“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“Charlie was amazing with my dog, Shadow!!! Her and her girls were so sweet to him, sent pics of him living his best life everyday, and we're super accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process, start to finish! We will definitely book with Charlie again!”

“Tilly had so much fun with her fur friend! And Jessica was GREAT! Very attentive and accommodating! She always sent photos when we asked! Tilly looked like she absolutely had a blast! We definitely recommend Jessica to anyone needing someone to sit their dog!”

“Cannot say enough good words!! Laura loved on my puppies and sent me pictures and kept me so in the loop while they were there💕 would absolutely use again next time we are in the area for travel! Thank you so much again for taking care of my fur babies!”
“Stephanie is (by far) our favorite sitter on Rover. She treats our little dachshund as if she is a member of the family and gives her so much love and affection. She is also fantastic to work with and we enjoy her updates. Highly, highly recommended.”

“We had a family emergency & Whitney accepted our puppers with a few hours notice!! She & her family are excellent with caring for others’s furry family members!! We appreciate y’all so much!! Thank you!!”

“We left our 3 dogs for 6 days and they had a great time. They enjoyed a “home” setting much more than their traditional boarding/kennel experience. Shaina followed all of the directions and genuinely cared about the dogs and their needs. Highly recommended!”

“Angelika was such a great help while we were out of town! She was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. She made sure Jett stayed on his daily schedule and sent us pictures daily of our pup. He was a happy camper when we picked him up!”

“Jordan and girls are the absolute best! They provided a very safe and caring home for our pup! When we picked him up he was happy and obviously well cared for! We will definitely use them to take care of Rocky again in the future!”

“Very New to Alabama and needed to board my golden retriever. Called around to a handful of places and landed on rover. I am so incredibly thankful for Jamie and Connor. Our dog did absolutely amazing and had so much fun with their two dogs. The pictures and updates from his stay were so cute and made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommend!”

About: Experienced Pet Enthusiast with a Passion for Pups Ready to Provide Top-notch Dog Sitting Care! My home is safe for our fur babies to play. I currently work from home 2-3 days each week. I’m also open on most weekends for boarding and sitting except on Sundays. Great schedule that will fit your needs. I have a fenced in yard with doggy doors that opens into the yard. I also have 2 dogs that love to play. Dogs can be separated or crated if needed.
About: I have had the privilege of always having dogs. For me, there’s no greater joy! I was actually nicknamed at a young age “the dog whisperer” and I promise you it fits! I regard a dog’s care and routine with the utmost respect. I see the value in both physical and mental stimulation for your dog. Whether it’s playing games, learning commands, an agility course, or scent work, there are so many ways to introduce enrichment. Two of my own dogs have disabilities, one who is deaf and has seizures and one who had a leg amputated due to cancer (but he’s in remission and he’s loving life as a tripod!). So I am very familiar and comfortable with administering medication, following a specific care routine, and most importantly, giving all the belly rubs and kisses needed! I want your dog to feel secure with me and want me around, so I’m happy to do a meet and greet to get our journey together started! I work from home during the week and I’m off on weekends. I am usually available even with little notice. I am happy to provide whatever help you need that is best for your dog. Walks, playing, snuggles, and anything else needed! I take safety very seriously! I do not allow on leash greetings (unless you let me know who your pup’s neighborhood friends are and then I’m happy to let them say hi). I carry pet corrector in case an off leash dog approaches. I am very observant to dog behaviors and body language and I will quickly become in tune with your dog. I know how stressful it can be trusting someone with your dog so I’m happy to provide as many updates and photos as you like. I have a 2 acre fenced in yard (8’ high fence) that is secure and safe. The perfect space for playing, sniffs, or just being lazy! I have 3 friendly Great Danes that love animals! They are used to having their furry friends come over and play.
About: I’ve been around both large and small dogs my whole life. I fostered Dog’s when I live in Ohio and I had 3 acres. My sister has 5 dogs and 4 cats and a lizard. I used to take care of them all the time while she worked. I used to have a special needs dog that I took care of before cancer took him from me in 2019. I have 2 dogs right now. One was a foster fail, lol. I am a mother with another job so my schedule is all over the place, but I make it work. I can watch over night occasionally. When caring for pets in the client’s home, I will do what is needed to keep the pet safe and happy. Walks, play time, I can administer meds if needed, crate if needed, cuddles, etc. whatever you need.
About: I love working with animals and have had a dog for 12 years. I currently have a small pomeranian named Rambo! My children love to play with all animals as well. I I am a stay at home mom and work part time from home in the afternoon. I am available for round the clock care for your pets! I have a fended yard and a small Pom who would love to keep your pet company. I also have a finished basement to give your pet their own space if they need it as well!
“It was a pleasure to have Parris watch and take care of our almost 17 year old dog Vanilla for 5 days. Paris communicated very well, was prepared, and we highly recommend her! 👌”

“Adele exceeded all of our expectations. First she was punctual in always responding to our texts or emails, always within minutes. Regarding the caring of our Cavapoo, Shadow we could absolutely not have been happier or found a better person to have left her with. She is calm, soft spoken and obviously loves animals. Shadow bonded with her immediately and I don't think was ever lacking for attention!! Everyday we received daily updates and photos of their activities. It seems that she actually took Shadow somewhere everyday, whether it be to the park, the Nature center or somewhere....Shadow I don't think was ever bored or definitely never lacking for attention. After seeing all the fun times and activities that she and Adele shared we were concerned she would not want to come home with us!!! The most important point we would like to make is that we will definitely want Adele to keep her on any of our future trips, and know that if you used her you will feel the same about this adorable and kind young lady.”

