About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. I had a diabetic cat who also had seizures. I nursed her basically back to health and she lived 5 more years after her first seizure. She was 19 years old when she finally passed. My whole family has had cats all my life. Every fur animal has a different personality that you just have to learn.

My love and experience with dogs started at home—my dad was a dog trainer who worked with his own dogs as well as dogs belonging to friends and family. About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, helping at church, and making greeting cards. My two dogs are with me the entire day. About: Homeport - Indoor accommodation for your pet with large wooded lot on a private road in Harris County. A large deck to lay in the sunshine on pretty afternoons. Indoors we have an open floor plan that the pets are free to roam in. The pets are free or crated overnight based on your preference. We have a 7 pound Yorkie Poo who gets along with our houseguests, dogs or cats! We should have a meet and greet prior to them checking in at Homeport. We can schedule a meet and greet at my home for you and your pup to meet me and I y’all. I’ll be very flexible on the schedule of that. I walk them twice a day if your babies are accustomed to leash walking and have them out on the deck with other guests for playtime twice a day. You will receive at least one picture of their romping or napping everyday. I charge by the calendar day. The day you pick up (or I pick up) your pet and the day you drop off (or I drop them off) are both days that I have to accommodate you and your pet into my schedule and pet care is provided.I offer the service of taking your pet home the day of your arrival so that they will be there when you arrive home. Please let me know when you make your reservations what times you wish to schedule for pickup/drop-off and give me at least 24 hours notice if you need to make changes. If your dog is not fully house trained or has any accidents during their stay there is a $5 per day charge. All pets must be neutered and spayed. They must be dog friendly. For your protection, all pets are screened prior to acceptance. If pets are not picked up by closing they will board over night at owners expense. All pets will be checked for fleas and ticks. If any pet comes in with fleas or ticks, a bath might be required. All dogs must be up to date on shots Rabies, Dhlpp & Bordetella Pet care and boarding is my primary occupation. My entire day and night is focused on caring for your family member. We may go for a walk around my neighborhood or they may be in the yard with me while I work in my garden. On days that aren’t nice they will be comfortable napping wherever they are most comfortable. Guests are treated as at home and fed and exercised according to your instructions. Often I feed them white skinless chicken breast if no allergies.

Chip (beagle mix) is 30 lb bundle of love and playfulness and gets along well with large or small breeds Nephi is a 4 year old husky mix and Roxie is a 2 year old mixed breed. We have a large fenced yard and I am home full time. I can offer daycare and overnight boarding. I will care for your fur baby as I expect mine to be, like a member of our family. I prefer dogs that are crate trained in case I need to run errands and prefer not to let them run free inside with no one home. We get lots of exercise and cuddle time. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. Growing up, I lived on a farm with all kinds of furry friends. I also foster various types of dogs and cats, all ages and conditions. I’ve got a chunky rescue dog named Piglet and three rescue cats named Simba, Tuxedo and Marshmallow. I work from home in IT and have tons of time to step away from my desk. I will make taking care of your fur babies a priority and treat them as if their were mine. (I have a husky) If you do a drop in visit I will be there longer than just 30 minutes. I don’t like to leave my baby for more than 4-5 hours max. That’s why I offer going to drop in 3 times. I don’t mind traveling to make sure your fur baby is taken care of throughout the day. I can take your fur baby walking giving them water and some love. If you have a fenced in yard I will still go and watch them outside you never know what could happen. I will update you as much as you would like.

My schedule is flexible and always changing so I can accept a wide range of pet sitting/walking/feeding. I care for my dog in a very loving manner, he is pet constantly, taken on a generous amount of walks, and steals a lot of my attention for throwing his ball.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and birds, took care of them myself, and then got my own once I moved out! we have chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, snakes, mice, and a cat! we had a dog and a rabbit at one point so I'm very versed in caring for all kinds of babies! I'm a stay at home mom so, other than my baby and my pets, they'll have my full attention on a daily basis. if we leave the home, we're never out too long. I have multiple animals myself. I tend to keep little supply kits in case of emergency and extra supplies at all times. I love all animals and would go way out of my way to care for yours like they were my own, no matter the type of pet.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was around 9 years old, starting with my own pets and helping out with the pets of friends and family. While I haven’t done it professionally until now, I’ve always been the go-to person when someone needed a trustworthy and loving caregiver for their furry friend. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and love giving them the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or in-home visits, I treat every pet like my own, with patience, playfulness, and lots of love! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I recently graduated, so I currently have a very open and flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for! When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and relaxed in their familiar space. During visits, I make sure they get plenty of attention, whether that means playtime, cuddles, a walk, or just some calm companionship. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely, from feeding routines to favorite toys and potty breaks. I know how important it is to maintain your pet’s usual routine, so I do everything I can to make each visit feel safe, fun, and stress-free for both you and your furry friend!
About: Even though I joined the military my passion for dogs never faded.I am the odd one out in my family that loovveeesss dogs and of course I have my own pack of dogs. I volunteer at the PAWS Humane Society animal shelter to help walk dogs at least once a week. I have a pack of 3 dogs. They are all well trained pitbull class dogs well socialized some a little more than the other lol.
About: I have two dogs of my own, and been around dogs my entire life. Have dog sat for family and co-workers before. New to Rover, but would treat your four legged best friend like it was my own pet! I am new to the Opelika area and between jobs. Currently, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and can make any day of the week work. I do have two dogs of my own at home, that I would need to make sure are taken care of , but currently can make any day or time of day work for your animals schedule. I will gladly follow any rules or guidelines you have set for your fur baby so they can continue their routine when you are not home. If they need to go on walks, or just play in the backyard!
About: I’ve been around and caring for dogs for more than 20 years. My love and experience with dogs started at home—my dad was a dog trainer who worked with his own dogs as well as dogs belonging to friends and family. Growing up around that experience taught me how to understand canine behavior, respect each dog’s individual personality, and provide patient, attentive care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, and I especially love being outdoors. Hiking, nature trails, and exploring the outdoors are some of my favorite things to do, so when appropriate, I love taking the dogs in my care along for an enjoyable walk or adventure. I believe dogs benefit from both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and I always want their time with me to be safe, positive, and enjoyable. Pet care fits well into my schedule, and I’m available Sunday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM EST. I enjoy having a flexible schedule that allows me to give each pet plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and personalized care. I provide pet care at the owner’s home through dog walks and drop-in visits. Check-ins can include potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and companionship. I am not currently offering overnight stays, boarding, or pet sitting in my home.
