Your kids are my kids and I will love them so much like my own :)) I keep my pets on a schedule and know how to treat them if they give signs of any sickness I have gone through it and know all the remedies to help. I love playing with my fur babies and having them fur baby friends. I also like to take my fur babies on walks even my cats in a cat backpack so they can see the world. I have been caring for all sorts of animals for the majority of my life. I am owner to three wonderful doggos, four charismatic kitties, a grumpy hedgie (Nugget), and a little dinosaur (gecko) named Mochi. I counseled clients regarding nutrition, behavioral problems, obesity, parasite problems, geriatric, flea problems, pre- and post-operative care, treatment instructions, etc. as well as assisting veterinarians and technicians with pets and diagnostics as necessary. After doing this for a few years I became familiar with veterinary medical terminology and procedures, how to perform wellness examinations, and how to recognize significant changes in health and mentation. This led to me being able to get a job at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. I worked as an unlicensed veterinary technician in immediate and intensive care in Auburn’s emergency and critical care department for most of my career before going back to general practice. After working in general practice for one year I realized my passion was in emergency medicine and I started working at an emergency clinic as an overnight ICU nurse. After my grandmother got diagnosed with cancer I decided to take a step back from full time veterinary medicine as I was facing compassion fatigue and burn out. That’s when I decided not to let my 10+ years of experience go to waste and I started my “business”, Lemon’s Aid. "Lemon's Aid" was founded in honor of my special needs puppy, Lemon. It is my hope and ambition at Lemon's Aid to provide exceptional healthcare and pet sitting experiences for your pets with skilled nursing treatments, specialty care, convenient home-based visits, as well as home to hospital transportation. Nursing house calls and in home sitting help alleviate the stress and anxiety that pets, and their families can experience during traditional vet clinic or boarding facility visits. This business helps bring in income as well as gives me the flexibility needed to care for my family. I am veterinary CPR certified and have experience performing CPR on canines and felines. I also have completed other programs in the veterinary field including my Fear Free Certification in small animals and exotics as well as The AAFP's Cat Friendly Practice program. About: I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned about my pets to others. Every pet has their own personality I want to get to know them. About: I have many dogs at home that I have taken care of for many years. I also have dog sit in my neighborhood and community and love playing with dogs. I am great at taking them out when needed and I will follow any instructions given. My number one goal is to make my pets happy and comfortable. I can do any weekdays and some weekends except Sunday because of church.
