“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

About: I am the happy mother of three rescued fur babies and two adult children. One of my fur babies has been trained to be an emotional support dog and knows some sign language. They love children. My husband and I are empty nesters. I have been an RVT (registered Vet Tech) at several animal clinics and hospitals in town and in California. I am capable of giving medication subcue and including injections, along withthe needs diabetic dogs or those with special needs. If you need help with behavior issues such as leash walking Im your gal. I love wet kisses from sloppy fur babies. I havnt found anything yet that has changed my mind about these sweet creatures and if I could have 10 of my own I would. Since that is not possible the next best thing is to help others take care of their fur babies. I work from home and am available to be with your fur babies the majority of the time. About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. About: I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes from my experience in a vet clinic. I know what to look for when a dog is feeling un well or anxious. I have my own dog that is a cocker spaniel and he lives to play! I currently work at a job where I handle multiple dogs at once and I love it! I go on lots of walks and have a big yard to play! I work a part time job and am in college in town. I Am home most of the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Saturdays are my busy days but am still available to board. About: I have always loved animals- any and all types. I have owned dogs and cats as pets my entire life. I’m an honest and loyal person. I will provide the greatest care for your furbabies and make sure they are loved as my own. I volunteered with local humane societies and I also worked as an animal cruelty investigator for years. Animals live shorter lives than us humans so we have to make sure everyday is great. I have fostered numerous dogs and puppies that I found in abusive situations so providing a little extra care is no biggie to me. I would be happy to drop in and check on your animals, take them for walks or board them at my house. I have a ten year old child that knows how to treat animals. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was young. I’m new to Rover but have helped many neighbors, friends, and family with their animals over the years. I’d love to help you keep your pets and family at ease by looking after your pet while you’re away. I work during the day Mondays-Fridays but can easily take your dog out for walks in the morning and in the afternoon once I’m back home. Weekends are usually much more flexible with plenty of time for walks and playtime. I’m comfortable with pets in my home. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, but have a fenced backyard that’s great for your pet to get some fresh air when needed.

She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). “I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

Apollo is generally very friendly but can be unpredictable in new settings, Cody was happy to make the necessary accommodations to keep him safe and give me peace of mind. Apollo was also dealing with an ear infection and needed daily topical cleaner and medication, Cody took great care of that as well.”
