I currently work a full time job in the MaCalla/Bessemer area from 6:45/7:00 to about 4:00/4:30. I get an hour lunch break that I can take at any time of my choosing. I am free most of not every weekend, all day. I am an early riser so I have no problem with morning walks if needed! I will care for your pet as if they are my own! I am very good at handling various situations and would be a perfect fit to watch your dog! Well you have found your person here. I love furbabies & will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ To me they are our babies, & like us, they each have their own likes, dislikes, quirks & personalities. I have furkids myself & my house is setup with furbabies & safety in mind. 🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace, not rushed. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. We also have elevated beds outside, 2 pup-pools, large grassy area & covered backporch with fan, patio umbrella & also a water misting fan to beat the heat! Thats a real treat! (Pup cups too!)🥰 My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. Last minute, I feel that it is going to be too cold for me to be comfortable leaving them outside. David agreed to take them last minute, easing my concerns. We felt our pups were well cared for during their time with David. He kept us updated on them settling in. He sent us a video of our pups outside, behaving as they would if they were home. All of David's interactions with us during their stay allowed us to enjoy time with our family without concern. About: Growing up on a farm I've had a lot of experience with multitudes of different animals. I have a genuine love for all fur babies (and those without fur). I have a lot of love and time to give to any baby needing to be watched by someone who will be attentive and loving. I play and talk and really spend time with the babies I watch. I am home 99% of the time and when watching animals, like to spend time getting to know them and playing with them. Whatever time required for certain activities upon request can be met easily! I’ll take your pup out for a nice walk before work and when I come back a nice play day! My work schedule on the weekend is usually Friday & Sat 7pm-3am or Sat & Sun 7A-3P. I’ll make sure your pup has fresh food and water each day. If they get along with other dogs, I’ll take them to the dog park! Make sure they have great time outside and inside!
About: My animal and pet sitting experience is very extensive from having at most 4 dogs in my house growing up and farm sitting, cat/dog/lizard/fish sitting since I was 13. I love all animals and their health, safety, and happiness is my number one priority. Currently I’m a student in Alabama, originally I’m from South Carolina and have done pet sitting there for awhile. Although I do have class Monday-Friday I am available in the afternoons as my classes are all in the morning for the most part. I am also almost always available on the weekends! Personally, I have a female English Pointer mix who is very friendly with other dogs and people… she is easy going to say the least. Depending on your pups and the environment River could possibly be a good playmate if your fur babies are lonely. Safety is number one so I wouldn’t ever do anything without owners permission.
About: Coming from a family who shares a love for animals, the passion I have for them has always been present. I have experience in walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and showing nothing but love to the animals I have had the joy of taking care of throughout the past 10 years. From taking care of our family dog who is now a senior dog, to doing check ins for my friends, I provide whatever care they may need. I am currently doing part-time work. My main availability is Monday-Friday 9am-8pm. Availability is less likely on weekends, however I can work something out if needed. About: I can remember every pet I’ve ever encountered. My family owns a small farm in Alabama, and I have been taking care of animals my entire life. Living in the city, I miss the animals, and I think this is a good way to help others while getting to play with and take care of your babies. <3 I’m a freelance writer and actress, so I’m home A LOT. I need a companion just as much as your pet when you’re out of town/working/cannot give the attention they require! :) There’s a courtyard here that is fenced in, but I’d prefer to walk pets over to Queens City park for a little nature. Pet babies always have water, iced when it’s hot out, and I recommend bringing their favorite toys! I like to play and snuggle, so hopefully they won’t miss you too much. Also, bring their snacks!!! I’m happy to go over tricks they’re learning as well.
About: I grew up around dogs my whole life. Big and small. I take my own dog for walks at least 3 times a week. I have house sat for dogs and cats before and throughly enjoyed it. If I am to care for your animal at your home, I can assure you that I will do my best to follow your exact daily schedule your animals are accustomed to, that way they don’t have any extra stresses! As well as, you will not have to worry in the slightest bit about coming back and finding your place a mess! When you return not only will you return to happy pets but also a place that hopefully looks better than how you left!
