taking care of your fur babies a priority and treat them as if their were mine. (I have a husky) If you do a drop in visit I will be there longer than just 30 minutes. I don’t like to leave my baby for more than 4-5 hours max. That’s why I offer going to drop in 3 times. I don’t mind traveling to make sure your fur baby is taken care of throughout the day. I can take your fur baby walking giving them water and some love. If you have a fenced in yard I will still go and watch them outside you never know what could happen. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens while traveling throughout the South East. I graduated from Auburn in August of 2021 and since then I have been driving everywhere I can to take care of animals in new places. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and always do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel as comfortable and loved as possible. I crate trained both of my dogs while they were potty training, so I also have a large crate available if that fits your pet’s needs.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was around 9 years old, starting with my own pets and helping out with the pets of friends and family. While I haven’t done it professionally until now, I’ve always been the go-to person when someone needed a trustworthy and loving caregiver for their furry friend. About: I’ve had cats and dogs growing up and I now have two dogs of my own. I have a german shepherd/husky and an Aussiedor. I’ve cared for other pets like birds, lizards, chinchillas, etc. I am currently not working so I have plenty of pet time. My dogs are taken out very often, and we go on long walk/runs at least once a day. We play a lot of fetch and tug-o-war! I have two friendly dogs that love to make new friends and my 5-year-old son is obsessed with loving on all animals so there is plenty of fun and love to go around for your fur babies in this home.

I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)
About: I have spent my life around cats and dogs, and currently have a 5 year old dog of my own. My family also fosters and homes dogs to this day so the love for animals runs deep! I am familiar with training of animals, walking them, caring for medical needs, and providing all the pets they want and need! About: I’ve been asked to pet sit for a variety of pets over the years. Anywhere from cats and dogs to bearded dragons and horses! I’m a quick learner and can adapt just as fast to match whatever needs are required. I also own two mixed dogs and an orange tabby cat myself. Missy’s stay with them was literally a doggy vacation with a Giant yard to play in, long walks, huge professional kennel for her to lounge in, and, picture/video updates every day! They even have a TV in the temperature controlled kennel space so our girl could listen to tv like she is used to at our house. I look forward to using them again. They are a bit of a drive for me but I will use them every time over trying any of the 15 closer results rover showed me. It is well worth the peace of mind knowing that your dogs are being pampered not just boarded.”
