My family and I were away for 6 days, and unfortunately, KoKo started exhibiting signs of illness on day 2 into day 3! Kelly alerted me immediately but had already made calls and received pet Med advice and comforted me as well as informed me of diagnosis! She never pressured me to return and even prepared special meals for my KoKo to ease his discomfort!!!! Turns out that he had a horrible case of separation anxiety that was literally making him sick. But Kelly and her family acted quickly and within 36 hours, helped KoKo settle and return to his normal playful healthy state! I told Kelly and I will tell the world… she’s not just a sitter… she’s a BLESSING for people that love their fur babies and want the best home away from home for them! My mom had to accompany her partner to an out of town medical facility, immediately after he received a surprise terminal diagnosis. She was very worried about her dog. Auburn picked Ginger up, took great care of her, sent regular pictures and updates, and dropped Ginger off after my mom got home, late at night. About: Since I was vey young I always had a special bone in my body for animals especially dogs. They're the joy in our hearts and the light of our lives. I live my life by the motto: I want to be the person my dog believes I am. I am sweet, loving, stern, and giving to my furry friends. I share my home with four cats, including rescues, so I understand animals with unique needs. Most pets, if asked, would prefer to stay home rather than go to a boarding kennel while you are gone. They are in their own home, eating their familiar food from their regular bowl, playing in their own yard, sleeping on their favorite bed or couch. My goal as a pet sitter is to keep your pet healthy, happy, and safe so you can enjoy your time away from home. I visit your home at least twice a day, feeding, checking water bowls, petting and loving, supervising exercise and play time, and handing out treats. I am especially good with senior dogs and have experience getting even difficult dogs to take medications. I also do things like collect mail or newspapers and turn lights on and off so that it looks like someone is around. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I currently work part-time and attend classes two nights a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for daytime visits, walks, and overnight care. I plan my schedule around each pet’s needs, making sure they get consistent attention, exercise, and affection. About: I’ve been walking dogs and dog sitting for family and friends since I was 10. I am a certified veterinary assistant and have experience in the clinic. I have been held responsible for walking, feeding, watering, and grooming pets in the past. I am currently working in the er 2-3 days a week. About: I’ve always had dogs growing up, and while my parents are away I go over and house sit and take care of their dogs. I also watch my neighbors dogs while they are on vacation. I’m currently working part-time and will be finishing up my college semester. During summer I will have a lot of free time during mid-day to check in on your babies!