“Terri did an amazing job keeping Miss Dot entertained with many dogs and big fields and keeping me relaxed with many pictures throughout the stay. Her huge fenced in back yard is a huge plus and Miss Dot is exhausted (in a great way) after spending a couple of days there.”

“Tara was great to work with. She clearly cares about animals and their wellbeing- you can be sure you’re leaving yours in good hands! Tara also made sure I felt as comfortable as possible, checked in with tons of photos and happenings daily.”

“Jessie was amazing!! She was very dependable and took great care of our cat, Luna, while were on vacation. Our shy cat warmed up to her very quickly and was happy to see Jessie each day. We loved that Jessie sent us pictures and videos with daily updates. I could tell that Luna was in great hands and much less stressed. Jessie treated Luna just like her own fur baby and gave her all the love and attention she is used to getting while we are home. Overall, this was such a great experience, and I would recommend Jessie to anyone. We will definitely book again next time.”

“Nikki was great! She was on time and showed up everyday. My very shy, fearful of new people, cat loved her. I loved that she took pictures of him every day to assure me he was ok. So glad we found her!!!!”

About: I have lived with cats my entire life and currently have five of them. When neighbors or family members are away, I occasionally take over to make sure they are well fed and treated. Experienced with many different types of cats; this includes kittens, aggressive, wild, neurotic and/or disabled cats.
About: Hi! My name is Adrian, and I've been around dogs and cats for most of my life. I grew up helping care for large dogs and have always been the person my family relies on to feed, play with, and look after our pets. I especially love large breeds and enjoy spending time outdoors, playing, and making sure dogs get the attention and exercise they need. Every pet has their own personality, and I take the time to earn their trust so they feel comfortable and safe while you're away. I'll treat your pets with the same care and respect I'd want someone to show mine. I'm currently very flexible and have plenty of availability throughout the week for house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. Because my schedule is open, I can dedicate plenty of attention to your pets instead of rushing between commitments. I communicate regularly, send photo updates, and always make sure owners know their pets are happy and well cared for. For everyone's safety and comfort, I currently only offer care in my client's home. My family dog is not comfortable around unfamiliar animals, so I don't provide boarding in my own home. When caring for pets in your home, I carefully follow your routines, make sure fresh water is always available, maintain feeding and bathroom schedules, provide plenty of attention and exercise, and send regular photo updates so you can relax while you're away. I also treat every home with the same respect and care that I would expect for my own. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and a clean home

“Excellent care for my two cats. Normally very shy, they were comfortable with Carlie. Carlie stepped in when my usual sitter had a schedule conflict and was a complete blessing. I highly recommend her!”

I treat every pet like family and always aim to make things easy, safe, and stress-free — for you and your animals. Let me know what you need! I always leave things clean, double-check food and water, and send updates so you know your pet is in good hands.

About: I first fell in love with cats when I was a little girl. I have a pit bull and Labrador , and the rest is history. I believe my calm demeanor puts most cats at ease, even the ones I have been told are shy around new people. Even though I grew up with dogs, cats now have a special place in my heart and I adore caring for them. I now have my own cat thanks to the Cat Distribution System named shadow

“I absolutely cannot compromise on is knowing my sweet puppy Mango is not just safe, but truly loved, happy, and well-cared for while I’m away. That’s where Adelle comes in, and she has been nothing short of a miracle. Adelle has given me something priceless: true peace of mind. Knowing Mango is in her loving hands allows me to focus completely on my craft without that worry in the back of my mind. For a chef who lives and breathes their passion, that trust is everything. Adelle, I honestly couldn’t repay you in this lifetime for the comfort and joy you bring to both Mango and me. You’re not just a dog sitter you’re a friend, again thank you so much ❤️🤍💙⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🥭 - Chef Jay & Mango ✨✨”

“Laura is great! I will definitely book again. She was able to keep my fur baby on short notice with no hesitation. Her home was clean and welcoming with fenced in back yard perfect for pets. My pup is usually very shy, but immediately warmed up to Laura and her husband. Laura kept me up to date on how he was doing throughout the stay and sent pictures as well. She's a great sitter!”

About: I have over nine years of experience caring for dogs, including one year as a boarder. Growing up, I fostered dogs and cared for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, but since I can’t have one where I live, getting to walk and care for them every day brings me so much joy! Whether your pup needs extra playtime, careful attention, or a dependable walker, I’m here to help. As an online student at UAB, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate walks and pet care throughout any day of the week. I’m usually up by 6 AM, so I’m available for early morning walks if needed. However, I prefer not to do nighttime walks for safety reasons. Whether your pup needs a midday walk or an afternoon play session, I’m happy to be there! I provide pet care in clients’ homes, following all given instructions to ensure consistency and comfort for your dog. Whether it’s walking, exercise, feeding schedules, or crate time, I follow routines closely to keep pets happy and stress-free. I prioritize safety, trust, and personalized care to make sure your pet feels comfortable while you’re away.

About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats, and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food, water, treats, and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past, and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous, what treats they like, any meds needed, and so forth. I'm currently staying at home to take care of and homeschool my two girls,as well as running a small kennel,so your dog will get plenty of care and attention. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water, food, and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels, with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence, that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool, for hot days.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was young. I’m new to Rover but have helped many neighbors, friends, and family with their animals over the years. I work during the day Mondays-Fridays but can easily take your dog out for walks in the morning and in the afternoon once I’m back home. Weekends are usually much more flexible with plenty of time for walks and playtime. I’m comfortable with pets in my home. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, but have a fenced backyard that’s great for your pet to get some fresh air when needed.
